Thanks Lins, it doesn't feel like it's ever going to happen for me at the moment.

Defo get BD'ing Mildly, it could well be pre ov dip.

I read somewhere that it can often happen that you get thrush after taking ab's for a UTI. I think that's got something to do with it. We won't be bd'ing for a while so I'll take something for it to get it cleared up before then. DH isn't showing any signs of having it.

We should get a couple of BFPs out of this group before xmas yet.

CB - Cramps can mean pregnancy or AF. The symptoms are identical for many women. I've got a good feeling for you getting a BFP this month, I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

Hey Bagpuss, sorry AF got you, but IT WILL HAPPEN. thrush is horrible I get it a lot. Everytime I have antib's and also everytime DH has antib's. Everytime I say the word antib's I think. Even gave me an abnormal smear result last time.

Freezin innit. I dipped temp today too. Not sure it was because of the weather though, I was snug as a bug, all wrapped around DH and couldn't get out of bed this morning

Have you tested again CB? I've got some ClearBlues in and am going to do one tomoz if still waiting. Can't be doing with another weekend without alcohol

Nope - I have a Clearblue too and will test tomorrow if still no AF but I don't feel really hopeful and I'm expecting AF today. What is more likely is I will waste the Clearblue and AF arrives within minutes of a BFN

Hey all, how are things going? I need to leave the house shortly, so no time to stalk - I seem to be so busy this week. Guess it's the run-up to Xmas - stuff to buy, food to order, presents to wrap, parcels to the post office and we haven't even started writing Xmas cards yet...

plus I've promised a couple of articles to be submitted before Xmas... aaarrghh!

I'm beginning to think this temping lark isn't so very reliable. I ordered a new thermometer - I was a little suspicious that my 2 d.p. basal thermometer gave readings of xx.x4 - every time. Which makes it as useful as a 1d.p. thermometer. Anyway, I got my new one, and I'm running the two concurrently this month, popping the second in the moment I take the first (old) out. Yesterday, for example, the old was 35.84 and the new was 35.97. Today, the old is 35.74 and the new is 35.94. Given my coverline is usually around 35.94, those readings make a hell of a difference. The charts would look very different too...

So as for whether the weather affects temp - I think the choice of thermometer affects it more!

CB23 - in response to your Q, the outside temp should not affect your body temp. However, it may do so if, for example, you sleep with the window open and breathe through your mouth.

I know what you mean about temping Kittykins. I remember one time, years ago, I was in hospital overnight with a throat infection. The nurse came and took my temp in the middle of the night. It must've been a bit high. But she just gave me a row for having too many bedsheets on, took some off and opened the window Don't know why she bothered waking me up!

I guess it must be a general guideline kinda thang. I've been watching my charts get more and more regular though after depo injections and at least they have confirmed that I'm ovulating now (I think!)

CB23 - I'm with you on hoping that the cold will effect my temp because I've had a bit of a drop today too. I think two of us having a dip is too much of a coincidence to ignore so we'll put it down to the cold weather.....

Bagpuss - so sorry AF turned up. Keep wishing though because it will happen for you eventually

Mildly - I think you should defo start getting som BDing in. Even with a faint line it probably means that your LH surge is going to happen soon and those spermies can survive a few days inside you so get BDing..

Chill - I hope your AF didn't turn up. Hope you got all your pressies wrapped too

My temp has dipped a bit today but I'm not too worried. I'm setting my mind up ready for AF and I've even bought a bottle of baileys in for over xmas so if I don't get a BFP this weekend I'm all ready for it.

Spotting here. I just knew when my temp was lower that it would be today.

Oh well. OH is a bit downhearted, doesn't know what we did wrong as we bd'd every day from CD11 to CD 16 with ov on CD15.

Still, lots of eating, drinking and being merry over Christmas for me!

i wondered what everyone thought of this: I have been using natural progesterone cream since i ovulated this month as although i have had 3m/c one chemical and a later loss i have never had my progesterone levels checked and for some reason my dr wont do it they said the hospital would have done it if required and after reading up on it i have self diagnosed low progesterone levels so i ordered a tub of this cream from america

Babydust - I think that so long as the cream doesn't cause you any harm or hinder your TTC in any way then why not give it a whirl.... Especially if your doc won't get you tested. Hope it works for you

Kitty - Those differnences between the two thermometers is very wierd. Do you test orally?? If so have you tried doing both at the same time to see if you get a difference then????

