chart stalkers

OMG Reallyoldmum, I am so so sorry to hear your news! That must have been so shocking. So glad that you are alright though.

So sorry to hear that ROM. It sounds like an eptopic that has continued to progress, it really is a miracle you are not dead! Even an eptopic at a couple of weeks is very dangerous. Glad to hear they are taking it so seriously and doing what they need to do. Thinking of you at this sad time.

xx

oh rom  i am really sorry
:x bloody doctors, take your time to recover and make the most of being at your mums and rest  take care

bloody hell! I'm so glad you got seen - eventually. How horrendous for you. I really hope it all happens quickly - and am so glad you're now being seen by a consultant.

what an awful shock for you...

OMG, I'm so shocked to hear this ROM. Just goes to show how we need to stick to our guns with some of these doctors.

Stick to doctors orders and get complete rest.

Take care hun

ROM,that must have been such a shock. Can't believe they didn't do a scan before. Take it easy.

ROM  Thank God you got your scan. I am so pleased that you are ok. I hope you get a good rest at your Mums and that your future discussions with the consultant are helpful.

Let us know how you get on and take care

  OMG ROM how awful for you. I would ruddy well get down that doctors and give them a piece of your mind!! when you're better of course.

Make sure you take it easy and rest well for the next few days. We're all thinking of you

How is everyone else???

Hate to say it but even though my temp has gone back up slightly today I was getting AF pains last night so I think she'll be on time. I know she's not due until Saturday but I ususally get cramps in the few days leading upto AF so everythings running in perfect timing! :(

BLOODY HELL ROM.......that is just disgusting.

Chrissy, sorry to here you are having pains...... :(

I feel quite low today. Don't think i shall ov this month as it is straight after m/c, that isn't what is getting me down.....just one of those days I guess. Fell crap as well but can;t specifically but my finger on why. Perhaps I have a cold looming.

Roll on next month when I can chart properly and see what is happening with myself.

Hope everyone else is good.

Gypsy - I think everyone has had a cold at some point this month so that could be why you're feeling really down. Hope you're feeling back to your normal self soon. You should still ov this month, even after your m/c. I've read about women who don't even have another AF after a m/c because they conceive again in that first cycle so you should still ov

Good morning ladies,

Feel so glad to be out of hospital and that I am not loosing my mind!!! Thinking about what to do about the doctors - I am so cross that they didnt listen but on the other hand they have been my doctors for years and have always been so good - I hadnt been able to see the regular doctor until Monday of this week when she sent me up to the hospital straight away - it was the locoms they use that have been mucking me around. I think I will wait until I feel better and then make an appointment then to thank her and discuss the other stuff.....

Anyway I am just waiting now for things to happen - I have to go back on Thursday for more blood tests and then on Tuesday for more scans to check everything is breaking down.. Its quite scary but at least I now know what is going on....

Well come on girls we need some BFP's in December - Chrissy its not over until AF arrives!! I had AF type pains before I got my BFP.

Gypsy having a cold can make you feel really down so dont go writing this month off yet. :D

Babydust Becs has a really interesting thread about progesterone in this section she is lovely I'm sure she will give you loads of advice. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that the cream helps.

Mildly stop making me laugh - it hurts to laugh - the thought of your husband coming to work and you bedding in the toilet is just too much!!! Try not to worry about Oving - the more you worry the more likely you are to delay it :(

Kitty I really hope that your parents are ok and things are not too bad, good luck with the articles - I want you back stalking in full strength when I am ready to start ttc again!! :D I am just so pleased I have done most of my christmas shopping as I'm now stuck in the house and have been told not to drive for a couple of weeks. To top it all off I've just had a call to say the carpet fitters cannot do all the house as one of their men are ill - so Dave has told them just to do the lounge and bedroom today so I can get back in my own bed tonight!! :D

Sorry if I've missed anyone but I am my mum's laptop and she doesnt have a mouse so I'm finding it really hard to use!!

