Bubbles lets me know how your massage goes! I've got one booked on Sunday and I'm not sure how they do it/ areas they target! Do you Kay on your side and roll over?! I'm so curious!

Has anyone experienced thrush in pregnancy? I'm pretty sure I'm suffering at the moment. I've read up that using the cream is safe, just can't take the tablets. Either that or smear myself in yoghurt.... Sexy!! X

I had a cream with an applicator (like a tampon) it took around 7 days to clear up , I use a non fragranced shower gel for my lady bits and didn't wash my knickers in bio washing powder or fabric conditioner (i used just non bio washing powder) and cotton knickers were a must as i found other material to make it worse, hope this helps x

Thank you! I've got my post birth pants on as they are the only cotton ones I have lol. I'm not itchy, just sore and swollen (sorry if tmi) so in hoping that goes down soon x

Bubbles, glad you found out what they were :) so envious of your massage, take me with you?!?!

ml, thrush is pg is bloody vile. Def use the cream, it takes around a week for most women but takes me about 2 weeks to fully get rid as I am prone anyway. Make sure hubby gets treated too, so you don't pass it between you. I think men can harbour it without symptoms for longer than women so always treat him as well as yourself. You can use the pessary but I don't recommend it as it buuuuuuuurns! I am a wuss though so don't take what I say as gospel!

I am so angry and upset today. I was up at the hospital til 1:30 this morning, I was having what felt like contractions every 4 minutes for a minute for 3.5 hours. Got to the hospital and it all stopped, the mw just sort of laughed at me and said "you're not in labour". I asked her what the pains were and she goes braxton hicks. If I wasn't on the monitor, I honestly would've launched myself at her. The doctor was horrid, she was so rough with the examination.

They've said I might have an infection but they don't know what it is and sent me home to await the results. I can't imagine it being a UTI as I'm having no problem going to the loo so I can't understand what it could be bt I've been given no medication. My tummy has been having loads of bh last night and this morning but very erratic and nothing like they were at half 9 last night. I'm so gutted, I was convinced I was in labour.

Thanks kumber, is there any relief of symptoms before 7 days? I don't want it to ruin my spa break! When I was in hospital 10 days ago I was contracting, reaching a level of 56 on the monitor, every 5 minutes for aaaages. Mine was due to infection but I had no fever or anything, just tummy pain. I found I kept having contraction like pains until the antibiotics kicked in x

Yeah, it does start to be less itchy and uncomfortable after a couple of days. You can still go on your spa break, just make sure you dry thoroughly to prevent warm, damp conditions making the infection worse.

I've spoken to hospital about swab results and they've said it'll take 2 days for results to come back, so it'll likely be Monday before I get any treatment! I've been given nothing in the mewntime, just told to take paracetamol which doesn't make a difference. So fed up.

Oh that sucks! Did they test your urine? X

Aww Kumber, sorry to hear you had a bit of a scare last night. How very rude of the midwife. So much for the caring profession.

How is everyone else feeling today?

I'm so tired today, even doing the daily light housework is a chore! So very hungry too!

I think baby has changed position too, baby has been breech for a long time but today I'm feeling movements a lot lower rather than on both sides of my tummy. Those who have head down babies, where are your general movements?

Ml currently suffering from thrush!! It's horrid! I've got the cream and it's already helping thank goodness!!
Lulu glad you're comfier at home but sorry to hear you're still having a rough time!!
Kumber that's awful that they were horrible and sent you home with nothing and no idea what's going on!!! I'm sure you were furious!!!
Bubbles let me know how the massage goes! I finish work tomorrow and would love to get booked in for a mum to be package somewhere but not really sure where so a recommendation would be fab!!
Hoping everyone else is doing good! Nearly Friday!! xx

Tmum where abouts are you from? I've done looooads of research into places that specialise in pregnancy treatments. I've just put the internal cream in and will keep putting on the external cream so hopefully I'll feel a bit of relief soon! Just want to sit on ice lol x

Just outside Belfast!
lol I know the feeling! Thrush, a yeast infection and piles all at the same time! I have been so uncomfortable and kept putting off going to the dr. Yesterday she turned to me with a smile and said 'they are all very common problems in pregnancy'! I just wanted to crawl under the bed lol! xx

Why are all the most hideous things all the things you commonly get in pregnancy?! We are bringing a life to the world, shouldn't karma make pregnancy easy?!

I didn't look as far as Belfast as I'm from way away in Cambridge lol. But I know champneys spas are highly recommended if there's one near you?? X

Argos have a sale on at the moment. We got a digital video baby monitor from there yesterday. Should of been £159 we got it for £90.

Hi folks just back in my room and had my massage. I lay on my side with a little pillow under bump. It was lovely :) they done my back, hands, feet; I got a facial and a bit of an Indian head massage (where I had to lie on my back). Also I like a massage really hard and they said that was fine too :) I lay up in the relaxation room for about 45 mins after eating fruit and drinking water... Bliss :)

Tmum I'm in the merchant, my friend got it for my as a present so don't know how much it is. The spa is amazing here. There is a huge bed beside the jaquazzi (can't spell) that I lay up on reading while my friend jumped into the bubbles, so I didn't feel like I was missing out.

Lovely day so far but knackered already. Just getting ready for dinner and I'm hoping to be tucked up in bed by 9... I'm so rock and roll these days lol