ROM - Also noticed you hadn't posted for a couple of days.... hope all is well

Thanks guys - in a way I'm quite relieved as I am due to go out with friends who knew about the mc 3 times in next week and if I wasn't drinking they would know straight away and I would rather they didn't IYSWIM. I'm now just looking forward to relaxing over Christmas.

Still only spotting but if AF does arrive proper today and I ov on CD15 as per two cycles charted my ov day will be December 25th and my parents are staying from 22nd

OH asked how often we could persuade them to go out somewhere over Christmas On the whole given the timings I don't think next month will be our month either never mind it has only been 2 months now of trying so I shan't be too stressed about missing one month.

CB23 - Sorry you are spotting, it does look like your AF will be here due to the temp drops. But your LP is very healthy so you have everything going for you for a BFP soon. Enjoy your xmas and relax and lets hope we get our BFPS next month.

How long are your parents staying for over xmas? It only takes once though so squeeze in the BD'ing when you can

I should ovulate on the 29th December, luckily we have no visitors so we won't be disturbed with our TTC. Although I can't help feeling it's going to take me months to conceive this time.

I was bored at work today, so I did a spreadsheet of my cycles since Feb this year, along with the day I got an opk + and my LP. It's really highlighted how much my cycles are now only just settling down after giving birth. My LP is starting to get to a healthier position at 13 days if only I didn't have this spotting. Some of the cycles it was 8 days!!!! I think my hormones are still imbalanced. I'm having a reflexology session on Thursday for the first time, I'm hoping that will also help.

Chrissy, your chart is still looking strong

Babydust - that's really interesting that your doc won't check your progesterone levels. I'm worried sick about mine because of the several days of spotting I've had before my last 2 periods. I doubt they'll do anything for me either at this point but I feel tempted to try the cream myself. Resisting till I've been to the docs.

You should only use the cream after you've ovulated, make sure you read the instructions carefully. Good luck.

Have you tried pre-natal vitamin tablets? Really gutted that they aggravate my IBS because they have all the vitamins to help with conception too.

Kitty - that's really worrying that you can have such different readings at almost the same time. Nice to see you back if only fleetingly.

thanks bagpuss i made sure i had ovulated first before using it i read up on it for hours on the internet, i have been taking sanatogen pro natal for months now, at least i will have a good build up of folic acid

Reflexology sounds great Bagpuss. I've never had it done but I know people who swear by it for various reasons. Just out of interest, did you chart throughout your pregnancy?

My OPK was even more faint this afternoon Hopefully it will re-surge (if that is a word) in a couple of days. Starting to worry that I won't Ov this month, then hoping that me worrying is not delaying Ov Rather annoyingly, I am working late this Thursday night and am hoping that I Ov either before or after then. OH has threatened to come to work so we can BD in the toilets I have said that he can wait until I get home

Hi ladies

I have just got out of hospital - eventually yesterday I saw a doctor who actually listened to me and sent me to the hospital - today I had a scan and they found a 4 cm perfectly formed but dead featus in my right tube. All hell let loose and every trainie around the hospital were called to see it - the outcome is that the bleeding has been my body starting to dissapate the mass - I had a long chat with the top consultant who gave me a couple of options but advised me that the way she would like to go forward is to just monitor me with regular scans and blood tests..... I am very lucky, usually a womans tube would rupture and your life would be in danger - It looks as if I didnt miscarry on the 20th October as I thought and my pregnancy continued to develop. They are not sure why only that I am really lucky. Anyway I have come home to my mums, we are having carpet fitted tomorrow and our heating is broken!! I have to have complete rest and wait for is to be over - the bonus of doing this this way is that my tube will remain intact and as the baby is dead there is only a low chance of rupture now - I have had to promise that if my pain gets any worse I will call 999 and go back to the ward. The silver lining is that the consultant is the top one in Shrewsbury and she has said she will help us try again if we want to...... Not really 100% sure about that at the moment to be honest but I think it is too early to even think about it.

Anyway I hope you are all OK and I will be back stalking soon as I have to have complete rest with not much else to do than go on line.
