Chart Stalkers January 2008

Thanks rom.
My cycles aren't always 34 days, no. They vary quite a bit. that was just an approximation!! They have been 33, 30, 34, 43, 21, 24, 40, 38, 24, 23, 39, and 33 days since I came off the pill!
So it is highly likely I have still to ov I guess.
Where did I leave those matches....?

Hi all,

Lots of posts today.

ROM - Glad everything went well at the consultants. Really interesting what they said about the spotting though. I had spotting twice before getting a BFP with my son, neither were just spots on the tissue. They were both "shows" as she put it. Mind you it could be classed as an implantation bleed, a description of that varies hugely according to what you read and where.

I'm still spotting. It stopped completely last night, all evening. Gave me hope for a while but it's started again all day today on and off. It's not dark brown like last month. It's more light brown/pinky.

Very odd, that for the 3rd month running I'm having several days of spotting AND my temps were the same last cycle as this cycle when it started 36.69. I'm sure it's a progesterone problem. It's getting a good doctor who will listen and help me get to the bottom of it that's going to be hard. I fully expect AF to be here by Friday. :(

Chrissy = Sorry you got a BFN

Kmac - I get like this too with CM. Loads then I might get a day chucked in with absolutely nothing. It's weird. Keep BD'ing every other day. That's the best option with irregular cycles.

Loola - Sorry you will be taking a break from TTC for a while but it sounds like it's for the best. Continuing with the charting is a good idea.

Kitty - Keep changing between the different methods to see if it detects ov as the days go by. I used Advanced as most of us do don't we, and it took a good few days to detect ov as CD28 the day that I thought that I'd ovd on.

I've had pre-af spotting for the 3rd consecutive cycle now. Since we started TTC. I'm not taking any supplements. Did start taking B6 for a few days at the beginning of my cycle but my IBS flared up so stopped. Could be coincidence but each time I take supplements I get delayed ovulation. Tempted to try agnus castus but am resisting. My GP was useless last time but I'm going to go back because something clearly isn't right. I suspect it is hormonal because looking at my cycles written down on paper, they're all over the place. They're settling down into some kind of pattern the last 4 months or so, either being 38-40 days or 33 days (1 cycle).

My hormones are all over the place since having my son. So frustrating isn't it because if it is a progesterone problem, it can be resolved easily with medication. But getting medical help to find out is difficult.

wow lots to read tonight!!!!

Thanks (again) for all your replies every time I post, my oh doesnt know I even come on here so its nice to share with you, he wants to ttc as much as I do and knows I have the opk's but not that Im chatting to you lot :D thing is nobody knows we are ttc so I LOVE it here

Ok, Im on CD16 now and I have no line at all on the opk today but i did have ov pain yesterday when I had a strong line. Could I actually be ov today as that would sound about right, my poor oh is going to need splints for it

Hi Scones,

This place is a godsend isn't it. My friends all seem to fall pregnant really quickly, none of them had to use opk sticks or anything. They'd think I was a crackpot if they knew half of what I'm doing trying to get pg :)

It does sound like a good possibility that you've ov'd. Perhaps keep BD'ing for the next couple of days just to be on the safe side.

LOL, we don't half put our DHs to the test don't we sometimes.

Good luck for this month x

Morning all,

Scones-Glad you put about your OH not knowing you come on here, thought it was just mine that didn't know

Chrissy-sorry you got BFN

Loola-hope that just because you are having a break we still see you on here

ROM-glad there doesn;t seem to be any tube damage. Your consultant sounds really thorough and nice.

baby dust and {{{HUGS}}}} to all that need them

Well, I had a drop in my temp yesterday but it has gone back up this morning.
repeat after me:
I AM NOT sympton spotting...... :wall:

Morning all.....

AF arrived in the night so I'm cheesed off, upset and in agony! :x

DH is going to do his test this weekend but whatever the result we've decided that we're going to see the docs now. I know it's not been 12 months but the doc doesn' know that and I'm 30 and DH is 36 in a few weeks so it's not like we're getting any younger.

hope everyone else is ok

Really sorry Chrissy - you are no age ( I'm 42 in March!!!) but it cant hurt to see the doctor sooner rather than later - at least it will put your mind at ease.....

Hi everyone!! Sorry I was cut short from writing all I wanted to last night as I was blocking someones car in at work

Chrissy - So sorry AF got you, I really hoped this was your month  Good luck for when you go to the Docs.

Scones - Sounds to me like you ovulated yesterday. Hope that your egg is being fertilised right now! :cheer:

Bagpuss - Your chart is looking really promising, hope those temps stay up!

Gypsy - Your temps are great too! Hope they stay up  Ill definitely be sticking around to keep charting and stalking you all.

