chart stalkers

Morning all

Gah, still no ovulation  I'm still using OPKs and the agnus castus but nothing yet this month. I wonder whether this will be a longer than usual month, I still am only on CD18, so all is not yet lost.

Bagpuss, I really want to get Mario Olympics when we get ours :D I bet it is good stimulation for your LO to watch, he could be your cheering squad :D

Hey ROM glad you're feeling brighter today  I agree Chrissy's chart looks fab :cheer: Can't wait until she tests tomorrow!

Afternoon all!

I've just lost another post halfway through, and have now run out of time  :x

so very quickly, hope all's well - ROM, glad you're feeling a bit better. Mildly - very frustrating! It's so annoying when you're waiting and you don't know when to expect it. babydust - FX for you, the dip looks promising! Chrissy - find an internet cafe and UPDATE YOUR CHART! Don't leave us hanging at 14dpo! Sookie - Hmmmmm. Not sure about that drop - wouldn't have thought aircon would make a difference unless you sleep with your mouth open. Maybe your body is tired, and has just relaxed dramatically now you're on holiday? I know my body temp drops when I'm very tired.

Once again, I have no idea what's happening with my cycles. I was expecting the CBEFM to go high today, but it's still low. Definitely still very neg OPKs. After all the CM of the last two cycles, I'm getting pretty much nothing now. My temp shot up on both thermometers today. If anyone fancies a peek, I'm still using the old thermometer on the current chart - but right at the bottom of the charts list is one called 1 July 'new thermometer - parallel December chart'. At least the new thermometer is giving me readings to 2 decimal places - they don't all end in a 4! I'm thinking last month was a fluke, so I should expect ov around CD 18-20 as usual (33 day cycles normally), so not for another 5 days yet. But we'll be BDing again tonight just in case! I'm not going to get caught out like that again... :rotfl:

Evening all,

Just spent a couple of hours wrapping xmas pressies up, it's hard work!

Chrissy - that is soooooo a pregnancy chart if ever I saw one. Can't wait for you to test.

ROM - You sound so much brighter today. I'm clinging onto your tidbit about the stat regarding more babies being conceived at christmas than at any other time of the year. :D

Mildly, yep it looks like your in for a longer cycle this month. I normally ov on CD 18/19 which makes it a 32/33 day cycle. The same as Kitty.

My af is still with me, I've noticed that the last couple of months my af has been longer and heavier. Only 1/2 days of heavy/medium bleeding but even when it's light it's proper red blood. Coupled with the several days of spotting at the beginning and a couple at the end, it doesn't half drag on. Want it to go so that I can go to the docs, in case they want to take any swabs etc...

Have a nice evening everybody!

Chrissy - test tomorrow!!!!

Hey all :D

Kitty, has your OH changed the automatic update time? :( I bet it was a great update ;) I would definitely start acting on the new thermometer temps, they look more balanced to me. Although you have had a temperature rise, I predict it will drop down again tomorrow to coincide with your CD18 Ov expectation. For some reason I have had fluctuating temperatures this month, well more so than last month anyway. Get BDing though, it is better to be safe than sorry ;) :rotfl:

I haven't started on the present wrapping yet, Bagpuss. Just realised I need to buy my wrapping paper first! My herbalist told me that a longer and heavier AF is the sign of a healthy cycle but I guess there comes a point where it can become too long and too heavy. Hope it finishes soon for you, so you can get down to the doctors :D

I think I must be copying you guys as I have just done an OPK and got a positive - yay! So CD18/19 it is for me too :) (Just waiting for OH to drink his ginseng tea - go spermies go - before we .. er.. well BD like crazy) :rotfl:

 I collected my sample last night and never got round to testing so I tested this morning with a CB digi and got a smiley face.
Can someone please check my chart and see if I have missed it this time or do I BD tonight.
Also I am taking the pains I have had the past couple of days as ovulation pains...am I right to do this or not?

Sorry for all the questions....

:wall: :wall: :wall:

Gypsy - get back into bed NOW! :rotfl: you can expect to ovulate within 12-36 hours of a pos OPK. Your temp hasn't gone up yet, but that doesn't mean you haven't already ovulated - it means you're unlikely to have ovulated yesterday. So I'd say today's the O day, get BDing immediately! And yes, put it down as O pain.

Mildly - woohoo! Same for you, hope you've been making the most of it!

Bagpuss - I had the same thing this month, lots of spotting afterwards too. Well, not lots, but maybe a little once a day for several days... really annoying.

