Ok so I had my consultant appointment this afternoon and it went alright. I’m being referred for therapy which is pretty much standard when you ask for an elective section. I told her my reasons for wanting a section and she didn’t disagree with me but just said that because I’m low risk they wouldn’t recommend it. I should hear in the next week or so about my referral for therapy but I think if I’ve not heard by the end of this week I’ll give them a ring because I’ll be 35 weeks then and we will soon be running out of time.

Thanks. I know the NICE guidelines and my rights so if my consultant won’t give me a section then I can just ask to be referred to someone who will.

Hello ladies just a quick one from me.

Oscar John mark and Theodore Peter arrived this afternoon weighing 6lbs and 5lbs 11 oz at 35+5. Oscar is doing really well and is with me but Theo is needing some help with his breathing. I’m extremely sore and exhausted. Unfortunately we were trying to avoid them being premature but they had other ideas and j went into labour.

Omg!! I can’t believe I’ve just seen this @Elfs Mummy i can’t believe your boys arrived yesterday and ahead of their planned arrival date. Congratulations!! Love the names! Hope you’re all well and Theo gets better soon. Look forward to hearing how you went into labour etc and what happened when you get a minute xx

Just a quick one I’ll write a proper post and birth story when I’ve slept (haven’t since Sunday and that was where it all began !) boys are doing ok things are heading in the right direction.
I’m in quite a bit of pain this is 100% the worst recovery I’ve had so far. boys are currently back in the room with me but under phototherapy so I’m not meant to be cuddling them just feeding every three hours which I’m ignoring as they just want mummy x Theo on the left and Oscar on the right