Kitty - Glad your cycles are back to normal and you have ovulated. Hope your temps stay up! :D

Hi to everyone else  Hope you are all well and getting loads of BDing done.

My OH was alot happier yesterday thank god. We even ended up accidentally BDing just because we wanted to and not for babymaking purposes, which convenientally happened at my most fertile time! I havent ovulated yet but should do soon. We are still not going to actively TTC but you never know when we might hit the right time! :D Im alot happier now. OH always says Im only happy when Ive had sex, and he is completely right.

Thank you!! I hope hes up for some more tonight, but Im not going to pressure him at all. I just want to take advantage of my EWCM, Im producing it like a factory!

Hi all,

A quiet day on here today.

Chrissy - really sorry your AF has arrived hun, it's so upsetting.   Definitely get yourselves to the docs, good luck with it. My DH is going to do his fertility test this weekend too.

Gypsy - You're chart is looking great! Fingers crossed for you this month.

Loola - I bet BD'ing was a lot more relaxing too as you BD'd just because you wanted to. Good luck all the same

Same old with me, still spotting :(

hey all,

Chrissy    Do go and see the doc - and take your charts.

Looking good Gypsy

Bagpuss, your temps are actually looking really good, despite your spotting - for you

Scones, are you thinking of starting temping at all?

loola, go for it, girl!

ROM - glad everything went well with the consultant, and thanks for the spotting info. Going by that, I 'showed' rather than spotted for the best part of ten days - every day I though AF was going to arrive properly within 24 hours, then I realised it had stopped - and I had a +OPK. So weird. Anyway - have fun this month, and I'll  for a Valentine's baby for you!

Sookie, how are you doing today?

 to everyone else - and if I've missed interesting charts, let me know!!!

My temp went up a bit more this morning to 36.59, so I'm now 99.9% sure I've ov'ed. It's close to top of the post-ov range - and the only higher temp I've recorded (of 36.64) was with the old thermometer which rounded up to the nearest .x4 so is a crap guideline anyway. It would be nice if the temps stayed up, but I hold little hope for this cycle. I think there's a chance I ov'ed the day before the CH, but as it was the last day of AF, and I didn't do an OPK, I don't know if the OPK would have been positive. Anyway, I was in Paris at the funeral all day from 6am to midnight, no way would I have been in the mood for BDing so it's irrelevant. I'm pretty relaxed about it, just glad that ov happened a fortnight earlier than expected cos it means I can go back to the doctor sooner and he can run some tests. Wouldn't describe this as a normal cycle though!

off to cook DH's supper and prepare his packed lunch for tomorrow. He's still at work  , thinks it'll be a late one tonight, so I might treat myself to an early bath :) He's off on a stag weekend this weekend, so a) I'm so happy ov has happened and I don't need to worry about missing anything and b) I am SOOOOOO looking forward to a quiet night in and the bed all to myself  I'm going to buy my favourite foods (scallops, which DH hates so I never cook), watch a chick flick DVD, have a bath and a face pack and all that stuff and go to bed early! Roll on Saturday already! :rotfl:

kittykins, I havent started teming yet-im trying to rely on my physical signs and the opks. Thanks for asking though hun.

Chrissy-sorry af got you xxxx
loola-you go girlie

Im on cd 17 so 9 days to wait now....im feeling very bloated today and have a headache all day long, very annoying. Im worried if I go to the gym too that I might cause pg not to happen :|

Hi all
My temp went up a bit this morning but I don't know if it's enough to be classed as a proper rise. Will see what it does tomorrow.
One of the boxes on ff says ov may have occured during days 4-12... i don't think so but I guess once AF turns up I can work out when ov would have been. My temps were all over the place at the start of the month because I was ill, so it's probably confusing for the analyser-thingy!
Had a couple of days off BDing but will get back to it just in case ov about to happen. Still no cm though, and only faint opk lines. :|
Feeling a bit more positive now. Decided to assume I do actually ovulate, just need to work out when!!
Hope everyone is ok. Off to bed now - so tired!!

Hi everyone and thanks for your encouragement! :D

Bagpuss, your chart is looking fab, Im praying your temp goes up again tomorrow, that would make it a perfect triphasic chart, and so promising. Fingers crossed for you hun

Kmac - Doesnt look like ovulation rise to me, but then I dont really know anything at all! Certainly without the CM or positive OPKs Id say ovulation is still to happen, though you did have fertile CM earlier in the week so its hard to tell. What are the squares (instead of circle) points indicating on your chart?

Scones - Hope the next 9 days goes quickly for you, I hate the 2WW, seems to drag forever. Hoping the headache and bloatedness are good signs. I wouldnt worry about going to the gym as long as you are not doing anything too strenuous. Good luck lady!

