Lulu how are u today?

I'm getting a Paco pod ... I want the rucksack one but has anyone seen it in person, is it big?

What's the best one to get?

I need to -
Buy changing bag
Buy pram , car seat and Isofix
Pack my own hospital bag

Then I'm done! Eeeek

I got the Samui Trio, with three pods in. I think most people use it for twins but it's ideal for me. I've got a quinny moodd and you can't put anything on the frame so I'm using it as strap over shoulder bag. For mine and baby's stuff, it's not to big either. I looked at the rucksack online but this one was on offer so i just bought it xx

My OH surprised me earlier and has booked us a spa break! It's for Sunday/ Monday at s place where they do specialist prenatal treatments! I'm so excited!! Need to make sure I can still get my ghetto booty in my bikini!! X

Thanks ladies. So looking forward to getting home tonight. My hubby is working night shift to as soon as I put my little to bed I am going for a nice bath and an early night. I am shattered.

Oh a spa weekend sound like heaven so jealous ML600. Hope you have an amazing time.

Oh rest up tonight Michelle, how long left have you got? I can't wait until my last day next fri. Ml600 sounds fab have a brill time! I've just got a large ladies bag for a changing bag, it's like a nautical theme , navy White stripe, and my pram is red so it'll match. I had the midwife this morning! She struggled to get my blood, ended up there ages and went all nauseous and sweaty until I finally shut my eyes and just went! Good job she had an assistant in with her! She sent them off as urgent so I'll have the results either by 6pm or tomorrow , either way it's before my consultant Thurs. i've grown abit so that's good, I'm still behind but not as much. Every touch hurt and he almost fooled her again with his boney butt! Then she pressed down hard and explained she couldn't feel his head! I had to take a deep breath in and she went again, she could only feel abit of his head and explained this doesn't usuallt happen this early in subsequent pregnancies, she's wrote 3/5 in my notes it's so exciting!! I knew he'd dropped lower I just felt it. Not sure what this means but least he's in the right direction! My arm is so sore too and bruised :/ hope lulu is doing ok! x x

I'm getting worried about lulu!! I hope everything is ok with her and Henry! I can't believe she will have him soon. Makes it all so real!! She gets newborn snuggles soon!!! X

I saw midwife today. Measuring 36 weeks when I'm 34, baby is 4/5 engaged! Waiting on my scan on Thursday though to see if I really am further ahead than we think. I still have grown 3cm in two weeks but everything else seems fine. Really hope this means I am not gonna be overdue but you can never tell haha

Weren't you given an earlier date initially MT and then you were put back? Yay for being engaged!

Ml that sounds amazing! So jealous!
SP my sis in law was offered a turn last time but she declined after a lot of research. The stats on baby staying turned weren't high enough to convince her so she had a section!
Sugar did you hear about your bloods? Sounds like something's up! So exciting that your bump has dropped though!!
Oh MT that sounds exciting too! All this progress already eekkkk!!

Had a chat with HR and after deciding to finish this Fri I might end up working until the 24th now lol! Fun times!

Ok, update on Lulu.


She was still contracting but no sign of Henry. There was a concern about reduced movement so she was scanned for that as well as growth. Henry was measured at 6lb 2oz. The doctor that scanned her wanted to induce soon but got a second opinion from, by all accounts, an absolutely horrid doctor who said "I will not deliver a 35 week baby he is too small" and told her to go home and wait for her regular consultant appt next Tuesday if nothing happens between now and then.

She's currently contracting every 12 minutes.

Finally got a chance to sit down and chill out. Got myself a big bowl of raspberry ripple ice cream and got my feet up.

My last working day is next Friday and it can't come quick enough. We have our appointment to see the Consultant next Tuesday hopefully we get our date for our section then and omg I am praying it's the earliest possible date. I am desperate for our little girl to get here quickly and safely.

Thank you for thinking of me girls! Mentally and physically exhausted. Got horrific stabbing pains in my fairy and still contracting but I've been told not to go in unless I have bled or my waters break hate that hospital now xx

Oh gosh lulu , really pleased you are home where yourll feel more comfortable and can eat when you want but they don't sound very open to earlier induction then despite all your problems. Doc must of been talking about pre 37 werk grstation as 6 lb 2 oz is a great weight for 35 weeks! Hope you can get some rest xx

Sugar, your bloods sound a nightmare. Mine still are not back 4 weeks later so the antibodies must be fine! Makes me a bit cross as my levels are always quite low, ( higher this time) so it gets poo pooed but my babies always end up with issues at birth from it and preventing us coming home straight away

Well im 32 weeks today -yayy milestone in 7 weeks tomorow morning ill be on the train to the hosp for my section, id better check they go that early actually ha usually have to be there by 7 am!

Had a school reception meeting tonight as my 4.5 yr old starts school 11 days after baby arrives , typical out of three classes I have the one with steps and thin pathway so I can't park my new pushchair anywhere near the doorway! And im sure ill have to speak to teachers at drop off as my son will get no sleep for a bit! Grrr not sure im happy leaving a newborn and toddler even for a moment

Oh gosh few posts to catch up on tonight!
Oh lulu that's a shame they won't induce earlier, but it will be because they don't like to intervene unless baby is unhappy before 37 weeks. If you're contracting and not dilating they could be trying to slow them down so you can so you can get some rest until real labour kicks in. It's not fair on you! Least you're home and can relax easier in your own bed and have your own things around you.

Jj mum, my bloods will have dropped I haven't been feeling well but not sure how much until I get the results which will be tomorrow. My poor arm is bruised and sore all the way around :/ she felt so guilty bless her! I wasn't bothered, just suddenly went all funny!

Cant believe how much his movements hurt now, every single one just feels like he has zero room or fluid around him. I felt the shape of the foot and leg before, and he really does have a boney butt!

7 weeks tomorrow till your section date, wow exciting! You could have your baby before some of us jj mum!! Hopefully not me - haha - I don't wana go over! Do you think his head will 'Bob out' or stay engaged, don't remember my others engaging until the last 2 weeks or so. Wonder why it's so early this time . He's keen! xx
