**February Babies 2012**

The labour and delivery ward is horrible. At least the mlu doesn't feel like a hospital even tho it's in the hospital.

Really really wanna go in there! My SIL can't go into mlu u as baby isn't full term yet  feel sorry for baby but she is only 6 days away from being fully cooked so she should be ok.

Hoping our Feb babies make an arrival this coming week otherwise they are pushing it closer to March babies. Hopefully we will have a busy forum this week. Hope it all doesn't happen when I can't come on. This was also my last weekend baby free and have spent it the same as usual. Been for a walk this afternoon but don't seem to have done much. :( xx

Hey ladies, just to pop my head I'm in to say thank you all so much for your support and laughter ( don't know what I would have done without you all!) looks like a lot if people are starting to pop now! Come on Feb babies! X

Hey verity!!!
hope baby ariel is behaving.....bet ur sooooo in love. have u posted any pics n Ive missed them? x

Ooooh not yet as I was gonna pop them in the birth story but I'll give you ladies some sneaky peaks lol! The first is about 3 minutes after birth, mummys first skin to skin! The second is little Ari being weighed! And the last is me changing him this morning in the hospital (the babygro is because Ariel means lion of G-d in Hebrew, so he's now our little lion cub! Which is even funnier that he is blond when hubby and I both have dark hair!). Hope cub and I finally get home today!

Beautiful photos, Verity!! :). Thanks for sharing - looking forward to reading your birth story!! Xx

Awww thank you so much ladies!

Carly - yep that was my choice! The other was Isaac but when he was born and DH cut the cord, he turned round to me and said I just cut Ariel's cord!

Isaac is a nice name too. Maybe ur oh realised that u had just gone through all of that, the least he would do was let u pick his name! Lol! Can't wait to read ur birth story!

Sorry to gate crash but just wanted to say well done verity and he is absolutely gorgeous! You must be so proud! Really happy for you hun xx

aww love the photos! Massive congrats - sooo gorgeous x

Soooo uncomfy today. Just been out for lunch with a friend, now back to feeling periody with the odd "contraction" - im hoping this "false labour" isnt gonna be going for too long - would rather madam would just get on with it. lol

Hows everyone else today? xxx

Well my naughty little Pip still engaged! Lol! Preparing myself for induction now. They r gonna try a sweep next week, but if he isn't engaged they won't do it because of the risk of cord prolapse. That also means no mlu for me but I just want a healthy baby in the end, I'm not bothered if I have to be induced, just want my baby to be safe and of induction is the way, then induction is the way!

So I'm now preparing myself for induction and thinking they won't be able to do a sweep because he isn't engaged. That way I won't be too upset if it doesn't work. In a way, I'm hopin they can't do it, so i don't have to have someone rummaging around down below! Lol!

Can you transfer back to mlu after pip is born if I have to be induced I can go to mluafter the birth which is good for us because mlu is 20mins away and hospital is 40 mins away xx

I don't think it will make much difference as the labour ward and mlu r connected. Would just be hassle to pack everythin up and move along the corridor! Think I'll be happy wherever I am as long as my boy is safe :)

I like your thinking Carly... I am trying to think like that too... Am booked for induction Thursday and am kind of resigned to the fact now that this little girl is going nowhere of her own accord, so induction is the only way of getting her out safe and sound. That is the ultimate goal isn't it - a safe and healthy delivery... However it comes about is secondary so long as LO is delivered safe and well. Xx
