Pinkpather.. doesnt sound like youve had a very happy time At my sweep she basically told me i has no chance of going into lbaour either! Its crao.. she said i was 2-3cm which is normal for a 2nd but noneffaced.. silly woman but she tried really hard to get me booked in for today and managed to get a cancellation for me tomorow so keep asking the midwife to ring every day and check if there any room yet... at one point they didnt have any space till next tuesday which would of made me 16 days over!!

Ive been very grumpy the last few days.. i keep biting everyone head off about everything then apologising cos i know theyre not doing anything wrong.. my poor lil boy has never been shouted at as much! Im not even feeling that bad just extremely hormonal!!

Well im booked in tomorow so I finally get to meet my baby very soon Hope they manage to book you in soon' they refused to even try and get me in until I was atleast 10 days over!

I saw midwife today and ive gone from measuring 36 at 36 weeks to 34 at 38 weeks! Midwife couldnt understand it as ive always been measured by her, she seemed very puzzled by it and booked me in for hospital appt on tues - not sure if il get a scan or what and what the problem is

She did say 'ill book you in for tuesday - if you havent popped by then!' though which made me feel better

Cherelle, I think Midnight is right, my measurements went up and down lately, but midwife said the further baby drops down, the less you measure as head is not really in your bump anymore.
Beth, my midwife said the same as yours when she did my sweep, so I'm not holding out too much hope for this one, but have another booked for Friday. It looks like things are now moving for you though which is great.
