Wow February already!! Thanks Kitty for this you are a star.

I'm off out for the day to Birmingham shopping with a load of friends tomorrow for one of their 40th's - day shopping and in Selfridges champagne bar then on to a really nice Italian for dinner before we get the last train home - how exciting..... :D You will know if I have a drink by Sunday's temps!!!

Hope you all have a great day tomorrow and I promise I will stalk properly on Sunday x x x x

Wish u the best of luck this month girls

Morning all, lovely new thread thanks Kitty, I voted 3. I'm not sure what are spirit guides would say about that though :rotfl:

I'm gonna take advantage of the lovely new post of all our links and do some stalking, however in the meantime my own chart has been declared by FF to be triphasic, I feel very proud :rotfl: however extremely doubtful that it is a pregnancy triphasic chart.

ROM you got your crosshairs :cheer: hope you're having a fab time supping champers!

Kitty using OPK's on day 6, I like it, leaving nothing to chance after last months early ov

Sookie is today your official test day? I know you had a bfn the other day but are you going to test? Fingers crossed that the last test was just too early although I know you have mixed feelings about having the baby where you are now

Shellbham been reading through your ivf thread, good luck with teh scan today, hope those follicles are developing nicely :D

Trudy hope you're getting the bding in, don't forget Prof Winston said sperm can last 5 - 7 days inside you so its never to early to try

And exactly the same thing for you scones!

Chrissy you must be close to ov now, fingers crossed for that line on the OPK. Weekend ovulation, you lucky thing :rotfl:

Loola love I'm sorry she got you  hope you have a less stressed cycle this time, lots and lots of luck!

KMAC OPK's from CD3, that's dedication to POASing  hopefully you'll get you + soon too.

kaykav how you getting on with the agnus castus? Any signs you may ov soon?

Choklatemunky I can't get over how flat your chatr looks, I'd lve a chart like that, in the first half of my cycle my temps are all over the place!

Sorry to those I haven't stalked! But I'm off for a wallow in the tub with some lovely sanctuary mande lular bubbles!

Morning all!!
Nice new thread - will try harder to keep up to date with everyone now!

Can you experts please look at my chart and tell me if it looks like I have ov'd? From the temps and CM i think I might have, but opk's have been a negative all along. I have decided I don't like opk's!! Will keep going with them this cycle, just in case, but then will try and stop using them. They stress me out!

Right - I'm off to get dressed. My friend (heavily preg - with twins!! - maybe I could have one?) is coming round in a bit.

Have a good day everyone! Will check back later to see what's happening!

HI EVERYONE!!! I seem to have woken full of the joys of Spring today! Very strange indeed but makes a nice change to seeing my usual stroppy face in the mirror!

Thanks for starting a lovely new thread Kitty!

AF is here with full force and making me feel quite rough, but I am excited as I had 2 parcels in the post this morning, first were the fertilaid that Babydust sent me :cheer: they arrived in perfect time for me to start my new cycle, the second parcel was a book called 'Before your Pregnancy' which is a 90 day guide on what both men and women should eat, drink, what exercise we should do for the 3 months leading up to conception. It should help you conceive a healthier baby and decrease the risk of complications once you become pregnant. Its probably stuff I already know about but I like to have a book to refer to. :D

Im going to visit a friend for lunch in a couple of hours, she is suffering from mild antenatal depression bless her. Then later on Im going out with some other friends. Im going to drink a ridiculous amount of Sangria. My friend has already been told that If Im drinking Im not pregnant, so she will know and Im sure she will join me for a night of debauchery. She is my naughty 'bad influence' friend. Its so good to have one of those.

I also voted 3 in the poll! Its good to see we are all so optimistic! :cheer:

Kmac - Id say you had ovulated as well. Did you have any faint line at all on the OPKs? Hope your BDing catches the egg!

ROM - Yay for ovulation! Hope you have a fab day out tomorrow, that sounds like a wonderful day out. :D

Chrissy - looks like ovulation is nearly here! Hope your big mans little man is working now!

Sookie - AF not arrived? Any signs?

CB23 - A Triphasic!! Thats fab! You never know lady, that early BDing might have done the trick especially with the EWCM, and if it is true about the female sperm being slower, it could mean that you are going to have a girl! Or perhaps the male sperm just caught the egg in time and you will have a boy! Im excited!

Kitty - Hope your more chilled out attitude towards TTC works!

Good luck for everyone this month! Sorry I havent added you all but I really must get ready to go out. Who is going to be our first Feb BFP? :cheer:

HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY LADIES!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Hi Guys,

Well I couldn't help myself, even though my temp dropped a bit, and I tested. And so I got my second BFN for the month. :( Oh well, what can ya do?!

An American friend of mine here has been having AF troubles. She has been bleeding every day for weeks and weeks. She has been back and forth to the gyno (same one I see - supposed best in town).