I'm so glad I've got you lot - you have genuinely kept me sane over the past couple of weeks x x x x

aaaarrgghh! Where's the scream emoticon when you need one?!

I spent an HOUR this morning (woke up at 5.45, realised I wasn't going to sleep again so got up!) stalking everyone's charts and writing my XXXL post, and then my pc switched itself off and started 'installing updates'! DH set it to automatically back up and update at 7am every morning - I didn't know. :x

I'm so sorry, but I don't have time to do all that again :( Please will you all assume I wrote lots of nice things to you all, and caught up with myself?! I am back stalking now, so hopefully will be on a bit more regularly - though I have to help out my parents tomorrow so may not be around then. The funeral's Friday. The friend was only in her 40s, 2 kids of 12 and 14. Every time I think of them, and what they must be going through now, I start  ing.

ROM, I remember reading your posts and wondering if it was ectopic - and then I think I posted sth like 'at least the doctor sounded thorough and gave you a good examination, so you can rule out ectopic'... To be fair to him though, apparently the vast majority of ectopics can be diagnosed from a manual examination, and he did tell you to go back immediately if you were in any pain - which is usually the first symptom of ectopic pg. It sounds like you were really unlucky for it not to be diagnosed, but that what made the doctor miss the diagnosis is what made you lucky with the outcome... I so hope it's all over quickly and you can move on. At least you know that where it was, it was never going to be a viable pregnancy, so there's absolutely nothing you could have done differently.

Well, I tested both thermometers at the same time this morning. The old one went up 0.3 degrees to 36.04, the new one went down 0.1 degree to 35.84. The old one is in my chart, as I didn't have the new thermometer on CD1. I'm thinking of creating a backdated chart for the new thermometer - it would look so different. I think I could start one in July 2007, before I actually started charting. Anyway, I've kind of lost faith in the charting thing. I can't trust my thermometer, the CBEFM doesn't work, and I've never had a pos OPK. Might as well just throw dice...

enjoy the rest of Wednesday! I hope AF stays away...

Kitty - :wall: it's so annoying when that happens with computers.... Mine is always doing that at work because I have too many progammes opened it.... makes me want to throw the ruddy thing out of the window. Hope all goes as well as possible at the funeral.... there's no such thing as a good one really! Can't believe your two thermometers are giving completly different readings...that's mad. I think you should throw the old one away and just start with the new on your next cd1. silly bl00dy things. Know what you're saying about throwing a dice...... I've taken to my last resort of buying that book and if that doesn't work I'm calling it a day and I'm stopping TTC and am going to spend my life travelling the world on cricket tours instead!!! :D

Chrissy let me know if the book tells you anything you didn't already know. And fingers crossed it works for you.

Kitty I have thermometer problems too - some days it gives me random readings - say .5 of a degree down, so I try again straight away and it gives me a more normal one. I think if it is cold it beeps to say it has the temp too quickly before you get a proper reading. It does my head in :wall:

ROM hope you are OK and can get back home today. Fingers crossed for the tests tomorrow too, it must be an awful time

I'm still spotting so can't even get my CD1 out of the way so very :x about that. Still the longer it takes to get CD1 the further away my ov day moves I assume and the more likely it is it will be after my parents have gone home :rotfl: I love them dearly honest!

Chrissy - what book is that? You've probably said and I've missed it  I've got the Weschler TCOYF book, and the Zita West one. I keep hoping that the more I read, the more I improve my chances of conceiving... DH says there's something very ironic about lying in bed reading TTC books. Less reading, more BDing!

