chart stalkers

Gosh Kitty your chart is just like last months!! Hope that is a great sign for you x x x x

Claire its hard when all you want is to see that second line - perhaps we should all put away our thermometers for the festive season??? Try not to get too upset with your DH - remember this is a thing you are doing together - be gentle with him I'm sure he is just feeling the pressure at the moment.

Bagpuss17 try drinking loads of lemon barley water - that helps me. I wonder if this is a good symptom for you?????? :D

Chrissy get bedding lady!! :D and I hope you did well with your shopping.

Sookie have a wonderful holiday and relax x x x x

CB23 and Mildly good luck - fingers crossed for you both x

Hi Everyone

Thought I had disappeared already? Well almost.

Sorry you have been feeling poorly Kitty. Hope the dentist's torture has worn off now.

Babydust Claire - sorry about your DH and BDing dramas. I completely understand. I am really lucky to have a DH that is so easygoing. If I think about other men I have known in the past though, I am sure that they would not be as accommodating as my DH. I hope that the lumps are nothing and that he feels better soon. Even if you just stop talking about it for a while until the situation calms down a bit, and once he is back in the mood just BD every other day but don't mention the dreaded ttc words.

Sorry about the cystitus Bagpus
:( Hope it goes away soon    Hope also that you have IB!

ROM I hope all is looking up on the unexplained bleeding front

Good luck catching the egg Chrissy! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Well not sure what, if anything, I can make of my last 2 temps. Yesterday I woke up an hour early and had to temp... not too bad.
But last night was a colleague's going away party and we were out really late. So I slept in and woke 3 hours later than normal. My temp has shot up to 98.56! But it could be really inaccurate... And I am just not convinced that I Oed, as I had no real EWCM - just watery and a bit stretchy, and no +OPK. But I am not convinced about my OPKs at the moment either. The control line is much fainter than it was on the them when I first opened the packet, and I wonder if they have been affected by the heat and sea breeze. The canister is closed of course but I don't know. On the other hand though my cm is only very creamy now and my cervix is low firm and closed...

Confused

Alright, unfortunately my herbs and saliva ferning microscope didn't arrive yet and I leave on Monday for my holiday. No OPKs left form my trip to the states so will have to go by cm if we want to try while we are away. You can't buy OPKs here :(

Well, I am looking forward to my trip. Will pop in to see how you're doing. Good luck and baby dust to you all!!!!!!!!!!!!       Come on Xmas BFPs!!!!!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

morning all!

Sookie, the extra 3 hours will almost certainly have caused your temp to be higher than usual - the question is how much higher. My temp seems to rise by 0.1 deg C between 4.30 and 6.00am, then another 0.1 between 6 and 7, then another 0.1 between 7 and 7.30 - i.e. the number of minutes taken for each incremental unit decreases with time. If I slept in till 7, I would expect my temp to be 0.1 deg higher than usual (6 is my ideal waking time), but if I slept till 8, it would be 0.3 deg higher. But every woman is different, and the fact that our central heating kicks in at 6.30 each morning probably has somethng to do with it :rotfl: Have a great holiday, and remember to relax! Maybe no OPKs will be just what you need!

Chrissy - hope your DH is coping with the strain! Still, it does help when you ov on a Friday or Saturday, doesn't it? It sonehow seems as though there's less pressure.

Bagpuss - hope the cystitis clears up quickly. I've not had it myself, but I've also heard it is common in pg women!

ROM - Hope you've recovered from your unexpected cycle end. As for your comment - I really hope my chart doesn't end the same way as last month's!

I overrode my chart this morning. I realised that every time I looked at it, I mentally moved the line anyway. I really don't think AF is due on Tuesday, and it would drive me nuts seeing that I was apparently 3 days late, when I'd know I wasn't even due. I got DH to look at the chart, and he's worse than me. 'Either date is plausible, but statistically...' :rotfl:

Anyway, if I left it with ov on CD14, all the signs show AF is about to arrive today and I'd have a 26-day cycle. If I changed it to CD18, suddenly things look a lot more positive, so I thought I might as well be optimistic whilst I could be! :D :rotfl:

So - what's everyone up to today? I've got some Christmassy things to sort out, then our residents' association has a carol service in the park - with Father Christmas, I can't wait! - and this evening we have the Advent carol service at church. I thought I might go and put on my carols CD again, just to ensure DH is totally fed up of Christmas by the end of the weekend!!!  Altogether now, HARK! The Herald Angels si-ing, Glory-y to the new-born Ki-ing...

(as you can see, the toothache has worn off completely! :rotfl: ) have a great day everyone!