My temps seem to be fluctuating lots this month too. Temp didn't go down (well, not significantly on the new, not at all on the old!) but I have got a sore throat and I've started sneezing... so I bet I'm getting Chrissy's cold, via CB23 and the rest of you... THANKS CHRISSY! Just give us your cold and bugger off and get pg, why don't you?! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyway, as I said before, I don't have good feelings about this month, I'm so busy and quite stressed, and DH is out lots, so I'm just noting things down and trying not to even think about it. Pretty hard though.

p.s. - did any of you read the article in yesterday's Times (Body & Soul section) about the 46-year-old woman who found herself pg with twins after giving up hope? (2nd marriage, 16-yr-old son by first marriage) Twins are now 2 and healthy... ROM, don't think you can call yourself 'really old' at all, apparently 22,000 women over 40 gave birth in the UK last year, 5,500 for the first time.

Thanks for reply Kitty
No BDing till tonight though as OH took kids out so I can get the ironing done  :wall: :wall: :wall:

Morning all,

Looks like lots of us have got our cycles in sync, ov'ing around CD19 :D

Gypsy and Mildly get BD'ing today and tomorrow. Good luck to you both.

Feel shattered today, had an IBS attack all through the night. As I'm still on my AF I took a tablet for it, it stopped any cramps from coming on but horrendous pain in my back. :( I've had it under control for about 6 weeks which is the longest break from any IBS pain in 18 months. I did have a rubbish day yesterday in terms of what I ate though, not very healthy. My own fault. Unless it's a reaction to the vitamin b6. I'll see how I am tonight.

Mildly, that's interesting what your herbalist said. Maybe it is a sign of my hormones settling down. My AF was usually light and much shorter until the last 2/3 months.

Must stop speculating till I get to the docs.

Will take a look at that article Kitty, sounds interesting.

Have a good day everybody.

thanks Bagpuss....as soon as kids are in bed..............SO ARE WE

Looks like Im going to have to leave this thread as the 30 day trial has expired on FF so Im not a chart stalker anymore, even though Im doing it against my calendar at home. :?

Just managed to get some bd'ing and the preseed gets a thumbs up from both of us...........sorry  far TMI!!!!!!

Blimey - everyone at it  so a load of BFP's in 2 weeks time?

Chrissy good luck testing today.

Scones - the free trial that has expired is just the VIP bit so don't leave us!!!

Just a short post as I am indeed making the most of it ;)

Go gypsy, get BDing :cheer: lol at the thumbs up for preseed

Oooh do you think if we all get Chrissy's cold we might all get PG too? Speaking of which, Chrissy, update please - we are all desperate to know :D

Interesting article Kitty, thanks for posting. Although, I blame you now because OH has starting going on about how he wants twins  :rotfl:

Bagpuss, hope you are resting up today and eating healthily

scones don't leave us, you can still chart you just lose out on the analysing stuff :)

CB hope you are ok :)

Hey to everyone else

Scones, don't leave us. Just use the basic FF.

I'm feeling so tired today after getting no kip last night. My IBS seems to be OK though. Have been careful what I've eaten today but I have just made some mince pies :?

I've bought some pre-seed too, be interesting to see what that's like. If this ruddy AF buggers off :)

hi all!

I really shouldn't be on here at all, I have sooooo much to do... but anyway, hello, and woohoo, it's the start of another happy week in TTC-land...

so who's expecting anything exciting this week? Anyone testing or oving?

I'm getting a bit confused as to who's taking a break for Christmas - Babydust and ROM, CB23 too?

I'm getting really fed up with my cycles. I'm now on CD15 - last cycle I ov'ed on CD13 or 14, this time I don't even have 'High' on the CBEFM. Not that I trust it completely after last month anyway, but I should get 2-5 days of High before it goes Peak - so it looks like I'm nowhere near ov yet. Also, after the last couple of months being awash with fertile CM - nothing. So this cycle is probably going to turn out to be delayed ov, it'll happen over Christmas, and I'll end up with a 37 day cycle  :(

I think if I haven't ov'ed by Sunday, then we're going to write off the rest of the cycle and I'll just enjoy Christmas and New Year. I just want one normal cycle - it looks like something strange has happened every one that I've charted!

Bagpuss - we use pre-seed, it really helps me. Just a word of warning - don't squeeze the tube too hard  and you don't need a whole tube inside, or you get overflow pretty quickly :x :rotfl:

How's everyone doing with Christmas preparations? I made the casserole for Boxing Day dinner yesterday and put it in the freezer, so I'm glad that's out the way. I also made a test batch of Christmas spiced biscuits on Saturday and took them to my brothers and DH's sister yesterday. Looks like the experiment was successful! So I need to make more later this week to hang on the tree... Our tree is being delivered on Thursday and I need to clean the whole house before then - as well as write those bloody articles, I'm just partway through one

Morning all - I am waiting with baited breath for Chrissy to get back - did she say today or tomorrow I cant remember? Wonder if it will be a BFP or AF? Heres hoping it is that BFP just ready for Christmas.

