Chart Stalkers January 2008

Afternoon all

I think we all had a bit too much of that Friday feeling yesterday...but it was hilarious!

Prize for the most accurate prediction was ROM though.... 'Chrissy I predict you drink a whole bottle of wine - rip your DH pants off and bed like rabbits....... You may not get that BFP but you will have a smile on your face tomorrow......' How did you know?????? That is exactly what happened in the chrissy household last night!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Kitty - I had a really early temp in the first couple of days of this cycle and it put that in as a solid circle and changed my normal ones to open circles. After I'd put a couple of days more temps in at the normal time it changed it back to being an open circle on that day so if you put your temps in at the normal time for the next couple of days it should right itself again.

Sookie - :cheer: :cheer: So glad you DH is home and on the mend again. Fingers crossed that he'll be back to his healthy self again in a few days

Loola - TTC is such an emotional time for us all. I think you're very brave though......I haven't even dared to pick up a pregnancy magazine yet because I know it will upset me.

Littlelady - Are you sure you put the right e-mail address in??? If not then you might have to sign up again using a differnt username

KMAC - The lining build up is done in the time between your OV and AF and is caused by the progesterone rise in your body. Providing your LP is 10 days or more then you would def have enough lining for the egg to implant. The only time it would be a cause for concern is if you have short LP's of less than 10 days. If you OV on CD7 and you AF was on 21 that means you've got a healty 14 day LP which is fine.

  Hi to everyone else, can't stay around....got housework to do :(

p.s. Can you believe between the few of us we've managed to do nearly 700 posts in a month....... I think we need to get out more!! :rotfl:

I tested yesterday, just in case (I was intending to glug some red wine, but in the event DH was drinking beer so I didn't open a bottle :( ) and it was a BFN.

And just to make matters worse, I then accidentally kicked over my pee-pot as I stood up, knocking the contents all over the bathroom floor...

For some reason DH found it really funny  He said that missing the loo was a man's job...

I really don't think DH is getting the point of this TTC lark. He said that he really hoped it was AF/ BFN on the test, so that we have to carry on BDing some more... Have I got the only husband/partner who is actually hoping for BFNs???

Kitty just tell him the first few months of pregnancy make you insatiable! See what he says to that

Ok, I have been communing with my spirit guides. la la la la la la ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

they speak to me... they say... what do they say? Ooooh, did you feel the tablecloth move? MinnieHaha is the first to talk... she says that she sees babies for everyone! Phooldyu is a little more specific. They have done their best, but they can only manage to see the future for five of you at a time. The problem is that they're moonlighting during their lunchbreaks, so they keep running out of time... yep, even in eternity you still don't get enough time!

So - this is what they tell me:

Sookie – I see the month of June being significant for you. This could be the month your cycle starts, the month you ovulate, the month you test, or the month you give birth. The spirits tell me the baby will be a girl, although the dungarees and cowboy shirts you dress her in will confuse most onlookers. I think you will find that this girl will grow up to be very strong-willed and argumentative, but only with you. She adores her daddy, who spoils her rotten. I see her growing up in a country different from that in which she is conceived, but one in which she feels at home. I think you will find that she enjoys travelling, and that you will worry about her safety. She will be independent, but thoughtful and generous. I think you will find that she becomes a cosmologist. She would have preferred to have done something with make-up, but her parents refuse to fund her unless she does an academic course...

Chrissy – Phooldyu tells me that March is an important month, and that the baby will be a boy. I think you will find that he likes running around and playing football. He will be very interested in frogs, snails and creepy-crawlies. i think you will find yourself doing a lot of laundry. He will grow up to do a job that involves driving - at least to work and back. When it comes to marrying, I see him closer to 35, and only because your husband kicks him out of the house.

ROM – April will be your lucky month, say my spirit guides. This could be the month you conceive, the month you find out in or the month you give birth in. Phooldyu tells me the baby will be a boy... MinnieHaha says the other one will be a boy too. Lucky you! Both boys will be quite small at birth. They will cause you a lot of worry, but will be perfectly healthy. They will look up to two important male figures in their lives. One will become a lawyer, the other will be an accountant. Between them they will have five children.

Choklatemunky – The spirit guides say May is significant for you. this could be the month you conceive, the month you find out, the month of your 12-week scan or the month you give birth in. The baby will be a boy. He will be mischievous and loving. I see him doing something with his hands - either mending things or using a computer keyboard. He will be laid-back, and will only do things he really wants to do.