Morning all

Have a good time Sookie (although I know I'm too late and you won't see this :( )

5dpo here. Ho hum. taps fingers on table impatiently

Today I am making my christmas cake, all the fruit was left to soak in brandy overnight so I'm all set. Did some christmas shopping yesterday so I'm feeling rather Christmassy all in all and may join Kitty in some carols

Oh kitty with all those carols its definately not going to end the same way!! :D :D :D

I love Christmas - so much so we got married on Christmas Eve last year :D Off christmas shopping today although I have finished most of it just our 2 to buy for now - Then we are going into Manchester for Dave to deliver some ice and hopefully take me out for dinner!! :D

Bleeding all stopped - doctor didnt ring me back on Friday night  so no idea what the tests showed but no signs of ovulatioin either - oh well now we are bedding for the fun of it and BOY IS IT FUN!!!!! :rotfl:

Sing one for me Kitty :D :D :D :D :D

Hi all

Thought I'd better do a bit of chart stalking to occupy me as I'm waiting for AF to finish.

babydust (Claire) - temps have gone down nice and low pre-ovulation, fingers crossed Ov coincides with your DH feeling less pressured to TTC

ROM glad to see your bleed has stopped, I hope you get your results from the doc soon. Come on Ov day - get a move on :D

kittykins - your 8 DPO dip looks very promising :D Fingers crossed for you :)

sookie have a great time away and don't forget to pop back and see us :D Hope those temps stay high for you!

Bagpuss your chart is beginning to look very similar to last months :D Really hope that is a good sign!

shellbham - temps are still high, I don't think it is all over for you yet. Fingers crossed for the official test tomorrow

Trudy - not sure about Ov for you, are you using OPKs too?

CB23 - fingers crossed the 2ww goes quickly for you

Chrissy, go girl, you get BDing :D

Apologies to anyone I've missed, I was just looking at current charts. I have to go out and walk the dog in the rain now. Grr where is our snow? I really hope we have a white Christmas this year :)

Hi Guys,

Haven't gone yet!!! I am still here until Monday. Sorry - I didn't mean to make a grand exit out of leaving  I will check back in tomorrow morning as well before we go to the airport around midday. Thanks for all your happy holiday wishes :)

Well I have to ask you all to look at my chart and tell me what you think. Did I ovulate? If I pin the 2 charts at ovulation they are almost identical. And given the ups and downs of my temps I think that is a little bit weird! I was really not convinced that ff was right but now I tend to think that it was. And I did have what felt exactly like O pain. Any enlightenment would be appreciated.

If I did O I will be curious to see how it decides my cycle length for next month. At 34 days it will be my shortest cycle after coming off the BCP (others have been 39, 43, 49 and 45).

Sorry to only talk about myself!

hmmm... it does look very possible! I'd put the coverline a little higher though, at 97.5 - it seems to look more likely there.

the pattern sounds like mine after BCP - slowly coming down but jiggling around a bit. I can't remember exactly, but they were something like 90, 60, 56, 57, 46, 33, 42, 33, 33, 33.

FX for you that's what's happening to you too - it will make your life a bit easier!

Hey all,

A lot of posts since I was on yesterday.

Well I still have cystitis even though I drank cranberry juice and water for Britain yesterday. Still drinking today. I'm not feeling the urge to pee as frequently but it still hurts a bit when I do need to go.

I think the spotting is down to the cystitis, it's mentioned as one of the symptoms. It was a bit pink when I wiped earlier today but that's it.

I've never had cystitis before, the month I got pregnant with my son. I got thrush in the 2WW (and all through the first tri). Likewise, I'd never had that before either. I hope it's a good sign. Clutching at straws or what!

ROM - really pleased for you that your bleeding has stopped and that your indulging in lots of BD'ing. Go for it!

Kitty - I keep looking at your chart and really can't say one way or another as to which day you ov'd. One time I'll look and think CD14 then I change my mind to CD18 :?

Sookie - I think you have ov'd from looking at your chart.

How is everybody whose in the 2WW coping? I've convinced myself my AF will get here next weekend. I usually start spotting before the 2WW is up. It's making me feel so down just thinking of her paying me a visit. I so wanted a xmas BFP.

My temp has dipped hugely today. I was tucked up in bed by 21.30 yesterday, straight to sleep. I felt well rested, not sure why my temp is so low today.

Anybody put their xmas decs up? I'm going to get them up next weekend. I love xmas too.

Thanks Kitty and Bagpus! Well I guess I am probably in the 2WW. It's nice to be almost a week into it without really knowing!

 for a Xmas BFP for me and all of you!

hi all. Warning - feeling sorry for myself!

