New month new thread eh?

How many BFP's this month do we think?

Can you ahve a look at my chart pls? FF says I OV'd on CD16 but I think 14 as all the other signs point to CD14 and I usually do OV on CD14 going of when I've used OPK's. It did say CD14 at first then changed it to CD16. I've just done that couse on FF and it mentioned a fallback rise after OV due to reamin estrogen which may cause a temp drop just after OV which is what I think may have happened to me. What do you ladies think? Is there any way I can override what FF had said and change my OV day manually? Or should I just leave it? I just have a feeling that I did OV on CD14 like it said in the first place

Ooo and the weeks worth of spotting I usually get starting CD21 hasn't appeared yet

Hey all happy 1st of march!!!! Well i know im gearing up towards OV now albeit a few days or so away im just hoping we catch this time Thankfuly the sickness etc ive had is gone so we gearing up towards getting down to some BD'ing!!!

Mmmm FF i noticed has got my poosible fertile days down as today, sunday , monday ,tuesday with possible OV day wed i didnt think i OV'd as early in my cycle but i must say i feel like im heading yowards that way as my CM's starting to change and im getting those usual OV pains I could be wrong though

Byw forgot to ask if this is the case how often should we be BD'ing then?

I've just altered the temp from CD15 that dropped because I took it earlier than normal so it's ended up just above the coverline and had now made my OV day CD14 again LOL.

Is it okay to do that or not?

Hi everyone

Good luck for this month to all!!

AF arrived late last night so back to the start for me!!

Was at a spa today with my mum - I got her a voucher for christmas - and it included lots of treatments. But, when we got there they wouldn't let her have any of them because she has had cancer within the last 3 years.... so it was a bit of a waste of time for her. I still had mine but couldn't really relax because I felt so bad for her. They gave me some of the money back. Got home to DH and burst into tears Must be my hormones.

Have had some chocolate now, looking forward to some wine later and DH popping out to get some Ben & Jerry's

Good luck to those in the 2ww, and if you're approaching ov get BDing!!!

Skairdy - I say 2 BFPs for this month, I hope for more than that of course. Id definitely say day 14 for your ovulation. I reckon its ok to change it, as it does make everything clearer. I think we know whats going on in our bodies alot better than FF does, after FF is going by data rather knowledge of your body. So you are 10DPO, good luck! Any symptoms yet?

Flossy - If your OH has a good sperm count then it doesnt hurt to BD every day, however, it does take a while for the sperm to replenish so it is advised to BD every other day for good quality sperm. If you have EWCM then the sperm will survive for a few days anyway. Good luck lady!

Kmac - that sucks for your Mum I understand how you feel. Sorry AF got you

I think AF is on her way for me, I have had my usual ovary 'itching' that I always get. That plus I have been an emotional wreck today. Ive cried for no reason on 2 occassions. I cant seem to be able to do normal things like drive my car when AF is about to arrive. I was exactly the same this time last month, remember my Tescos parking fiasco! Well I didnt crash this time, but I still feel really under pressure, like my blood could boil at the most innocent of things, like people watching me park.

I know AF isnt here yet, but I just know she will arrive tomorrow and I am so disappointed. However, Im only 2 months away from being able to see the Dr now, so I guess thats a good thing. I also must remember that it takes 3 months for new sperm to arrive, so my OH's healthy lifestyle wont have made a difference yet. At least Ill have a few charts to show the Dr too.

Yeah, I know we always used to miss our moment on the presumption that I would ovulate around day 14/15 of my cycle (as I have a 29 day cycle usually) I dont actually ovulate til day 17/18 so Im kinda hoping that was part of the reason why I havent got pregnant yet. I think thats wishful thinking though really. God knows what state Id be in if I didnt chart though. We never used to BD after my 'supposed' ovulation day, such a waste of so many months!

Surely 1 healthy sperm can find its way to my egg!! Is that too much to ask? Surely even if my OH has a low sperm count there could still be enough there to find their way to the egg? Please God

Also how long after OV should we keep BD'ing for? Trouble is we would until i approach AF but the o/h complains of getting too tired and its not like he's an old man for heaven sake

Tbh i really feel like giving in sometimes we have been ttc on and off since last january and nothing as of yet im begining to think either its something wrong with me Or and excuse me for saying but the o/h's a jaffa (Sorry wasnt trying to be funny there) But im running out of thought as to why?

Id say it is only necessary to BD on ovulation day or the day after, but as you cant say for sure when you have ovulated until you have 3 high temps that you have definitely ovulated, Id keep BDing, certainly whilst you still have fertile CM. I really should take this advice myself! I would happily BD every other day until AF arrives, but my OH sounds like yours, he's too worn out after a weeks worth of it

I wish we could go back to the start of our relationship again, you know like when you first get together and cant keep your hands off each other and spend all day in bed That would be wonderful. I really wish TTC was sexy, but its not no matter how hard I try, we both know Im trying to make it more sexy because I want to get pregnant and then I feel like a tit. No doubt if we did drugs, and got drunk every night Id get pregnant straight away.

Sometimes I think it would be easier to catch his sperm in a cup and use a turkey baster

I know what you mean loola before the kids it was all "Wild" and wonderful really exciting and now its like "do we have to" sort of thing i wouldnt swap the kids for anytihng but id like to go back 5 years and had what we had then now. But im the same very time we BD im only thinking of one thing and that too is getting pregnant and tbh i wish i wasnt as its not fun that way we need some excitement back again but im not sure how to do that

As to the OV thing all i want to do is The thought of BD'ing every other day til i know when im past that is even tiring to me And im not sure how to even notice that by my temps as im sucha twit with all that

We try to BD every other day thoughout but never usually manage it LOL. Rob's just turned 40 so thinks he's past it

I've had heartburn and acid reflux a few times and I'm really constipated and have made friends with Senokot At least I would if the darn things would work
Other than that, nothing.

I have just made friends with Senokot too. I get constipation really bad right after Ive ovulated all the way until arrives. I think its cos your progesterone levels rise after ovulation as it does in pregnancy.
I went for 9 days without going to the loo a while back I always look about 6 months pregnant!

My temps look good now but Im expecting a big drop in the morning.

i like march its my birthday on the 26th i will be 31 i also have the consultant that day to find out what the hell is going on with this body
i agree ttc takes the fun and wildness out of sex, its great to call it sex again rather than bd'ing even that word spoils it, i know me and dh havent stopped ttc for that long but its great to have sex again
