Ive got midwife today, more blood tests now im that taking loads of Iron tablets. Cant wait to see what she says about bubs, i dont know if he is fully engaged yet xx

morning! wow i can't believe it - i went to bed at 10pm after the apprentice and didn't wake up to go to the loo til 6am!!!

Briefly woke up once when my 4 year old Josie shouted out "mummy daddy you forgot to give me my drink for bedtime" but i lay really still and hubby soon jumped up and got her a drink - lol!! (see even once they're 4 they still have u up in the middle of the night!!!) although that's very rare for her to wake up now and was my fault as if i had remembered to put her drink in there she would have had a little sip and gone straight back to sleep!! Oh Well...

back aches today but nothing exciting to report - i am SURE i will go over my due date like i did with Josie!

I'm not going to enjoy today one bit. My OHs phone broke lastnight so I can't contact him today if something happens. I know that probably nothing will happen but what if. He's in a new job so I have no work contact numbers for him either, aaaaaah annoying xx

Hehe I forgot about landers prediction. If you look at the first page, I predicted today and Helen123 said today as well (I wasn't supposed to quote her on it) who knows eh?

He has typed in my phone the address of his work so if something happens I'm to try get the number and tell them what floor he works on lol. I'm sure nothing will, but wouldn't it be typical for it to happen the one day that he's almost impossible to reach. He found an old phone lying about so it's charging today so at least he will have that from tomorrow.

On a brighter note I'm going to see my cousins new baby today, it's not going to help my impatience but can't wait for a cuddle xx

Well still nothing I have been having the odd pains but nothing to say anything about .. My hubby has predicted today all along so hopefully he might be right (first time ive ever said that).. he always seems to be right though so i can hope.. but if not im in tomorow morning.. Wont be online as i have a shite phone but will be keeping my text buddy updated .... im really hope it only takes the one day like with my son as i dont want to be stuck in there days and end up ruining my sisters wedding as it will mean me and my mum both not being there

Anyhooos Im super excited now and still have to get the last bits and bobs for my bag... bit unorganised but never mind

Hi Lovlies, no sorry Catty & Pinky, nothing doing here, but thanks for the thoughts. Crisis at work so had to make lots of phone calls this morning... They obviously can't manage without me lol. Midwife said her sweeps are legendary so I'm still hopefull but feel pretty good today... No pains, which is not very encouraging, so thinking she's nowhere near ready Hopefully one of you will be soon, I need some excitement. PS Catty, you were right about that birthing ball... My legs were killing me yesterday!

Hello Charlie83, your due date is my dd2's birthday. Geminis are little monkeys lol.

I've had a crap day which I've spent most of it in tears. I had my consultant appointment this morning, the dr didn't understand why I was anxious about birth but understood that I'd had a traumatic 2nd birth (yes work that one out) I asked for a sweep and told her due to my spd I didnt want to wait too long for an induction. She went to see the top consultant who told her that he agreed with me and didn't want me leaving any longer than 4 more days. She then phoned labour ward who said they were full until next thursday. Needless to say I cried, because I can't stand another week of this and the consultant agreed but it's the labour ward that let me down. So Ive been put on a list and if someone goes spontaneously into labour and frees a place up I get that place. She gave me a sweep which bloody well hurt (& I cried again-I'm such a wimp) she said my cervix was unfavourable I was 0.5 cm dilated and my cervix was posterior. So all in all not a good appointment. I phoned my community midwife who said that consultants are crap at doing sweeps and she'll come out tomorrow to do another one! Lol so feeling a bit better now. I love my own midwife she's very straight talking if nothing else.