Claire (babydust) - read your other thread - lets hope it was a sign :rotfl: I think anything is a sign these days!! but keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Kitty how organised are you? You are the woman my husband dreams of!! I have all the best intentions but never seem to pull it off somehow. :rotfl: He would love you forever if you made homemade biscuts - maybe if I feel better later this week I will ask you for the recipe.

Well we put up our tree yesterday - it is sort of a tradition that Dave and I go and choose it and then bring it back to the great delight of the children but to be honest we went to the first place yesterday and I am in a foul mood, took one look at the trees left and I announce that we have left it to late and dont want to have one!! Yep I really was a miserable cow..... Anyway Dave bless him didnt say a word - took me to pick up my car and went off and got one on his own - its the strangest tree you have ever seen - all sort of tall and lopsided but with the way I am feeling at the moment I think it is beautiful!!

Bless him he then had to drive up to Sheffield to pick up Han and still took Josh out driving when he got back at 8.00 pm for an hour......

Anyway I have all my family back around me now and things are feeling so much better - off to the hospital tomorrow for another scan and then we will know if anything is progressing - I havent bleed now for a week so that worries me a bit but hey its only 24 hours and we can make some decisions then.......

Determined to clean the house through today incase I end up having to stay in tomorrow so I best be off - but hope you all have a great day and only 8 sleeps till christmas!!!!

morning everyone
just a quick one i need to get the girls round up for lunch then nursery and my house is a tip

oh rom i was really freaked out, that kind of stuff really get me :rotfl:
i am sure your tree is lovely, i always wanted a real tree but its too much work we just have an artificial one thats pre lit :rotfl:

any news from chrissy yet? was her af due today?

my af WAS due today but no sign yet, although this is a 28day cycle this has been my longest for months so either its a bfp or the progesterone is doing what its ment to be doing  but although i have a few symptoms i dont feel preg this month, i just wish it would hurry up cause im dying for a drink :rotfl:

i will catch up later i need to go

ROM - I'm not organised! :rotfl: it's just procrastination! There are many things I need to do that are more important than home-made biscuits! :rotfl:

I'd love your husband if he loved my biscuits... my own husband's verdict was 'nothing special'. But then, he has only three responses - 'nothing special', 'fine' and 'rather not'. Fortunately, my youngest brother and sister-in-law went crazy when they saw them, and scoffed the lot instantly, and the older brother and his fiancee, and DH's sister, were equally enthusiastic (but we didn't stay long enough to watch them disappear!). I might add that DH managed to eat around 14 of the 'nothing special' biscuits, so they clearly weren't that bad...

babydust - have posted on your thread - I'm inclined to think it's psychological rather than spooky! FX AF stays away for you...

ok, time to get on with the cleaning. I've been doing more procrastinating - I went for a run  Brrrrr, it's parky out! I've been back 45 minutes and am only just getting feeling back in my fingers - I need to go have a shower and some lunch, but I didn't dare get in a hot shower whilst my hands were still stiff and white, in case I gave myself chilblains! Typing's good for warming up the hands, I find...

Afternoon all,

We're not that organised for xmas this year with food etcc.....we'll get there though.

The roundtable or rotary club (or some organisation like that) came around last night with a float with Santa on the back, all lit up and christmas songs blaring. Bad timing though, our LO was having his bath. Rushed him out, wrapped him up and took him to the door to donate money and watch Santa. My goodness me, he was REALLY excited. Dancing away and waving to santa. All he could say afterwards was Santa. The first thing he said this morning was Santa and went straight to the xmas tree for us to put the lights on. Made my heart melt :D

Babydust, did you use the progesterone cream from the day you ovulated? Still using it?

Fingers crossed for you.

I've got my docs appointment tomorrow. See what they say. AF is on her way out now, just spotting today. Though I had to use the pessary for thrush last night, some interesting residue on my panty liner today :?

Thanks for the tip about pre-seed Kitty, will give that a try out later this week hopefully :D

Hi Ladies..... just got back so just updating you all that AF didn't turn up on her due date of Saturday :cheer: so I tested on my birthday (yesterday) and it was a BFN....

the      witch has shown her ugly head this morning :( :( so I'm going to be joining you all in having a few Christmas spirits or 3 this coming month and TTC is going to the back of my mind :fib:

Anyway..... got loads to do so can't stay long. I'll update my chart in the morning and fill in you in on what a lovely birthday I had tomorrow

  to everyone.
