chart stalkers

 sorry chrissy the bloody cheek of her to show up late :x
enjoy your festive drinks

yes bagpuss i have been using the cream from ovulation i am still using it it says that you can continue to use it if you get a bfp but af was due today and hasnt came yet so im not sure if i should still be using the cream or if this is the reason af is late i think you use it for 14 days after ov then stop until ov again so i ov'd on cd 18 which was a bit late  but i think i need to keep taking it untill cd 32  but i really dont know if this is whats keeping af away

Hi,

Chrissy, so sorry that AF has arrived for you. I was so sure you would get a BFP.   The upside is you can drink and be merry over xmas.

Your chart looked so good, it's only a matter of time before you get your BFP hun.

I reckon there are a few seats reserved for us all in first tri next month.

Babydust, I've read that people use it in the first tri too if they have had low progesterone probs. If you ov'd on cd 18 then going by a 14 day LP you should expect AF on CD 32. If you know what your LP usually is then you will get a better idea of whether you're late or not. They reckon that your LP is usually consistent each cycle.

I must remember to ask the doc about progesterone cream tomorrow.

Evening all :D

Chrissy  sorry hun, I totally thought it was your month. Hope you have a few drinks and relax over Christmas.

Bagpuss, good luck at the doctors, I hope they give you some progesterone cream :D Aww at your LO waving to Santa :D

babydust, I can think of one reason why you might be late  I don't know much about the cream but I would think it is safe to use after 14 days. Does it say anything on the tube/pot to say not safe if pregnant?

Hey CB, hope your having a relaxing month :D With lots of BDing ;)

Hi Kitty, well done you for running in this cold :cheer: I find it is hard enough dragging myself out with the dog for a walk (he hates the cold weather too)! I wish I could bake, I'm afraid that's OH's department, as is most of the cooking.

ROM, I'm at risk of repeating myself but your Dave sounds lovely :D Also have you started wrapping the car yet? ;)

Right I've had two +OPKs but no real temp rise :( Grrr, I'm echoing your request Kitty, I want a normal cycle too!

my maximum lp i have ever had has been 12 days and that was the month i had the chemical it is usually only 10 days :wall: which is today

good luck with your dr tomorrow i hope he/she is more understanding than mine, he wouldnt even enter into talking about low progesterone, so thats why i got it myself off the internet.

 to Chrissy - I'm sorry, your chart did look good!

babydust - I await tomorrow's post with interest!

bagpuss - your son sounds sooooo cute!

mildly - could be that you caught the very beginning? Then you'd expect ov around 36 hours later, and the temp rise anywhere between 1 hour and 48 hours after that... let's see what your temps do tomorrow, but best keep BDing just to make sure!

everyone else - hope all's ok!

I'm going to try to keep off the boards tomorrow until I've done most of the things on my to-do list, but I'll try to log on tomorrow evening. DH is out to drinks tomorrow, but he'd better not stay out late or have too many, as he has to 'perform'! (this is where he goes into his circus sea-lion routine, clapping his hands and barking 'arf arf'...) I've let him off tonight as he's out to dinner, and I didn't fancy the pressure (or, to be honest, trying to make love with a half-pissed, half-asleep husband) - but that means no escaping tomorrow... He still seems remarkably perky about it all, I'd have thought he would have resented the pressure, but in fact he's still getting very excited each time I tell him we have to BD. Bless... still making up for lost time!

Evening all,

Mildly - I agree with Kitty. I'm the same, I get a steady rise afte getting a + on the opks. You wait and see :)

Kitty - Thank you, you're absolutely right. My son is cute but then I would say that. He really is an angel, he's at such a lovely age (before the terrible two's). This christmas is going to be so nice, he's so caught up in santa already. He's been rushing up to the window looking for him tonight.

A lot of my friends have girls, they're not keen at all on having boys. Really gets my goat up but I keep quiet to be diplomatic. Boys are soooo loving to their mums, they don't know what they're missing out on :)

Been to docs and it was a complete waste of time. Got a new junior doctor who was clueless really. She said it was nothing to worry about and that it was most likely my cycles settling down after having a baby.

DH says to make another appointment with a different doctor but I'm not sure. I may leave it another month and go back to see a different doctor if it happens again this cycle.

Frustrating but not really surprised. I'm still spotting red blood. This is really not usual for me. Can't help but worry.

Good morning ladies, well its Tuesday - I go back for my scan at 2.00 and then to see the consultant - got a list of questions not sure if they will be able to answer them but hopefully I will know more. Not sure what will happen there is 3 options I suppose - one that I will continue just waiting for it to happen naturally, two that I have keyhole surgery to remove it and the third is having to have major surgery - I'm not sure at this moment what I want to happen. I suppose if it causes less harm to the tubes the waiting is the best way but having read up on expectant management of ectopics there doesnt actually seem much evidence that it minimises damage!!! To be honest I am not sure if the benefits to my body are outweighed by the stuff going on in my head!! I am really not being very nice at times at the moment - grrrrr I know I am picking fights with Dave for no reason and just wanting a reaction - nothing he does is good enough - sort of feel I am blaming him for feeling so shitty!! Anyway at least we will have more information by later today.

