Mrs b you're hillarious! Overdue girls, I hope the sweeps work for you! Can't believe its June tomorrow! Just been to the shop - Omg how hard is it getting a newborn and yourself ready just for a 20 minute walk!? Had the quickest shower ever this morning because she started screaming, now my foof is in agony again! Need to Hoover and hang out washing before mum comes round and moans!

I'm starting to get really impatient now and im only 3 days over. Having cramp all the time. Like Cherelle I think my sweep this week might do something. My prediction on the first page of this thread was that baby will come between 2nd and 5th June so that would be between thurs and sat. Fingers crossed it works.

Mrs B - I just know I'm going to get someone in the ward next to me like the woman you had. When I was in being checked a couple of months ago a woman was being checked and she was screaming like on one born every minute, me and my oh were in the next bay trying to laugh as quiet as possible but cos I had the heart monitor on bump, the machine was going mental every time I laughed cos my belly was juggling up and down. The mw came in and I had tears running down my face. Karma will no doubt get me back and I'll be screaming hahaha x

Well girls you'll be pleased to hear the 2 pessaries did naff all! 3rd one just gone in, and I'm now munching on gammon and mash NHS style!
My bay partner has had no contractions all morning..but now its 1pm and rest period and partners have to leave for 2 hours she's again chowing down on G&A and complaining of sickness, then doing that little 'sick spit' in her bowl! My OH bless him has obeyed the rules and left the ward. Her OH has now been allowed to stay! Def shoe treatment incoming!!

oh Mrs B you are a star - you're in such high spirits and i know what it's like on that induction ward (3 days being induced with Josie)... it really shouldn't be much longer now for you...

... to all the other May Mummies still waiting - don't give up hope - it really can happen any time now... Sunday morning i was 10 days overdue and honestly honestly believed it was induction for me.. even when i had these tightenings ALL DAY Sunday (sometimes minutes apart) and ended up going to the hospital i was gutted when they said "nope - you're still about 2cm - no change since those sweeps during the week...

well that was at about 11pm and suddenly it all went up a level and and an hour later i was 6cm... i honestly thought i was going home with these silly "tightenings" to just wait for induction - 3 hours late baby was born... it really has still got time to happen before induction and i hope for you guys it happens soon...

can't wait to hear from one of you soon!!!!

Hello girls, good luck to everyone having their sweeps and inductions this week.

Cherelle don't give up hope it can happen I got to 11 days over and went into labour on my own.

I keep checking in but don't get much time to post on here. When we all graduate do we move to a may babies thread over the other side?

That's a fab idea - we can all ooh over cute pics and help each other out with our newborn problems and or chat in the night whilst doing night feeds!!

morning all... i've just slept for 7 hours solid and feel bloomin brilliant!!! Went to bed at 10 and Emma had just had a feed... hubby got up with her at 12:30am (didn't even hear him or her).

Then i woke up at 5am. Jumped out of bed panicking thinking "why hasn't she woken up!" and rushed over to her moses basket and she was fast asleep! She woke at about 5:30 and hsas just had bum changed and another feed and gone back to sleep!

oh the relief of sleeping continuously for 7 hours - no loo visits - no pains in my sides and bump - just heaven!!!! My bits are a bit achey still but bleeding has slowed right down (after passing a clot the size of a large rump steak!) So pleased we've got the rest of the week to enjoy with Ray off work and Josie on half term.

My best friend is bringing my pushchair round today which she has brought as her gift for baby - cant wait.. it's a 3-wheeler carrycot that changes into a normal 3 wheeler.. will put some pics on later!

ahw good luck all you may mummies still waiting - i'm so excited for you all and can't wait to hear all your labour stories... won't be long now x x x

Aww treeze I'm glad you got some rest!! I haven't managed seven hours in one go yet! Ella usually needs feeding every three or four hours but fingers crossed we are making progress because the last two nights she's gone five hours and then three hours so around 10pm, 3am and then 6am xx