TrudyScrumptious – MinnieHaha and Phooldyu say that February may be the month you conceive, find out, your lucky cycle starts in, or the month of your EDD. They see a girl, who is quite quiet, but very capable and organised. I think you will find that she is family-orientated, enjoys team sports but sometimes needs a bit of a push to get on with things. She will be very close to her father, but will also enjoy doing girly things with you.

Well, I think that was quite a rewarding visit from our spirit friends, was it not? Shall we turn the lights back on now? anyone else been contacted from the other side recently? Do tell!

CB23 - sadly he knows me too well! He also knows we only 'do it' because we have to to conceive - there isn't much pleasure in it for me :( I keep reading that orgasm is important in boosting chances of conception, in which case I'm stuffed (or not :moon: ) but I think there are enough cases in the world of pregnancy without orgasm that I don't need to worry too much about that!

Oh of course, soryy I wasn't thinking. And I think the human race would have died out if orgasm was necessary!

Hi everyone

The witch got me today-which explains my bfn yesterday. Oh well, that is 3 months now of 26 day cycles, I seem to be getting positive opk's around day 14-15 so this month we must bd like crazy-well we thought we had done enough this month for a positive result-obviously not :(

Ive ordered my thermometer from babymad on ebay so that should be here this week and I will be able to start charting properly!

Sorry AF arrived for you scones.

I am thinking about trying agnus castus. Has anyone on here tried it?
I don't know if you can start it during your cycle or is it best to wait until the next day 1? Or maybe I should wait and see what this cycle does itself!
Hmmm

Loola - TTC is such an emotional time for us all. I think you're very brave though......I haven't even dared to pick up a pregnancy magazine yet because I know it will upset me.

Thanks Chrissy  I have put the magazine away in my drawer to read as soon as I get that BFP! :cheer:

I have been absolutely mental today. I reversed my car into the back of another one, well actually we both reversed at exactly the same time. In Tescos again (obviously I was not supposed to shop today) I was so busy looking either way at the cars waiting to get into my spot that I didnt notice that the car behind me was reversing too! It was only the slightest scrape though and the other driver blamed himself as much as I blamed myself so no insurance details were exchanged, thank god.

After all that got home and my OH and I had the biggest argument about TTC and how it has changed our relationship. We have made up now and I think it was good as alot of feelings are now in the open and I feel I can talk to him more about my unneccessary worrying.

I pray that its my hormones thats making me so scatty!

Scones    I know that feeling - 'we did it at the crucial time, what more are we supposed to do?'. Take heart, the lovely ladies who have moved over to first tri show us that it can be done and in the meantime you have us for company and compassion. Good luck with the temps!

Loola, why don't you and OH take some chill time? A weekend away or a day out tomorrow. It seems to me you're both getting very het up about ttc and I know we all are but you can't let it spoil the love you have.

As for the pregnancy magazines I bought one whilst pregnant then hid it because it frightened me  I ordered OH a 'Haynes baby manual' thinking how funny as he loves his old cars so always has his haynes manual to hand. ordered it from amazon and it was delivered whilst we were on holiday, the holiday where a scan confirmed we had lost our LO. I've put it away and I'm hoping that we can look at it again soon.

Claire  I think you are right about us needing a break. I was going to secretly book a long weekend away over Valentines day weekend, which coincidentally would have fallen on my Cheri22 prediction date of Feb 16th  but the silly moose at work has already got it booked off  so I cant. Meh! Im going to browse cheap holidays though for another date.

Ill have to book some time in April, May and June as minniehaha and phooldyu have told me I could conceive sometime around then! :rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I don't know how Minniehaha and Phooldyu did it  Undoubtedly true spirit guides. How else would they have known that our LO would take after us so much? Travel? Being conceived overseas but returning to a country in which she feels at home! My gosh! Have I mentioned that I live in Colombia but am Australian?? It's uncanny. And how did they get argumentative? I'm baffled with that one.

Well I have spent the whole day working - catching up on my studies and then planning etc for school. So despite my good intentions to contact my spirit guides - their names BTW are Juan Carlos and Jose Enrique - I didn't actually find the time.

