Things are starting, went to midwife yesterday and am in latent phase of labour. She said it could be a matter of a day or as much as a week. As soon as I settle that everything is in the bag, I'll sit down and then think of something else that i NEED to make sure is in there, it's become an obsession.

Oh how exciting! You might be the next October mummy into September!

Way I feel this morning it can't be soon enough Sarah. Can deal with contracting, whilst they are starting to get stronger, they still aren't unbearable, it's the nausea and indigestion that is getting to me.

I guess nausea is a good sign things are moving, not sure about the indigestion though, least that will go soon as baby here. Your team yellow as well arnt you?

I put our daughter in her own room from the early morning we brought her home. Her room was right next to ours & we still had baby monitors plugged in. It was just easier so we when we took our turns in nights we didn't wake each other up so we could both 'try' get a good sleep.

Our son was in with us until a year old as we were living with OH's parents which is probably why I had my daughter in her own room, straight in cot from day dot

I can't believe we may have our next October mummy! How exciting!

Yay! Glad to hear there's another one on the way.
Wish mine would feel totally poop today and don't know how I'll manage to work until next Friday, I have considered leaving this week but I think it's only 5 days next week and I have some flexiblity in my hours so maybe I should just plow on through and take the odd sick day .
Don't usually take sick days so feel really guilty at the thought of it lol

Well, I have tweaked my maternity leave so now finish next Wednesday instead of Friday and I am only working 4hours per day next week!
Not a massive change but even just working half days will be sooo good, especially if this hot weather keeps up!

Just thought I'd remind all you October mummies that tomorrow is the last day you can say 'I'm due next month' as of Saturday we'll be saying 'I'm due THIS month!!'

I really think my baby is gona come soon!
im losing my plug, braxton hicks have been increasing in tightness, the pressure of it engaging is sometimes too much.

Ive got my 1st appointment with the Dr/midwife tomorrow so im hoping my LO can wait until after because I want a home birth God willing so i need to secure that.

I can't believe it's finally our month!!!! Poor OH had to bring the sofa bed mattress up last night and sleep on that on the floor so I could have the whole bed! I told him he had to sleep in the bedroom because I was worried if he slept downstairs he'd turn off the fish tank filter! He hates the noise but I want my fish to stay alive haha!

Trust there to be a heatwave so close to our due dates! I'm sat on the sofa with the fan pointed at me in a baggy dress, with a glass of ice and tiny bit of squash!

Not long now, although I've lost hope that LO will come early now, he doesn't seem to be budging, and my BHs have really eased off, haven't had any for days now! MW said hopefully I wouldn't make it to my 39 week appointment on monday but I guess I'll be seeing her there!!!

Yep, can't believe October is here! I'm 37 weeks 2moro and can't wait! This heatwave is making me so uncomfortable- especially at night.......be good if we could get back to a 'normal' October before labour kicks off!

I was looking at the calendar yesterday at birthdays we have this month and all i could think about was there could be another birthday on my calendar soon its so strange that Ive waited for Oct to come for so long now its kind of unbelievable thats its here!

Alot of October babies have decided to make an early appearence, could you please let me know when your little one arrives, name, weight ect so i can update the front page x x

There has been alot of births this week....Sarah - emmbee - froslass emmmm cant remember i'm sure there's one more thats gonna annoy me.

Its so so scary I think, even though i'm sooo excited to meet my baby, i'm so scared at the same time. Its the unknown, i'm such an organiser, perfectionist type person, hate not knowing whats happening. I suppose I need to see it as all part of the fun!

How u keeping M2A - you all organised? Is Adam excited?
