I know, the internet is just so good! I can find so much I want all the time. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have the internet!

Mum2b410 - it's so annoying to have problems with the furniture! OH and I bought ours from mamas and papas, and just by chance they had one set in stock of what we wanted so we could take it. I think someone had ordered it but just never picked up. But I know loads of people, like my brother and SIL who have had loads of problems!

Hi, I haven't had that, but evry pregancy are differents and with differents symptoms. You should try to get advice from your mw or GP, just to make sure everything is ok.

I'm getting really mild period type cramps along with tightenings - obstetrician said all BH. Mention it to your MW or GP for peace of mind xx

Has anyone else's heartburn suddenly gotten really bad?! X I've literally been drinking gaviscon from the bottle, and its not really helping much x

YES!!! I was getting it just in my chest before, and only on the rare occasion, but for the last 5 days or so, it's felt like I've got acid stuck in the back of my throat! I've tried milk, but that's not working. I can't drink gaviscon because the texture of it makes me sick... So I'm kind of stuck really, because the chalky tablets make me really dehydrated as well and I hate taking them!

Yeah my heartburn is unbearable now, especially bad if i'm moving about.

I only seem to get heartburn with spicy foods just now, hope that don't start soon, even those chalky tablets make me feel sick!

I've had heartburn from the very start. Tried everything, nothing works for me. Just pretty much a constant taste of acid in my throat then when bed time comes, I lie down and have to sit straight back up again as I start to gag like I'm gonna throw up acid.
It did ease a few weeks ago so I could actually get a little bit of sleep but its starting to return again.

The old wives tale of having a head full of hair better be true because I'm expecting her to have hair all down her back nicely plaited due to how much pain I've been in with it! Lol xxx

My heartburn had gone away for the last few days but then decided to come back last night... think it went away because I was drinking milk and having banana smoothies all the time.. have stayed away from the tablets and such until now and would rather drink a litre of milk then have a tablet... Just hope it does not get unmanageable....
Seems everything gives me heartburn but white bread is the worst....

PP heard the same, am expecting a gorilla at the rate this heartburn has been getting me.

Nothing worked until I went to my GP and said he had to give me something for it, he did, it's called mucogel, it's thinner than gaviscon and tastes like peppermint. Not too bad a texture at all.

I really have no one to blame but myself, I drink coffee & irn bru in the morning before lunch, i'm my own worst enemy. Milk takes it away but hate drinking it all the time.

It shouldn't be like that, we pregnant ladies have enough to deal with without furniture issues!!.......We had further problems after I last wrote, which seem to now have FINALLY been sorted and after complaining (a lot) we are getting about £300 on a gift card by way of an apology which is something!!

Yes to the heartburn thing.......like ft90 it's now further up near my throat instead of lower down.......had some really painful burps!!......Lucky that it's not there everyday as was pretty miserable with a few days of it in a row!

My doc has prescribed me rialtadine or something for my heartburn, its working wonders so far!!! let's hope it stays this way x

On the plus side, my heartburn hasn't been half as bad as it as was yesterday! But my spd seems to have got worse today, just getting up off the sofa feels like I'm running a marathon!