I think AF's arrived early. I've had occasional pinkish-brown mixed with clear stretchy/stringy stuff when I wipe for the last couple of days (sorry to be so graphic). Today I had brown watery discharge when I wiped. I guess it's going to turn red later today. Looks like I've had the shortest cycle of my life - didn't even make it to 28 days. Going with the early ov date, I wouldn't expect Af till tomorrow - with the later/usual one, I'd expect it next weekend. I can't believe that this month it's turned up a week early! I am soooo confused - can't work out what's going on with all the EWCM this month, way past ovulation, can't work out why the LH surge wasn't picked up (also if I ov'ed on CD14, the LH must have followed very quickly after the oestrogen surge, really unusual for me). Don't have a clue what's happened with my temps, and don't know why my cycle has just shortened by a week. I did do a HPT this morning, more in desperation than anything else, but of course it was BFN.

And to top it all off, I'm getting a cold.

Kittykins -   so sorry to hear your AF is possibly turning up. On a bright side thought at least you'll be able to work our which date you did OV. A small consilation I know !! Is there any chance it could be an implantation bleed with you not getting full red flow yet?????

Sookie - Have a fab fab fab time on you hol. And rest assured while all the rest of us are cold and damp in England we'll all be wishing we were somewhere sunny.

Bagpuss - sorry to hear about your Cystitis. I've never had it myself but I've heard it's not that pleasant. Does it affect your TTC??? I do like the way you're trying to make it a positive though...well done :rotfl:

ROM - So glad that your bleeding has stopped. Hopefully it's the start of a new cycle for you and you can get down to BDing as soon as possible.

As for me.... well, I did manage to get most of my christmas shopping done... :cheer: . Just got to wrap it all now :(

I had a positive OPK on Friday night and I did another one on Saturday that had a line but it was lighter than the control line so I reckon I OV'd on Saturday. Me and DH BD'd like crazy this weekend and I can't wait to be able to take a couple of days off now... :rotfl: :rotfl:

I forgot to temp yesterday morning. :x :x so today is my first temp at DPO and it's not gone up as much as I would have expected. It's still risen though so I'm hoping for the best

That does mean that I'm now in the 2ww..........which also means it's two weeks to my birthday.... :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Morning ladies,

Kitty   if it is AF - what a strange cycle if it is - hopefully it is your body saying lets get no with the next month I'm ready for a BFP!!?? It may not be such a bad thing to get this cycle out of the way - I think my body is still adjusting to my loss in October I have heard on FF that following a chemical peoples cycles can change?? It could be an implantation bleed of course in which case non of the above apply!! :D

Chrissy now the waiting begins - how nice would it be to get a BFP for your birthday :D

Bagpuss17 dont give up yet - I am beginning to think we are all driving ourselves mad with this temping and charting!! Somehow I find during the 2 weeks in tww I put my whole life on hold..... We are putting up our decorations on Monday, 17th December (we would usually put them up on the sunday but our daughter is back on the Monday and wants us to wait!!)

We definately stopped bleeding - rang the doctors today and was told they had left a message on Friday - turns out they were ringing the wrong number so some poor soul has a message about unexplained bleeding on their answerphone!! Anyway the outcome is the tests were all clear!! They dont know what it was and said just keep an eye on it but it definately isnt anything left over for my loss........ Great none the wiser, we have decided to just take it as it comes and continue bedding just incase I did ovulate in the middle of it all!! DH doesnt need an excuse!! :rotfl:

Anyway got to go and see a little car for my sons christmas and 18th Birthday pressie - I'm so excited - going to give it him on Christmas day and he hasnt got a clue :D :D Insurance is stupid though - we are paying less than £700 for the car and it will cost us £1700 to insure it!!!

Hi all,

Well Kitty sorry to hear about AF. It's really frustrating when we do all this planning, and constant monitoring of our cycles and then somehow the day just slips by without us noticing. Hoping it is IB for you!

I was really relying on the OPKs and they have also failed me. FF moved my O date today to CD25 which means that I don't really have a chance of a BFP (even less than it would have been anyway) That night I tried to pounce on DH but he was sick :x and rejected me. Oh well, will make the trip easier.

Good luck in the 2WW Chrissy, CB23 and Bagpus.

Hope your O is less elusive than mine and Kitty's ROM

Michelle, you never know, fx

Who have I missed? Babydust Claire, good luck bagging your man

!!!Hasta luego chicas!!! Y feliz navidad

Kitty, I'm joining you in feeling sorry for myself.

Been to the docs as still have cystitis, he's given me antibiotics to take. Just read up on them and they should not be taken during the first trimester of pregnancy.

He said it's a catch 22 situation, it's a nasty infection (spotting is actually blood in my urine due to the infection) that could well cause a m/c if I did get pg and left it untreated. Plus it could develop into a full blown kidney infection if left untreated. He said it's impossible to say whether it would prevent implantation, 50/50.