Yesterday she had to go in for a procedure to have her uterine wall scraped. Anyway, when I called her to see how she was she said it was awful for so many reasons. The first room was unclean, the door was open when they were examining her, then the nurse pulled out her tampon instead of her, then they gave her an anaesthetic but she didn't know she was having one, woke up with just a towel between her legs, no pads in the whole hospital! Then there was a mistake in the system with her insurance and it said she was pregnant (not true) so it took 3 hours to sort out the bill before she could leave.

She said to me: I don't want you to have your baby here! Obviously she knows about ttc.

And DH and I agree. So DH and I are deciding if we will actively stop trying and start preventing, or continue trying but leave if I am pregnant after the first tri.

Some quick stalking opinions...

CB23 - your chart looks fantastic. You could be our first Feb BFP!

Kmac - sorry but it's too early to tell if you've Oved. You really need at least 3 higher temps. But it sure looks promising :cheer:

Ok, chao guys

Me again!
Glad you are feeling in a good mood today Loola! :)
Sookie - sorry you got a BFN. That sounds horrific what happened to your friend. I guess it would make you think twice about having a baby there.

I'm so excited at the thought I might have ov'd!! I hope so!! I am praying my temp stays up tomorrow. Then I would be in my first ever official 2ww!!
Loola - I had varying degrees of faint line on the opks, and it's still there.
Maybe I'm one of those people who gets faint lines most of the time?
Like i said - the sticks just stress me out so will try to stop!

Hi all,

Sorry Loola - wasn't ignoring you. We must have posted at the same time.

Sorry AF got you

No, no AF for me yet, but a BFN...

Have a great day out. You too ROM!

I think I'll invite my friend who had the horrible experience over for some vegie lasagne later. Everyone else has gone to Barranquilla for the Carnaval parades. It's the second biggest in South America after Rio. We went last year and that was enough for a lifetime!

God that sounds awful Sookie, your poor friend, hope she is recovering OK. Definitely not the place to have a baby. Sorry about your bfn :(

KMAC I agree with Sookie its too early to tell really.

Loola have a lovely day, it sounds fab!

Hey all,

So sorry to hear of the awful time your friend is having Sookie and also that you got a BFN.

Sorry AF got you Loola but it's a new cycle, new optimism for a Feb BFP.

CB23 - Your chart is looking great  you get a BFP

 all

hi all,

I'm sorry I'm soooooo lax this week! I've been working my @rse off trying to get the website up (we've got a couple of conferences coming up and we don't have a website at all...)

Sookie - your poor friend  Don't prevent - you know you can always go home if you get pg, so keep trying and see what God gives you! Things generally work out ok - if you're not meant to get pg till you get back to Australia, it'll happen naturally, if you're meant to get pg earlier, well, that will happen instead.

I feel slightly pissed so this is another short one  I'm taking the relaxng seriously - I had coffee yesterday morning and today and enjoyed it soooo much, and have been happily tucking into the wine we were given for our wedding last year! (Embarrassingly, we still have 6 or 7 cases of champagne sitting in the dining room, and we were given 8 cases of wine as wedding presents - and we're members of a couple of wine societies, so have a few more cases sitting around... it looks like we're alcoholics, and as I haven't been drinking much recently we've got very behind. Must Try Harder... :rotfl: )

I still haven't updated my chart and can't remember this morning's temp (I did write it down though) - but yes, I am doing OPKs every day. I need to know when I ov this month, because I need to book an appt for the tests on CD7... But I'm definitely resuming normal life until Easter now. I'm going to concentrate on training instead. Until I got ill, I was training around 20 hours a week, and though I'm not ready to go back to that level, I definitely want to get back into shape. I need to lose 4kg. Preferably from my thighs... I'm sure each of my thighs is the same diameter as my waist...

Out of interest, how much exercise, and what kind, do the rest of you do?

ok, I must go - DH cooked dinner tonight and I was so surprised and so grateful I stupidly promised him he'd get his reward later  He was so sweet, he said 'but I thought you're not going to ovulate for another week or so?' :rotfl: Bless... well-trained, that's what I say! (though not that well-trained - he last cooked dinner in October, and that was microwaving lasagne I'd previously made and frozen!!) We're off to a wedding tomorrow, but I'll TRY to stalk tomorrow morning!

Morning everyone!!

Kitty - I will answer your exercise question... not enough and not that often.
I go through phases, but I detest going to the gym, even though I have one a 3 min walk from my house!
I have one of those lateral thigh trainers and hand weights. When I am being good I get up half an hour earlier in the morning and go on that. It definitely works. Must get started on that again as have holiday booked for July now so have to get flabby thighs under control!!

I am pleased to say that FF has put lines on my chart!! :cheer: :cheer:
They are dotted though because my opk's don't confirm it, but I think I can live with that. Stupid sticks!! Am especially pleased as we seem to have BD'd at exactly the right time.

My question is do my temps have to stay above the coverline now until AF? Or maybe no AF... let the symptom spotting commence!!

What's happening with everyone else? Obviously I have the least interesting life out of all of us as i seem to be on here rather a lot!!

Morning ladies!

