Afternoon ladies crappy weather here were at my mum and dads van for thd weekend. Rian is just not himself i think hes teething and hes really suffering bless him feel so helpless xx
My poor baby is on his third lot of calpol since his jabs yesterday. Only slight temperature but his head feels so hot compared to the rest of his body. He also has a penny sized red mark on his right leg where he had the jab
Bit of a better night last night, he woke at 1.48 and I popped his dummy in then woken to almighty pooping at 2.54. I couldn't get back to sleep for ages but at least he did.

Well OH and I did a bit if retail therapy today and spent a bomb on H.
The high chair we decided on was £47.99 at mothercare but £39.99 at asda so we got mothercare to price check it! Well chuffed with ourselfs. We also bought a jumperoo and a bumbo. H is still a bit young for them yet but he'll soon be big enough for them .
OH and I have a deal. Mothercare for me and halfords for him. So he then bought himself loads of car stuff - he's a mechanic, so that should keep him happy over the bank holiday
H slept a little better last night and has been in a lovely mood today so here's hoping tonight will be a good night.
Stargirl - we bought D a jumperoo last weekend and she loves it! Def a good purchase she spins the bits around and pulls on the monkeys, had to put a big book under her feet as they aren't quite on the floor yet!
I'm having an arse of a day. Really feel clueless. I don't think I'm picking up on any of Evan's cues, I feed him when he's not hungry, I put him down to sleep when he won't sleep. I just feel useless. I know sleep deprivation doesn't help me but this is rubbish. He has been grumpy all day and I can tell he is overtired but short of gluing his eyes shut (for health & safety reasons I will not be doing this before someone calls childline!) I have no idea what to do. This baby has not read the rulebook. Arghhh
Rant over. He's asleep now and I need a (small) glass of wine!!!
We had a great day out hiking in the mountains with the baby carriers! Babies were really well behaved whilst we had lunch out too. Finally feel like i can get back to doing the things i enjoy. Breastfeeding whilst hiking with an ergo carrier is possible
Nikki - breastfeeding whilst hiking in the mountains??? Seriously, you are SUPERMUM!! Lol
Well Joshie slept 12 hours overnight...had a bottle and promptly went back to sleep again!! Hubby has gone to golf, so its a PJ day for us - yay! Typical bank holiday weather!! Roll on mini heatwave this week.
Wow, hiking with twins Nikki, you look fab btw. I havent been brave to have a pic of myself yet.
Last night was the first night when Mark woke up at 3 and wanted to talk, shout etc. Thankfully didnt wake his brother up. I need an extra coffee today!
Still in bed watching c beebies, me and Scott having naked cuddles haha Scott has now mastered the art of being able to scream AND keep his dummy in! So bloody annoying, surely the point of the dummy is to shut him up?! Little toad, lucky he's cute
After his next feed gonna bundle him up again in his sling and go for a walk, I'm now officially 2 stone lighter and its all thanks to lots of walking, even my poor dog looks slimmer lol.
I have no words. I'm too tired for them. I got more sleep when Evan was a newborn. He is overtired from nights of waking and not napping during the day. I am barely able to function. I am at a complete loss.
Oh V&B and Amy...so sorry your LO's are not sleeping well
I don't function well at all on little sleep, so I really do feel for you both, sending HUGE hugs
Wish I could offer advice, but its probably nothing you haven't heard before and you don't need the same info thrown at you time and time again (I know how annoying that is!)
I hope you can turn a corner really, really soon xxxxx
V&b and Amy - snap! The last couple of days h has really fought his naps and has woken more in the night. He's also fed really well. I know he's starting a leap so am putting it down to that.
Today we have had a lazy morning. I've let my OH have a lie in and then he's taking my mum work. I think when he comes back we'll maybe go for a walk to our local starbucks for a treat
I'm sooo tired today, emotional wreck she's had 30 mins total sleep since she woke at 7.30 oh is taking her for a nice long drive in a minute. I'd rather she went for a walk in the buggy but tbh if she sleeps I don't care today. She looks exhausted but is cooing away.
Evan had 20 mins earlier but I have spent the entire day trying to settle him. Unless this is a big nap I know tonight will be a disaster. DH has done the housework so I can put my feet up. If only I was able to nap myself...
