sorry to hear that Sarah, will you be getting another scan?

But being a week ahead must be great feeling, its not official with the hosp though is it? But i'd say baby will come early, or be big - wot weight was ur 1st?

Going to have another at 35 weeks so fx!
They have always measured me a week ahead of hospital but I can't really be that as my hubby was away when you work backwards! Also by my own dates I'm due a few days later so guessing it's a biggish baby, my daughter was 8lb 10oz and my hubby is big so kind of expecting this one to be a bit larger than she was if I don't go early!

Dates can be soooo confusing, my dates got put back 4 days at my 12 wk scan, even though that didn't fit in with possible conception. Dont know how on earth they work out the difference of an unborn babies growth by 4 days loool

Another wasted 4d scan! I either have a very shy or very awkward baby! This time baby had not only it's hands covering it's face but it's legs and cord so we saw nothing at all of its face! It's also in a funny position kind of transverse with it's head deep into my hip. If we wasn't on team yellow the scanner said it's bits were perfectly on view, typical! Got one last shot and to check it's changed position at 35 weeks. He did say there is no room for baby to move at all and still measures a week ahead, so guess I better start bouncing on my ball and getting on all fours to encourage it to turn! Must admit I was really disappointed esp as my parents are up visiting and there was nothing to see, fx crossed for next time.......

Oh Sarah, that must have been so frustrating for you! Real shame that you didn't get to see much but at least you have another go and that baby growing well. Will keep fingers crossed for you for next time xx

I know, that's so scary, I'm not ready for a baby yet! My parents have been up for the week and went yesterday, was so strange to think next time I see them my fat belly will be a cute baby, I can't get my head around it!

I thought the same thing this morning! I woke up and looked at my watch, saw it was the first of September and thought "ahhhh I'm due next month!"

It's so exciting, really creeping up! And my little nephew is due in 12 days, I can't wait!

Boo hoo, back on my own again, hubby got a call to go away today and for don't know how long, hopefully just a short trip, I wanted to look at cars this week and the loft conversion prob start before he's back so guess I'll have to deal with the house upside down on my own. I'm a right miserable cow today, all I've done is moan!

I Also got a rush of excitement today at the thought of saying 'I'm going to have a baby next month!' makes it seem so much quicker!

Think I need to start buying stuff! Might leave a lot of nursery stuff until house is sorted though so it don't get dusty!

We've got all the essentials cot, swinging crib (for our bedroom) pushchair, sterilisers, monitors, playmat, bouncy chairs & bottles!

I Think all we need is clothes, nappies & milk! But I can't help thinking there is LOADS we still need to get!

All i've still got to get is some clothes, powdered milk, baby toiletries & bath/mat/toiletries box. But when its all written on a list it looks like loads - oh and need all my stuff for going into hosp.

Sarah - Poor you being on your own again! Hope OH gets back soon! My OH just told me yesterday he's having to go to Romania after Russia for a week... Gutted isn't even the word!

I definitely think baby stuff is never ending!!! I still have to get bottles, steriliser, muslins, a playmat and a bouncy chair or swing... I want to get a carrier as well. There must be things I've missed, but not even going to think about it until OH is back, I feel stressed as it is!

On the plus side, my sofas FINALLY arrived yesterday, so I can do my stressing in a comfortable position!

There are plenty to look on Internet, when I bought my BB furnitures I spent so long time on it trying to find the ones with good reviews, youtube reviews etc.. It should keep you busy until your OH is back!!!
Also I am doing some acrylic painting on canvas for the BB room, keep me busy

Sorry your hubby got called away Sarah- I know I'd find that tough to deal with and I know I'd moan like anything so don't worry about that!

Can't believe our LO's will be here soon, I am flitting between panic and excitement! Currently am feeling very stressed out tho as we are having so many issues with mothercare and our nursery furniture!! Just want it all sorted now so I can chill out but we just keep getting one problem after another!

Am finishing work next week- so that should help! Still got to get quite a few things but trying not to panic about it!