Enough of me - Babydust how are you this morning? How exciting is it - come on girlie we need at least one Christmas BFP in our stockings!! :D

I did have a chuckle to myself this morning - after months of you all being so good and staying off the pop and watching what you eat I wonder how many of you will end up with that elusive second line having drunk yourself silly and eaten piles of seafood and pate!!! Hmmmm perhaps there is something to be said for this relaxing lark....... :D

Bagpuss I have been blessed with both a girl and a boy and to be honest they are both wonderful - Josh was so loving as a littlie but now he is nearly 18 (11 days and counting) I can see that he is getting a little more distant. Hannah on the other hand was independent from an early age but is now much closer to me.... Christmas with little ones is so lovely - its that look in their eyes with all the lights and stuff.

Chrissy I am so sorry - but at least you can enjoy the Christmas spirit with out feeling guilty x

Kitty your DH delight is making up for Dave's frustration!! :rotfl: Bless him he must think Christmas has come early in your house so to speak!!! Make sure you get all that bedding in before your visitors arrive!

Well I'm off to post my ebay sales - poor people they are a week overdue but have felt too rotten to do them until today but if I dont it could be weeks!!

Bagpuss you were posting when I was typing - I have decided that I will refuse to see anyone other than my own doctor from now on - I know that junior doctors need to get training but I think they should avoid more complex issues - can you make an appointment with a doctor that knows you and you trust - even if its for a couple of weeks time - make a list of questions and take a pen!! I took my charts along to my appointment back in October (hmmmmm just thought that probably isnt a great advert for my doctors!! :rotfl: ) but he looked at the graphs and agreed I should have my progesterone checked. At least then you are seeing someone that knows your history and you trust.

Perhaps leave it over Christmas and make an appointment for the new year....?

Morning everyone.....can't believe how much work I've come back in to this morning.... you'd think the business would fall apart if I was off for more than two days!!

Thanks for all your kind words about my AF coming.... When I temped on Saturday morning and my temp was higher I have to say I was a little excited myself at that point but when it had gone down on Sunday I knew that it wasn't my month....

TBH - I thought I would be more gutted than I actually was but I think the disapointment was shadowed by the fact that my straighteners had broken and the world was about to end!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: I've bought a new pair now so all is right with the world again. :D

Anyway....better get some work done now and try and catch up

LOL, straighteners going kaput is a crisis, I agree.

Your temps were still very high though, I'm amazed it wasn't a +.

ROM - Good plan going armed with your list of questions. You've got a difficult choice to make, perhaps you will feel clearer about it once you have spoken with the experts. Such a difficult time for you.

You are lucky having one of each ROM. That said I'm not fussed what I have, I just want a baby. My DH is close to his Mum still. They have a good relationship, I hope I will be the same with my son when he's flown the nest.

We've recently moved to a different town so I don't know these doctors very well at the moment which is a shame. I will go back though defo and see a more experienced doc. There's another woman doc there whose really keen, I thought it was her I was seeing. Shame it wasn't her.
Perhaps it will be worth seeing a doc after my next cycle so that I have 2 charts.

ROM - Did your doc give you anything for your progesterone levels?

morning everyone
good luck for your appointment rom hope it goes ok
bagpuss dr's are useless :wall:
well still no af but no bfp either im now 11 dpo i thought i seen a very very faint line last night so i went and got a digi today and still bfn i hate digi one as they take your hope away :x

Ahh  babydust.

It aint over till it's over, we're all keeping our fingers crossed for you. We need some luck in this group. :)

Hi guys,

Well AF showed uplater thatday I posted. On the bus trip as to be expected!

Anyway, am happy I seemto have had a 14 day luteal phase! Have stopped tempoing for the time being as it is too hard while we are travelling. I have my ferning micro so willbe relying on that.

I hope that you are all well and that weget some BFPs in the next weekor so. FX!!!

BTW, here is a link to some photos of this trip if you are interested. The first couple of pages are of a silly nightclub with typical plastic colombian dancers.. they are pretty funny though. Further in you will see landscapes. The real mountain pictures are not up yet, but there are some of the spectacular valleys we have been seeing. Also, me on the bed was not meant to be serious

Sookie...those pictures look absolutely breathtaking. My DH is on about going somewhere like that all the time and I might just let him think he's persuaded me to go after looking at those :D

I agree, it looks as though you are having a fab time. Lucky you. It's making me get itchy feet and book a holiday. Just need to get my passport renewed.

I've had spotting today as it's the tail end of my AF. I noticed some fertile looking CM after I went to the loo this evening. So took a pee sample as you do, lo and behold I got a faint line on it.

I never normally start my opks this early as I don't ov till CD19 usually. Normally I get complete blanks and only a faint line a couple of days before I get a +. I kind of fade in to a postive and fade out so to speak.

I hope this isn't going to mean that I'm going to ovulate early this month - that would be a first but I seem to be going through a weird time with my cycles at the moment so never say never.

Need to get BD'ing tomorrow I think! Put this pre-seed to the test. :D

Hello again everyone Im back-been reading all your posts-it scares me sometimes how technical it all seems with temps and charts and remembering to do stuff. Me? Im a legs in the air couple times in the middle of the cycle and hope for the best. I think we should be BD a bit more often really but-oh well it will happen when its good and ready.
xxxx

Thanks for the advice re:ff website, I have duly updated my chart now!
