They normally do C-sections 2 weeks b4 due date as u can go into natural labour a week b4 ur due date

the guidelines have changed unless there’s a medical reason they like you to wait sometimes even up to due date x

Not everyone has medical reasons for C-section as most women have elective C-section feel for them if they have to wait and if they go into natural labour

yes they do but it’s then classed as an emergency. My friends got to wait to 39 weeks and been told if she goes into labour before they’ll do an emergency section within the hour x

From the information I’ve been told by people I know that have had elective sections they book you in around 39 weeks but if you show any signs of going into labour beforehand then they’ll give you a section then, it just might end up being an emergency one. As this is my first I’m hoping the baby won’t come early so I can have a planned section rather than an emergency.

Maybe it depends on what Trust you are under as to how early they give you a section date? Can’t believe you’ve been given a date already @teachermummy have you had an appt with your consultant yet? What did they say? I only have my consultant appt on 11th November when I’m 34+4

I’m such an idiot was really craving a flapjack and hot chocolate so had it.
Of course it’s fudged my sugars up this evening. Need to get my head around this all.

Oh no! I can imagine it being so hard. Maybe try to get low sugar hot chocolate like the lighter versions and see if that still satisfies you? I know they have sweeteners in them though but they should be alright shouldn’t they? X

Just had the appointment today (32+5) and she got me all booked in. I'm pretty much on early labour watch anyway, so she just gave me a final eviction date so we know it's going to be some time in the next 5.5 weeks!

Its so hard to not eat wat u crave
I eat it and then hope for the best

This pregnancy i have been hooked on to fizzy drink normaly we dnt get fizzy drinks in the house due to kids, but through out this pregnancy half the fridge been full with diet coke just for me tho lol ur allowed diet coke as its got sweetner and not sugar i was told at my diabetes clinic coz i told them i crave fizzzy drinks and also i have sweetners in my tea

With diabetes u have to have more protein and less/ hardly and carbs basically

My first was over due a week was induced on 41 weeks pregnancy- long hard labour

2nd came naturaly 2 days before due date didnt have time for pain relief or anything she was born within hour of geting to the hospital- natural labour and delivery was amazing no stiches no meds pure natural which i am hoping and praying to God for this time

3rd time i was induced a week before lots of going in and out of hospital for a week and no medicine worked he Was born on his due date - was a tough 18hrs labour

Only God knows wats in store for the 4th

Wow that’s exciting! I hope I get a date when I see the consultant then on 11th November. I’ll be 34+4 by that point xx

Be careful about drinking too much Diet Coke because it has caffeine in it too don’t forget x

They’ve put me on metaformin. It’s rather annoying but oh well.
They also mentioned doing my section at 39 weeks !!!! I’d be so upset if they moved it but luckily my consultant has agreed to it so the doctors can’t change it x

I had a blood test last week and its come back am anemic so doctors have prescribed iron tablets
Makes sense why i felt lifeless
Feel so tired and no energy watsoever

Growth scan on monday Cant wait to see what he weighs and if hes okay

And physio therapy on tuesday they saying they gonna give me crutches as am finding it hard to walk with the babys head down but i dnt want crutches i sed just give me belly band or bandage which helped with my last pregnancy
Will have to see wat happens Tuesday

May highest reading has been 9.0 but most evening readings are 7 ish x

hopefully they’ll give you a band as crutches are a faff whe. You have other kids x
