October Babies 2011 - Our Tri-3 thread :D

My little man chats non stop too, from the moment he opens his eyes in the morning to the moment he shuts them at night, sometimes talks in his sleep too!

Anyone else just want to finish work now? Im getting fed up and seem to be getting p*ssed off at everything, only 33 working days to go and counting! x x

Yes!! I would love to give up work now but still around 9.5 weeks for me (depending on when baby makes an arrival).

Lucky you only 33 working days to go, not long at all hun xxx

I know we have a thread in pregnancy chat but now we are all here, i thought it would be nice for us to have a tri-3 thread.

Hello Mummy2Adam , Could you please add me? My due date is the 9th October and I am Team Pink

My last working day is tomorrow!!

I kept all my AL for the end, that way I am taking 21 days AL and starting my maternity leave on the 23rd Sept for at least 6 months!!!! Don't think I will be able to do more as my company pay me 3 months and after it's statutory.

Day 2 of leave for me........:wall2: I am fed up already!! Fed up of being pregnant now, I just want to hold my LO!

Traci - I know how you feel! I'm not working at the moment, and OH is offshore, so I'm just sat around the house... Well, I say sat around, I've given up on my inflatable chairs so I've put my pregnancy pillow and 4 normal pillows on the floor to sit/lay on... Really hope my sofas arrive soon!!!!

I'm feeling pretty fed up to be honest! I have everything ready for LO, I wish he'd just come out now!!!

xx

Finishing work cant come soon enough - everything is irritating me too. And the day just feels so much longer coz its taking me ages to do everything.

:oooo:

I can't wait to finish work either. I'm training my cover at the moment, and I'm finding it exhausting! Only 8 working days to go - woo hoo!

I'll probably be complaining that I'm bored by the end of my first week off though

Still working, and must be mad, just taken on a new research project that will take weeks to do. Grrrr to baby brain zapping my concentration!

On plus side, am feeling strangely relaxed about the whole labour thing. Almost floating about in a serene bubble, may have to try the CD m2a recommended!

I feel the same way about labour! Everyone keeps asking me if I'm scared/nervous and I keep saying nope, I'm fine about it actually... And I am at the minute! I don't know why! My mum thinks I'm just avoiding thinking about it, but I think about it all the time! I know it's not going to be a pleasant thing, but I'm so much more excited about it than I am scared!

xx

Im strangely excited about going into labour! Im worried it will b worse than I imagined, but other than that I'm actually sorta looking forward to it  x

Now hubby is home again (not sure how long for though!) it all feels a bit real and not far away! We actually started talking about starting nursery and what we need to buy and think we'll go car hunting this next week. We also put the pram up properly yesterday and had a little play with it, I love it! The carry cot mattress looks a bit thin and crap though, are most prams like this or just mine? Spent a fortune on it so was a bit disappointed with this bit, the rest is great so I'll maybe need to fork out yet more money for another pram mattress!

I was quite happy with the carry cot matress as i expected it to be quite think but it wasnt, i think babyrus sell them hunny.
It definetly is starting to feel more real, my maternity cover has been advertised this morning eeekk!
Has anyone tried pre-natal yoga, im going tonight :) x x

I am also very excited about labour. I went to visit a friend and her 8 week old baby yesterday and she said to me 'are you nervous about labour' and I said nope, I'm really exicited, I can't wait and she thought I was bonkers. I remember being exactly the same when I was expecting Lennon too!!

This is my 4th and I have to say I'm not looking forward to it at all, will be glad when he is here but would love to fast forward the labour bit lol

M2A - I started yoga classes two weeks ago. They are really good. Not hard work at all. Its more about your breathing and being in connection with your baby.....The stretchers are nromal yoga ones but not pushing yourself too far. Also really nice to meet some other pregnant ladies too as we are not starting NCT for a few more weeks yet...

Ooh I was looking into the yoga classes, but there aren't any for pregnant ladies in my area! :( I have my first net natal class on Saturday though, so looking forward to that! X

I've got a birthing class booked for tonight, luckily they called though to check I'm going as it's women only and my hubby was coming, strange though, I didn't book it the midwife did and never mentioned women only!

I think its great that there's classes for pregnant women, you's are lucky, we have some in Glasgow but at the other side of city.

I had my ante-natal revision class thing today, was for 2 hours, an hour with physio & an hour with MW. Got some good tips from physio, and do you know, you dont need to do pelvic floors 10x a day, she said only 2 is fine! Didn't really learn anything new, but was good to hear about the differences in hospital procedures since last time.

Hope you are all well, and looking forward to the w/end - I know I am!

:)

Little miss hopeyou don't mind me asking but what hospital r u planning on going to? X I'm thinking about whether or nit to go to birthing centre or travel to southern general or Paisley x

I'd love the birthing centre but what if something goes wrong! X would rather be in actual hosp I think x