CB23 - I wouldn't have known if .5 down was random, that probably accounts for my 6DPO 'implantation' dip!! Which thermometer have you got? My old one's from Access Diagnostics, the new one's from BabyMad. I had the same thing with the spotting last month. And then I spotted for days afterwards too - I was a bit worried that AF spotting was going to become ovulation spotting! I don't get it at all - it's only the last two months I've started spotting pre-AF. I was also just the same about the ov day - ing that AF would hold off for long enough to move the ov date from 25th December to the 28th or 29th. Though in the event, my prayers were answered in a perverse way, by bringing everything forward a week! How long is your lp normally?

I don't really hold out much hope for this month, even though I haven't ov'ed yet. I think I've talked myself into a bit of a depression about it all, and it's hard to summon up the energy. When we started, we thought it would take about 6 months, and it's been only 4 so far - with only 3 proper chances (ie BDing within the fertile window). I'm just fed up of hearing about my friends planning their second babies already, and how they're having to be so careful at the moment, giggle giggle, it all happened a bit sooner than they were expecting last time. :puke: At least 3 friends have said they're going to start trying for their second shortly after Christmas, because they want the baby to be here before Xmas 2008... :wall: :wall: :wall: I really want to be happy for them, but I have to say if any of them get their BFP before I get mine, well,   !

CB23 - I just looked at your chart - your lp was only 11 days last month... have you tested this month at all? That temp is still above the coverline, and the spotting when AF is due doesn't mean much unless it actually becomes AF... I'd say it's still looking promising!

Yeah I tested with a Clearblue and it was negative, I really don't think I am.

Don't get too down, the fact that it takes that little bit longer will not matter one jot when you get your BFP.

Hi all

Chrissy - temps are still looking good for the weekend :D I've also ordered 'The Book' and also the Zita West book too (which arrived today - OH is studying it for clues as we speak ;) )

gypsy - sorry you are feeling a bit low today. I agree your chart will be more settled next month but I wouldn't rule out Ov for this month, just keep going with the OPKs, it might just be later than you think.

ROM - Hope you're feeling a bit better today, fingers crossed you'll be back in your own bed tonight  Can't wait to see you back stalking full time (when you're ready, of course), let us know how the tests go tomorrow

Kitty - I hate automatic updates  Hope the funeral goes as well as can be expected on Friday. I didn't realise she was so young, her poor family especially the kids :( Keep BDing like crazy though, it looks like you might be catching me up and might Ov before me :D

CB - I agree with Kitty, I think you chart is still looking promising. Do you just not feel PG? Had any symptoms at all?

Hi to everyone else too

Hi all,

Just found out another friend is 3 months pg, so happy for her but I feel like I've hit rock bottom at the moment with TTC. I've convinced myself I'll have trouble conceiving because of my short LP.

Since Feb I've 2 cycles with an LP of 8, 3 with LP10, 3 with LP 13 (they've been the most recent cycles). But each of the 13LP has had several days of spotting pre-AF.

From what I've read Kitty, several days of pre-AF spotting might be an indicator of problems with a LP deficiency. Might being an operative word. Spotting for day or so before hand is common but several days of spotting should be checked out.

I also noticed that my periods have been heavier the last couple of cycles with a longer LP but they were really light with my shorter LP. Sometimes only 1 day of light bleeding the rest of it spotting.

Will see what the doc says next week when my AF has gone.

LOL, I have the Toni Weschler book and Zita West books by my bedside too. I should know it all off by heart by now.

Mildly - I didn't chart throughout my pregnancy last time. I stopped after 18DPO because any dips in my temps were making me worried about having a m/c. So I stopped charting. Looking back at the chart now, my temps were so high, there really wasn't anything for me to worry about.

ROM - Sending you more hugs

Everyone has 'the books' but me - I may have to investigate Amazon as I hate feeling left out :rotfl: I did order some more of the pre-seed as we used 5 out of the 6 tubes this month  we'll have to ration it!

Bagpuss I hope the chat with the docs about your LP is useful. Worrying about is just stressing you out and that doesn't help. I really hope your hormone levels are OK though

Hi Mildly - how are you? Gearing up for ovulation? :cheer:
