lol already told him he will be doing that and the funny thing is he doesn't seem to mind and for a 17 year old teen boy I thought he would but I think he is looking forward to seeing him awwwww :D

Damn it!! I think baby has moved over to me right hand side!! And there was me feeling proud that my bubs was in a brill position. Bugger! Gonna have to get her moved!!

Traci, thought there wasn't much difference between a left or a right hander.

Pickle moved between the two over the last fortnight, worryingly settling back to back for a while too.

Midwife suggested to me, being on all fours with bum higher than head as it gives baby more space to move!

I'm so excited about giving birth it's untrue!! LOL.

Hahaha - I was saying the same thing to OH this morning. I just want to be in full blown labour. Every twitch or niggle I get gets me all excited!

Been trying to get organized this weekend, think I finally have quite a lot of 'stuff' for baby now and got the lady toiletries like pads, breast pads, arnica etc so kind of ready now. Still have a few bits to get like a changing bag (can't find one I like), a changing mat, bath, bouncy chair, cradle bedding but I know I'd muddle through now, baby wont be naked and nappyless! Anyone else not have a nursery? We just have too much going on in the house with loft conversion going on so going to do it once baby is here, least we can pick boy or girl stuff then I suppose!

We dont have a nursery yet Sarah. We have just had a new kitchen & bathroom fitted & there's still on-going decorating going on. Baby will be in our room for at least 6 months anyway so we have loads of time left to sort out a nursery, seems silly to use up space on a nursery just now when we dont need to - it will only be collecting dust.

:)

Glad I'm not the only one! Baby's room is full of loft stuff just now and I thought it would just get dusty for next few months. Just feels a bit odd not having it ready and looking all nice!

does anyone really use a 'nursery'?? My 1st had a room which i used to keep her clothes and baby stuff in but she slept in her cot in my room until she was 2 and a half! number 2 stayed in my bed untill she was 1 and a half then moved in with her big sis. to be honest you buy everything when its your 1st but with any that follow you know what in necessary and what you can do with out. trust me its easier for the baby to be in the same room and even the same bed for at least the 1st 6 months. you feel alot more comfortable being able to just turn and look at them rather than worrying if they are ok in another room.

Never had one with any of my others and wont with this one either as I don't have the room anyway but personally I like having them in the same room with me until they get older.

I do want baby in it's own room nursery or bedroom, def by 6 months, want a sex life back for starters lol!

I'm feeling so blah that I would want the baby to appear over the next few days, i dont think i could do the labour then the sleepless nights feeling like this.

how do i put my ticker up?? i have one but dont know how to attach it...

Charlotte2010 if you go to your signature in the settings you can copy and paste your ticker in there if you have one.

They tell you to keep baby in your room til 6 months at least anyway.

I moved my first into her own room at 7 months & we never had any problems at all, some ppl I know have waited til 1 year & find it really hard to settle them. So gonna do the same this time.

Anyone else NOT packed their hospital bag yet?

I'm starting mines today - I know I dont have everything for it, but just starting it will be great!!

:)

Have been packing and re-packing my bag since the weekend!

Going to tempt fate and not pack a bag as really want to have this home birth, loft conversion finished or not! If I go early I think I'll deal with the bag issue then!

Things are starting, went to midwife yesterday and am in latent phase of labour. She said it could be a matter of a day or as much as a week. As soon as I settle that everything is in the bag, I'll sit down and then think of something else that i NEED to make sure is in there, it's become an obsession.