Just feel so upset, all that BD'ing for nothing. No xmas BFP.

Worried the tablets will also cause me IBS pains too. It feels like I'm never going to get a BFP with all these probs.

If I could I would have a glass of vino tonight but I can't cos of the tablets.

I really hope it doesn't come back next month.

ROM- Glad your test results are all clear.

Chrissy - my temp didn't rise as much as I'd though the day after ov'ing either, it rose nicely afterwards though. I'm sure you'll see a bigger rise tomorrow.

Hi to everybody else.

Just need to dry my eyes now.....

Sorry Bagpus
I know what you mean. We've missed out on BDing because DH was sick and then we both have had recurring thrush. So now we have to do a full 6-day treatment each and no BD on holiday at the nice place I booked for the week I THOUGHT I would be Oing.

I hope that you feel better really soon. There's still a chance you might get that BFP. Don't give up yet!

Thanks Sookie, and lots of hugs to you.

What a pair we are. We are owed some good fortune next month.

     to you both. Sookie me and Dave did that with Thrush a couple of months ago - I gave it him and then he gave it back - he will never again take the mick though - he thought it was the most awful thing in the world to have!!! :rotfl:

Bagpuss17 just think how many ladies take tablets when they are not trying to conceive but catch by accident and their babies are fine..... Try not to worry too much (easier said than done) - water infections can cause awful problems if left untreated so you must take what your doctor prescribed

Thanks ROM, I'm being a good girl and taking them. But you know how silly your mind can work when your desperate for a BFP.

Going to treat myself to some chocolate tonight.

what a crap month it's turned out to be for the chart-stalkers! Big  to everyone, especially Bagpuss.

I thought it might have been IB the first couple of days, with the pale pinkish stuff. But today's the third day, and it's now the brown watery stuff that you might get at the very end of AF. I think my body's playing silly buggers. Just waiting for AF to start properly now, and then it'll confirm that I did ov on CD14 after all.

I suppose the good thing is that with AF coming a week earlier than anticipated, the expected December ov date moves forward to (and even further forward if I ov on CD 14 again!) - looks like it'll now be the week/week-end before Xmas, rather than Xmas itself when we have a house stuffed full of parents. That would be good - DH will be relaxed, we can have some fun, and then the 2ww will go really quickly with all the festivities.

Bagpuss - how long do you need to take the tablets? and are you likely to be similar timing to me next month as well? If so, you too can look forward to the fastest 2ww ever!

sookie - sorry to hear about your charting troubles too. Hope you have a really relaxing time!

CB23 - hope your cold's better (gosh, we really are a bunch of crocks, aren't we?!)

Chrissy - come on, you have to get that BFP for several of us! FX for a fab birthday surprise!

ShellBham - hope the result today was better than you were expecting... FX for you, and will look for your post later.

Babydust, hope you're feeling a bit better after the stress of the past couple of days

Mildly, I'm doing my best to catch you up! When do you expect to ov this month?

ROM - I'm not going to ask when you expect to ov! :rotfl: I think DH and I might try the SMEP this month, and BD every other day from CD8 till I get a +OPK or a Peak CBEFM or really stretchy EWCM - or anything, in fact, since none of those seem to be reliable indicators - and then BD every day. If we can. Sounds like you're doing the same! At least the tests were clear, that must be a huge relief.

If you're excited about the car, I can't begin to imagine how excited your son will be! I remember when my parents gave me my first car, for my 17th (yes, I was lucky to be given the car so early - but there was a hidden agenda, I had to drive my brothers the 45 min journey each way from school and back from then on, saving my mother the drive!) - I was so thrilled, and so surprised. I was also absolutely terrified. I sat in the car for three hours, reading the manual and checking things. I was so absorbed in it, I didn't notice my parents practically wetting themselves with laughter and taking lots of photos! I also remember that for at least two years afterwards, I kept asking my parents if they wanted to be driven anywhere, or collected from anywhere - I was almost forcing them to go out for dinner so that I could drive to pick them up! FX your son does the same for you, that would be a good investment in the car and insurance! :rotfl:

So - do any of you think that I should see the doctor about having a 27-day cycle and pre-menstrual spotting, when I usually have 33-day cycles and no spotting, or do you think I should just make a note, and see what happens next month? I'd feel a bit silly going, especially after going last month, but last month the doctor said that if the spotting was just a one-off, and we knew it was a chem, we had a reason and I shouldn't worry. Well, now it's not a one-off... so I'm trying to work out if that means I should worry? Or put it to the back of my mind for a few days and see if anything else odd happens? It's so difficult not to worry when unusual things happen, isn't it?
