Yay for Verity brightening up the forum a bit
I had KFC last night too. Been for monitoring today all ok, LO was asleep, and has been sleeping most of the afternoon i'm guessing as not had much movement, if doesn't pick up after think I shall make another trip to the hospital although I didn't want to today as OH is on shift tonight and will want him to come (which he will) but will want him to go on shift too as he loves his policing. xx

I cant stop thinking about food. I have steak for my dinner and its making my mouth water just thinking about it that is all xx

I've just randomly decided to have fish fingers and spaghetti hoops. lol - DH can have the left over chicken casserole from last night - proper food's just not doing it for me just now. lol

Not heard from Verity since this morning, so hoping she's busy pushing out her lil cub, xxx

I am very upsset my dad was making my dinner for me I wanted steak mash and leaks (My new fav food leaks I sat and ate a bowl of boiled leak lasst night lol) and cheese sauce. He put bloody mixed herbs in the cheese sauce (he thinks that hes a chef hes not hes a builder) and it totally ruined it ate teh steak and everything else went in the bin. so upset I was so looking forward to it. xx

Really getting inpatient now and hoping he comes soon, don't think the midwife has helped by saying she thinks he will be here soon xx

Havin strong BH's tonight which is causing lower back ache too. Hb also seems to have shown up again BH and back ache so sore had to get out of bed and wander round. DH is getting all excited bless him! I know it's probably nothing as not had a show or any niggly cramps yet. Not had period pain before so no idea what that feels like.

On a TMI note, the whole day each time I've needed a wee I've also had a bowel movement. Botty getting sore from wiping

Think I'm gonna be in for a long and restless night as Pip is playing up as well. He has taken a liking to sticking his knee out under my left ribs today which is quite painful!

Todays my due date woo hoo not that my little dude is makin any kind of effort to escape lol he'll be getting handed his eviction notice pretty soon x

I know what you mean, Zoe, when someone tells you something is likely to happen soon, it gets your hopes up... Let's hope she's right and this is your weekend!

Oohhh, Carly, you are so lucky that you have never had period pains! I used to have the pains from hell - I think that's what worries me most about contractions - I really can't imagine pain any worse that the period cramps I used to get (to the point I wold faint and vomit). The mild cramps I have been getting on and off this past week are SO mild in comparison, just like little twinges.

Last night I found a video on utube that shows you how to do foot / ankle massage to induce labour (only recommended when post 40 weeks), so had DH giving my ankles a good prod last night. We're going to try and do that several times a day over the weekend in the hope that it gets baby moving. Worth a try!

Pip's border arrived this morning so off out to buy some frames to make some pics for his wall. Then it's just dimmer switch to fit, a canvas we found yesterday to put up and it's all done

Have a lot of pressure down below today. hoping it's a sign of something happening. Hurts to walk tho but I'm still goin out! It will not stop me! Lol!

ok - just as i posted that from my phone in bed - i leaked down below - not a huge lot, but my bladder control has been really good so i dunno if its waters. it wasnt a huge gush, but enough to go through my knickers and leave a wet patch on the bed. - Have put a bad on, and am lying down cos i read that this can make it pool, so you get another gush. Got some period style craps just now was well - so maybe somethings happening. xxx

Well, Mrs Mc had agreed to do it. She's still on a fair bit with orlando, so i'll text her once ive worked out if it actually was waters to double check she's still ok for it. xxx

think i was getting excited over pee. - staying in bed for 45 mins and got up, and another wee dribble (sorry tmi), wandered around for a bit and another one ( but it kinda smells a bit) - so im thinking bubs has decided to move herself onto my bladder. not impressed. lol

Don't know what's wrong with me today sat here crying my eyes out and have no idea why

I don't know what it is that's making my cry. The only thing I can think of is that the realisation that I'm gonna have a baby has finally hit me, and hard. I'm not scared or nervous about labour and birth, I guess it's just the unknown after that. I don't feel depressed, just a tad overwhelmed I think.

After wanting to be a mum for 10 years and it taking us 2 and a half years with ivf being our next step if Pip hadn't have shown up, I can't believe I'm a day away from my due date with a healthy baby boy and a very excited husband.

Just had to get this out of my system, still crying! Typing with blurry eyes is quite difficult!

Ah Carly I bet you are soo excited to meet pip after waiting for soo long! Does sound like the realisation is setting in, i had one of these moments the other night. Started panicking that a little baby is going to be depending on me! Argh. x
