Oh V&B, was very excited for you initially. Come on baby Libby...sleep for mummy xxx

Ha ha Evan woke as predicted and was given boob. Second feed in 2 hours but hey ho! He fell asleep on my boob but woke as I put him down. I picked him back up and he stopped crying - SUCCESS! For the first time in days he has been comforted by me picking him up! I take the small victories everyday :)

Now roll on the 2 night feeds lol!

Picked up straight back to sleep result!

Yay for our clever babes Amy! Right I'm off to sleep.

Hello ladies!

Hope all babies are well...I think they all must be going through this horrid leap! Its not great!

I have a hospital apt tomorrow about 45mins away at 9am so OHs mum has taken LO for the night to save me having to get him there early tomorrow morning...I'm missing him loads:( lol only been a few hours!

Don't know if anyone remembers I mentioned ages ago it hurts for me to pee...I've had this since having Rhys so 19 weeks now got passed from pillar to post at docs eventually got a hosp app so I've to go for a scan tomorrow of kidneys and then next week getting a cystoscopy (DREADING IT) to see if they can see anything...they suspect maybe bladder stones but I've terrified myself into them finding something bad! Fingers crossed they will eventually get to the bottom of it tho fed up hurting when I pee lol!!

19 weeks of painful weeing...poor you! Hope they find out what's causing it.

My poor baby worked herself into such a state last night. Mother in law took her for a walk after dinner to try & get her to sleep. She came back half an hour later with a screaming baby. She'd been crying right from the start of the walk but she kept going thinking she could get her to sleep! She was hysterical when they finally came back. She half stopped crying as soon as she was in my arms but could only settle her with a feed in the end. She didn't even drink, just fell asleep exhausted. Why does my MIL always think she knows best?! Grrr!

On a good note, managed to find a door bouncer for 5 euros locally advertised so am picking that up today!

Knopk - that's must be awful for you. My dad cheated on my mum with her best friend when I was 14. The worse time in my life. If you need to chat just drop me a pm. I'll be thinking of you and your mum.

Well my OH coped. Just about, on his own lol.

I hate the leaps, 1-2 weeks before H is due to start one is always the worse time for us. This one is really long so in hoping he finishes it early.

Morning,

Well after a promising start it went downhill up approx every 1hr 1/2! Looking at it in the cold light of day just found bedroom window open so she could have been cold. She felt a little chilly last time I had her up.

Jmc fx you get some answers hun xx

Jmc - good luck today.

Well two night on the row H has woken around half 1 and all I've done is pop his dummy in and he's gone back off! Whoop whoop. He's then slept till 4!

Major clean up job this morning. Dusted the whole house. Just debating going for a walk around the shops or to stay in pj's? My mums off work today, I love my mums days off! :)

Also H's high chair didn't turn up yesterday so looks like I'll be making some phone calls today x

Hello ladies :D

Hope you all had a good bank holiday weekend?

Sorry to hear about these babies playing there mummies up at night, and fighting there naps! They know how to test us lol H is fighting his naps to in the day time, I'm lucky to get an hour out of him and at best 30 mins. But I can't really complain he's sleeping a lot better at night. Going down between 9-10 pm and waking between 4-5 am with the odd night were he'll sleep til 6am!!

We're having a bit of a grumpy day today tho, he's not pooped in a few days and is only taking half his feeds plus being sick a little. I think he's a bit backed up so gonna try a tummy massage see if we can't get things moving.

We went shopping on Monday, we bought H a high chair £79.99 from babiesRus but its lovely, reclines, different height positions extra insert for smaller babies gonna start sitting him in it at the table with us to get him use to it before weaning commences (which is still weeks away but I'm getting excited!) also bough him a new gym as he hated his other. It was a lovely cream teddy gym from mother care and clearly to dull for his liking. So he now as a space themed gym, the 2 cross over bars are joined by a rotating piece that makes the bars sway and the dangly bits move! I almost want to get under it myself! He loves it and will play for ages :)

I also got a babycook 2-1 steamer/blender! I had no need to get it as I own a steamer and blender but I love gadgets and so bought it in haste ready for the time to wean. My friend gave me a annabel karmel book with tips and recipes for weaning, so I'm gonna give that a read. And I've stocked up on spoons and little tiny bowels plus a silicone thingy to put portions on purée in and freeze not sure what its called!

Jmc-good luck with the result Hun, I always think the waiting is the worse bit!

Evan fed last night at 8, 10, 1, 6, 8.30 and 10.30. Feeds more at night than day. Also finally managed to speak to a hv about Evan's sick. She thinks ut might be silent reflux so doc will call me tomorrow afternoon. He's only sick during the day though but it's a good hour after each feed and smells really acidic.

We haven't had too many grumps so far but he did refuse to nap for longer than 10 minutes on our 1.5 hour walk. At least he's not screaming...

We've been taking LO swimming for a few weeks now - the teaching pool at our local is heated to 34 degrees...bliss, lol! We are going on holiday next week and I don't know how warm the pool will be, so I got him a buzz lightyear wetsuit

We are starting a sing and sign class in 2 weeks time - it's a 10 week course and the last class will be my final week off work...cant believe he will be 7 months old and I'll be back working...thank god I'm only going back part time :eh:

Started JJ on baby rice this week - 1 x tsp in the evening and this morning he also had 1 x tsp for brekkie too...we had a bad day yesterday and I think I trimmed his milk supply a little too much making him hungry (I shaved 1oz off each bottle to compensate for the addition of baby rice)...it seems to have worked perfectly as my happy gurgling bubba is back today :-) Emma - Annabel Karmel also has a fab App for your phone too! Love her recipes.

Amy - speak to MrsV...what she doesn't know about Silent Reflux isn't worth knowing about...xx
