***April & May Mummy & Baby***

My bumbo and door bouncer arrived yesterday, santi is a tight fit in the bumbo because he has fat stumpy legs, and tbh it wasnt as great as i expected it to be. The door bouncer was a big hit with them both though!

My two have had water in the past, but they dont really drink from bottles well and they seem toget all they need from me :)

How old do babies have to be to go in a door bouncer? Can't wait to get one for E. I think she'd really like it.

Morning lovely ladies, woke at 1.15 then 5.30 then 7.50 now laid on my bed having our morning play.

PP looks like jumperoo is loved there too, I want a go! :)

I have the tippeetoes one, and its half price in amazon right now! Says from 3 months if head control is good.
I have only put them in it for about 10mins at a time and they both love it!

I want a door bouncer think Rian will lovd it as he just wants to use his legs!! X

I'd love a door bouncer, but I have an open plan living room / hall way, so cant attach one to the frame sadly.

I was also looking at a jumperoo for JJ, but the way his weight gain is going, I would probably only get a few months use out of it! I'll stick with his baby walker for now and see how we go :-( xx

I spoke too soon last night. Evan woke up and screamed for an hour at half 9. Woke for 2 feeds in the night. Now screaming again as he doesn't want to nap. Seriously think he does not like me. Mummy cuddles don't work.

Sorry to hear that Amy - but please don't think Evan doesn't like you!! This 4th LEAP / the 4th month is apparently one of the toughest times...light at the end of tunnel will hopefully start shining through soon :hugs:

JJ is very unhappy today too...hasn't stop grizzling since 06.00am and I cant seem to do anything to appease him. All he wants to do is feed and cry...and naps and any semblance of a normal day are right out of the window...xx

Oh Amy  of course he likes you hun xx

Question ladies,

Libby was fast asleep in me, popped her in her crib eyes wide open went for a wee had some lunch and she's currently in there chatting to her mates. Do I leave her and see if she drops back off? Pick her back up and rock her? Give it up as a bad job go out and let her fall asleep whilst I'm walking her in the buggy?
I have nothing against rocking her to sleep and letting her sleep on me but sometimes mummy needs to wee and eat!

The chatting had changed to cooing now I'll give it 10 more minutes I reckon.

Hey V&B, if I put Joshie down for a nap, and he wakes having previously been asleep, I pop on his mobile, put his dummy back in and let him self settle - if he is still awake after 15 mins or 3 occasions of him grizzling and me having to pop dummy back in, I take him out and play with him for half an hour and try again. I don't want him to think that where he sleeps is also where he plays, if that all makes sense lol! xx

That's what I've been doing ish, I'll carry on.

We abandoned all hope and went out she had an hour in the buggy and is now having jumperoo time :)

Hope everyone is having a nice day. I'm off out for tea later with some friends , and I am being brave and leaving H with my OH. My OH has only ever looked after H for about 15 mins on his own whilst I went to the shop. Tonight he will have to put him to bed all by himself. I've been very organise. OH's tea is in the fridge, ready to be warmed up. I'll wash and dress H ready for bed before I go and I've expressed so OH can give H a bottle before bed and I've also defrosted some milk as an emergency spare bottle just in case.

It'll only be the second time I've not put H to bed myself. It's a good job I'm only going the local weather spoons which is only round the corner so I can be home in a few minutes if need be. My OH isn't very confident at looking after H on his own, even though I know he can do it.

.

Evan has been sleeping on me for the last half hour. It was a fight though. Silly mummy thought she could put him down the first time. He woke 5 mins later and another half hour fight happened.

If this is a leap it better bugger off soon as this is unbearable for both of us

I have been crying all day, this is on top of Mark being awake at.night again. I found out my dad has been cheating on my mum with a family friend and he somehow thinks its ok? I will be cutting him out of my life but there is a family business and my money are in.the house there too.
Its such a mess, what an a-hole he is!

Tapatalking so cant see signatures

I'm sorry that is really terrible. Families are horrible sometimes. I can barely deal with a crying baby at the moment let alone family issues. Sending big hugs :hugs: xxx

Knopk im sorry to hear that hun. Like others have said families are shit sometimes.

Libby's asleep in me after a battle of wills walked for an hour and 20 mins, got back won the battle of the boob had to rock and feed at the same time.

Evan has gone straight down after knockout boob. Although he did this yesterday and was awake twice before I had gone to bed.

Am I right in thinking the WW is based on 40 gestational age? If so it would make Evan just over 19 weeks and hopefully coming to the end of this bugger of a leap

Knopk - that's awful!! So sorry...sending you a big hug hun :hugs:

Families really can suck sometimes...hope you manage to get something sorted with regards to the money invested and the house xx

Amy - yes, WW is based on gestational age...so hopefully Evan should be out the other side in the next 4 or 5 days....? Hope so...we have 18 days to go!! :wall2:

Had a really shite day lol!! JJ has been so miserable and cranky...nothing would appease him at all. To top it off, DH was late home from work, so half way through dinner, I had to stop and bath and feed JJ...then go back to making the dinner when DH came in...could have gone completely wrong, luckily it didn't...did eat rather late though.

Here's hoping tmrw is a better day xx

 please please please only be 4-5 days of this left!!!

Wake up number 1 has already happened. DH to the rescue with magic dummy. If he does the same as last night he will be up again in about an hour and will need another feed.