(yes they are Colombian. Guides of other nationalities don't come here for fear of the mafiosa guides demanding protection money from them to defend them against the evil spirits and corrupt politicians. And yes, sadly this could mean that they are either compulsive liars or just don't show up for work)

So I promise to get on with it tomorrow, for whatever that is worth coming from a temporary Colombian resident.

Funny isnt it-the day I get my af my next door neighbour has her baby. Im happy for her, baby boy was born healthy, but she smokes a lot, all through preg, didnt even try for a baby and heres me...... :(

Gutting isnt it Scones  I felt enraged when I found out that my best friend until I was about 18 had had her second baby. We stopped being friends as I could not handle her heroin addiction, I know that sounds harsh but trust me I did everything I could to help her and all she did was steal my stuff and try to shag my boyfriend, whilst making me out to be a slag in front of people! Anyway, I shall get to the point, She has 2 children, a beautiful daughter Leila that I helped deliver! and was born cold turkey :( and now a son who was born prematurely poor thing. He was born prematurely because she has been a heroin addict for 15 years now and didnt stop taking it throughout her pregnancy, aswell as smoking and drinking no doubt. She shouldnt be allowed to keep those poor kids, they will always come second to her need for smack. It just seems so unfair that I cant seem to conceive because my OH has been on anti-depressants and is overweight, but she can conceive being a heroin addict, and with a heroin addict as the father too! :x There is no justice in the world!

Sorry that was quite a rant!

 scones and CB23

 good luck Loola - you seemed to be very positive for thsi month until your tescos incidents.

Kitty! - now come on.....the month I conceive, find out in, have my 12 week scan in or give birth in! You are so cheating now.....that covers conceiving in April and May, finding out in May or June, also concieving in Feb/March (as 12 week scan would then be in May - depends on how my dates work out as to which of those are right) - also giving birth in May gives me what, July/August as a conceive month...are there any months actually left! :rotfl:

Are you still basing your predictions on statistics? - mine are based on the first thing that comes into my head - so it will be interesting to see whether statistics or intuition wins out!

Sookie - I think Cyril and Bob are a little scared of your spirit guides!

kmac - If I was you Id let this cycle do what it wants to do and then maybe think about supplements etc next cycle - that is what I intend to do (based on what happens with this cycle)

Chrissy - Yeah, maybe we do all need to get out more! :rotfl:

Hi Guys,

Ok I plan to stalk and mediate between ours and the spirit world after I have my coffee here (I switched to decaff this week :cheer: am proud of myself) but I have to ask you to please have a quick stalk of my chart if you can!

Woke at 4:40 and my temp was 98.41. (36.89) Went back to sleep and woke at 6:40 (usual time is 6:30) and temp was 98.67. (37.03 C) I used the temp correcter as I hadn't had 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep, and it gives me 98.65 (37.02). Well Fertility Foe goes and moves Ov to CD 41! What cheek!!!! There was no BDing then :wall: :wall: :wall: I had some watery cm on that and a day after. I took that out, as I am not sure that you would call it watery (but maybe you would... ) and so it moves it to CD 43 with bold cross hairs!!!!!!!! no dashes! ARGGHHHHH.

So I take out that other day of watery cm, and it moves me back to CD36 (the original prediction - had been on CD37 for a while now), and readjusts my coverline to the original low one of 97.1 = 36.2 C.

What do you think???? COuld I really have Oved in sometime around CD 42? I thought the thermal shift looked clear, even with the higher coverline of 97.6... Why does it want to do this? :wall: :wall: If it had left the Ov day as CD37 then the rise would clearly be 0.2 degrees, like in other months too.

Need some advice guys. Help!

Afternoon ladies!

Hope everyone is feeling good today!
I had the best nights sleep ever and it seems to have made all the difference to my mood / worry levels! :D
I still woke up at 6am to take my temp which was pleasingly low so I feel more like there is a chance my bits and pieces are functioning correctly!
Hope so anyway..... it won't be long before I'm stressing again!

Loola - are you symptom spotting lots? When are you going to test?

Sookie - I had a look at your chart. I would say day 37 looks good but I'm definitely no expert!

Kitty - any sign of proper AF yet? Good luck at docs tomorrow anyway.

Right, I'm off to do some housework now. I hate Sundays! At least we got the supermarket shop out of the way yesterday.
Will be on later as I seem to check back a disturbingly high number of times during the weekend.

xx

hello me again  Can i join you, you may have to help me a little at first but im sure ill get the hang of it quickly