Kmac - I never have lines as strong as the control line on my OPKs. Whether its because I dont test at exactly the right time, or perhaps because I drink alot of water now to help achieve EWCM Im not sure, but I always put + on my chart for when I get my strongest line.

Sookie - The thought of that hospital made me feel queasy reading it. :? I hope you get pregnant soon so you can leave!

Kitty - I do very litte exercise. I have asthma quite badly, so If I run anywhere I have an attack. So I just walk, for about half an hour a day along the seafront (Im very lucky to have a seafront to walk along I know!) I walk very briskly so that I can really feel my heart pumping. Other than that the only strenous thing I do is housework. Ive never been the sporty type. I would like a bike though.

Hope everyone has had a good weekend so far. My night out last night was a complete disaster. :( So much for me attempting to let my hair down and get drunk. The night started well at a lovely pub. Had good company with my OH and my best friend and her bloke. Then as the evening progressed, everyone that me and my OH wouldnt want to see if they were the last person on earth showed up. Firstly his nutter ex, who spent the entire night with her bitchy sister giving me stinking looks. Get over it you stupid bints! I have been with him for 2 and a half years and we are engaged and trying for a baby! :x Then one of my ex's turned up, that was fine as he is a nice bloke, but still added more intensity to the situation. Then another one of my OH's ex's turned up who is nice enough but just cant seem to help herself when it comes to flirting with other peoples boyfriends, so that really pissed my friend off :? to top it off our old Landlord showed up who reckons we owe him money, which we really do not and we are refusing to pay. So that was the final straw. I only managed 2 glasses of Sangria, my OH had drunk the rest of 2 jugs to himself and was sozzled. He was in an obnoxious drunk mood, due to the awkwardness of the pub, and the pub was full of happy Welsh people as they had beaten England in the Rugby. Both me and my OH are English, my OH decided to start shouting about how pathetic the Welsh are, and shouted English chants. I could have died. So I left before any fighting started. :( My OH then had the cheek to tell me Im too uptight! So we went home and had a huge row. We have made up now though. This is why we never go out. I must remember this for future reference. I wish Id stayed in with a bottle of wine now.

Loola - sorry about your night out

I am very confused now - did an opk (it's hard to stop!) and the line seems stronger than i've had so far. :(
I'm confused. Everything is happening in the wrong order.

Any ideas??

It is possible to release more than one egg per cycle, this usually happens about a day after you first ovulated, so keep BDing as you might have a second chance at catching an egg!

Loola - sorry AF got you and sorry about your night out - sounds like a bit of a nightmare!

Sookie, sorry - that sounds awful for your friend!

Kmac - :? Dunno about that???!!

Kitty - bless your DH! Re exercise - I dont do much at all really  I used to go swimming regularly but havent done for ages - I do quite a bit of walking but not enough Im sure - My excuse is taht Im burning my calories off at the moment with all the BDing!

CB23 - Any symptoms??!!!

Chrissy - hope the night away was good!

:? Well, it looks like I may have ov'd. Tbh Ive been having alittle difficulty telling what my CM has been this weekend - its been a little disguised shall we say :? (hehe) Ive bunged in W for now as that matches up with all the other stuff (OPKs, Ferning etc) - not sure whether to put EWCM as I really cant tell! Ive also been confusing myself with my double charting. Unfortunately I took my waking temp yesterday but never wrote it down - thinking Id get it off the thermometer later when I did my other temp as I was trying to get back to sleep. I took my normal time temp withouth checking the last stored temp on my thermometer and I really have no clue what it was = so that buggers that chart up and now theres a temp missing. My temp today is about the same as it has been for ages! (on my normal time chart) but on the waking time chart its gone up. I'll do another OPK today to check what comes up....There was a faint line on Friday, not as dark as the control line but an obvious line nonetheless, then a daker line when I tested at lucnhtime on Sat (Id say pretty much as dark as the control line so Im taking that one as a positive) then when I tested at the time I usually do (when I get in from work in the week) on sat evening the line was still there but looked to be fading a bit and was similar to the one from Friday. So, so far the Saturday lunchtime one was the strongest. Guess its a wait n see job!

Hope everyone else is having relaxing weekends!
:D

Morning

Loola what a nightmare - its a shame what you planned went so wrong :(

Chokolatemunky if you have beded a lot at least you will have all dates covered :D

Sookie it sounds like its a good idea to wait a while to have that baby - your health system out there sounds worse than here in England!

CB23 when you going to test?

Well my temp went up  just as expected....... hmmmm now how much difference will 1/2 a bottle of wine 1/2 bottle of champagne, ameretto coffee and a couple of large bacardi's make I wonder :rotfl: Good job we cant ttc this month else the poor egg would be pickled..... Got both a sore head and sore feet but I feel at least I got my excercise yesterday we walked for hours while my best friend was on a mission to buy her hubbie a pressie of sexy undies...... Dave is taking over today and cooking lunch so I am going to soak in the bath for an hour or so..... :D
