Awww hun, is horrible when we have grumpy babies for no apparent reason. Have you taken him to the doctor just for a quick check? I remember when my daughter was a couple of months old she turned into a mega grump. I was at the end of my tether for a few weeks so eventually took her to see the gp for a quick once over. Turned out she had an ear infection poor mite, after a course of antibiotics she was back to her happy self again. She ended up suffering recurrent ear infections for many years and the only way I knew was her pure grumpiness. It's always worth a visit and personally I'd ask for a female doctor lol, they just seem to be more sympathetic
Also have you tried co sleeping? This may have been asked before and I missed it. I know it's not for everyone, personally I have slept with Scott since the day he was born. His cot is shoved right up to my side of the bed with the dropside down so I can just pull him over for a cuddle anytime he wakes. It's a really good option for grumpy babies and moms who need sleep! Obviously there are guidelines so research before trying it. Of course feel free to ignore me if you have spoken about co sleeping before
Crossing my fingers that you get some sleep hun xxx

Thanks Tambo, he went down at half 9 and woke up and cried for an hour at 1am. Ended up feeding him so he may have been hungry and I missed it, but he hasn't had night feeds for weeks. I was up with him for 90 minutes. He woke himself up pooping at 6 and then had another feed, settled quickly this time and then woke up at 10. I managed to sleep a bit better though, so slightly more human.
I love the idea of co sleeping, but it would be trying to persuade DH not to drink at the weekends, and I am also a very restless sleeper so I don't think I would feel safe doing it. And also a hug from mummy rarely soothes Evan
Might see if we can get a check up with the docs tomorrow just to rest my mind xxx