Kitty - Definitely looks like ov to me (look at me pretending I know it all, lol). Hope you caught that egg  Sounds like you are going to have a wonderful night in!! I havent had a girly night in to myself since, well, time began! I LOVE scallops too!! Havent had them for ages, you have reminded me that I must get some in.

I know what Im treating myself to this weekend though. Have you seen the new M&S advert? 'This isnt just blah blah blah, this is M&S blah blah blah', well the pain au chocolat bread and butter pudding with belgian chocolate looks like the best thing ever, so Im gonna splurge tomorrow night! Yumma!

Well, I got another night of BDing!! Wooop! :cheer: All down to him again too! Though my OH is about as blunt as you can get. His exact words were, 'fancy a fuck? Ive got a 5 min slot before Im playing Project Gotham 4 live on X-Box'. How could I refuse such an offer! :rotfl: especially a whole 5 mins, what a treat!

Im glad I got some BDing done anyway, even if OH has a low sperm count at the moment, I hate wasting a possible chance - dont think I could really stop TTC, its all I think about! Im just not trying so hard anymore ( :fib: ) .

Right ladies Im off to  . Good luck to everyone thats BDing right now, Im thinking of you! For those of you in the 2WW, hope it doesnt drag for you and those temps stay up. :cheer: For those with AF, hope she goes away soon and stays away for you next cycle. Night!

Hi girls,

Well CD36 and still no Ov. Probably an anov cycle, although I am making a fair bit of EWCM. No ferns though. Oh well, whatever

Kitty - wow. i can't believe you Oved so early. It seems that the norm around here is just not the norm that we are all told about in school hey? Do 28 day cycles even exist at all??? Well enjoy your solitude, face pack and scallops. Sounds nice.

So sorry AF came Chrissy. There's just no justice out there is there? That chart was fooling us all.

Loola - didn't think you'd be able to stop ttcing. Sometimes we just need to take a step back and put things in perspective because as long as your BDing, then you're doing all that you really need to. It's easy to forget that I find.

Kmac - hope the temps keep rising.

Bagpus - not over yet. The temps are looking ok.  ing for a BFP for you.

ROM - glad to hear the NHS is making up a little bit for what you went through by giving you a great consultant now. I hope you get back to normal really soon

Still not symptom spotting Gypsy???

Hi Scones, CB23, Babydust  and anyone else!

Well gotta go, it's late and being back at work has been hectic. Had to sit through 6 hours of meetings yesterday   A pain in the behind when we have all had to move classrooms, set up and have planning to do.

Good morning everyone - and woohoo, it's Friday!

I'm sitting in my study waiting for it to get light enough to go for a run - I'm a wuss, and don't like running in London in the dark! Then again, I get even more scared of running in the country in the dark! I'm aching all over, but especially my left hip - that's usually my body's way of telling me I desperately need some exercise, and I haven't done anything since before Christmas :( I've booked myself in for a yoga class on Monday, too, so I'm starting to feel virtuous already! :D

So, some stalking whilst I wait for sunrise...

Sookie, it looks like ov might be just around the corner for you - maybe this weekend would be the perfect opportunity to have some long lie-ins with your DH  ? Are you not doing OPKs every day? Irregular cycles are sooooo frustrating, aren't they? Either you hang on, and on, and on, and try desperately to keep yourself going, or the bloody egg takes you completely by surprise.

loola, if my DH said that to me, he'd get his X-Box wrapped around his face! Not that he has one... he had a PS1 some years ago, but after I nearly walked out on him he took it to the charity shop :rotfl: I was a bit surprised by such a drastic gesture, I'd asked him to cut down to no more than 2 hours a day at the weekend, and just one weekday evening, because I was sick of having a vegetable in the sitting room and of cooking and cleaning round him like a skivvy.

kmac - hmm  Yesterday's temp rise looks like it could potentially be an ov rise, but I'm not sure about the CM... could be a delayed rise (you could possibly have ov'ed a couple of days ago), but tbh with no previous charts to go on, we don't really know what's normal for you and how much illness may have affected temps. Your temps may have been so high from illness that the ov rise has been blurred... like mine would have been had I not known that my flu temps were in my post-ov range, and thus discarded them. Anyway, you're pretty well covered for any day, so don't worry too much  Just try to keep BDing at least every other day, and let's hope the temps rise soon.

Scones - don't worry about the gym. You're unlikely to prevent pg. If you trained really hard, it could potentially have an effect, but moderate exercise is fine - beneficial even. Make sure you have a drink with you, and don't allow yourself to overheat, that's all.

Ok, it's started getting light, I'm off out! See you all later!

GOOD MORNING LADIES.

how are we all today?
My temp has risen again and now the lines on my chart have gone from blue to red. Can someone explain what this means please.

 and  for all
