Poor Kitty, you get yourself wrapped up with a duvet and hot mug of something and put some daytime TV on. You'll feel better before you know it.

p.s really hope you're no incontinent :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hope you feel better soon Kitty. Take things easy this afternoon.

Something strange happened this morning. After going for a pee first thing, I wiped and saw a few tiny spots of red blood and the tissue was pinky/reddy. The same thing happened the second time I went to the loo this morning and nothing since.

Far too early to be an implantation bleed but extremely unusual for me to get this. I only spot the day before my AF is due and then it's brown discharge.

FF has put me down as ov'ing on day 20 but I'm certain it was day 19 cos I get ov pains. :?

Sounds like you are getting a surge Chrissy, good luck! Get BD'ing.

Bagpuss17 you just never know - although they say implantation is usually between 7 and 10 dpo it may just be - how exciting - it may also be a little bit of blood that it released with the egg on ovulation (not that I've been reading up on ovulation bleeding!!!!!!! ) but that is seen as a great sign too - often a sign of a good strong eggie! FX here in Shropshire for you.

Yeah that's what I thought with regard to implantation bleeding. I ovulated on Monday, do you think I could still get ovulation bleeding today?

I did notice some pink streaks in my CM on Monday night actually thinking about it.

Hi again, thought I'd have a quick peek!

bagpuss, that does sound like the original ov bleeding I'd heard of before I started investigating on ROM's behalf - 'spots or streaks' of pinkish-red is exactly how FF describes it. Your chart's looking not dissimilar to your pg one.

It really is all happening this month, isn't it?

Chrissy, that rise looks good to me.

btw - I just noticed that FF has now decided that my chart (based on CD14) is 'possibly triphasic'. Er, yeah, that's because that 'second rise' to a 'third level' is the ovulation rise, perhaps?! Still, I quite like seeing the message, so another reason not to change the chart to CD18 till the last minute! :rotfl:

Anyway, my mince pie is now ready  . I'm going to play a CD of Christmas carols and cheer myself up. Well, it is the first day of December tomorrow. DH is 'out to lunch' this evening (I'm guessing it's an all-night as well as all-day affair) so I think I'm going to do some online shopping and plan the food shopping tonight.

Girls check out this site - its so funny - easy way to waste a few hours!! The girls are my daughter and nieces - its extra funny as my eldest niece has cerebral palsy and its just so lovely to see her dance!! :D

PS waiting for my doctors to ring me with my results from the tests on Tuesday - they are in just need a doctor to talk to me again!!! Hmmm been here before...... :wall:

Had a look - can see that a lot of time could be wasted there! :rotfl: Only thing was the site was really slow to load, and kept pausing mid-dance. Have your nieces seen it yet?

Good luck for your results - let us know...

Yep they are absolutely tickled pink - they have just done one of their daddy and my other brother, Dave and Josh my son - they are staying with my mum for the weekend as their parents are visiting our brother in Holland so they have emailed it to him for when he gets there ....... Bless my youngest niece who is 9 said "aunty Jane that made me wet my pants a bit!!" Bless her

I like your festive spirit Kitty, I've got my advent calendar ready for tomorrow :D

Wouldn't ovulation bleeding be at the time that I ovulated? Not a few days afterwards?

Who knows.....

kids can be so honest!

Bagpuss - it seems not a lot is actually known about ovulation spotting/bleeding! It's quite rare, but it's thought that it could be one of a number of things, including oestrogen dropping and progesterone not being quite up to speed (so a tiny bit of the lining comes away), which would happen just before/at the time of ovulation, or the force of the follicle bursting, which would be in the few hours after ovulation, or something to do with the luteal cyst causing continuing to bleed a little in the couple of days afterwards. The other possible reason I've read about is if a second egg was released a few hours after the first. It can take a couple of days for blood to reach the tissue anyway, if you're wiping when you go to the loo rather than checking the cervix.

Although implantation bleeding can't be ruled out, it takes the egg about 5 days to reach the uterus, and a further 2-5 days to implant. So implantation spotting is usually 7-10 dpo. To have implantation bleeding at 3 dpo, the egg would have had to have been fertilised immediately, made it to the uterus in a couple of days, and to start implanting in half the usual time.

Whatever, it's often seen as a lucky sign! If you do a search on the FF chart gallery for mid-cycle spotting, there are quite a few charts with a single spotting day 3-4dpo. Lots of charts also have a little temp dip at 3-4dpo, suggesting a temporary decrease in progesterone levels - the two things may or may not be related!

:rotfl: thats great rom :rotfl:
kittykins :rotfl: no i didnt tell my mum why i wanted her to babysit thats just tmi she knows we are ttc she knows about the prev m/c but not about the chemical i had last cycle

well looks like the plan is off  as my sis got engaged she is on her way up here from bournemouth with her oh they are planning on surprising my mum, they will arrive at 9pm and expect me and dh to be there for a wee engagement party but the thing is the girls are fine staying at my mums if she picks them up but if i go to her house and try and leave without the girls they get upset :wall:

and dh has come home from work feeling like sh*t and i have had ov pain all day, i have ran out of opk, i tested this morning and got a line but not as strong as control and i now have streatchy cm do you think i am ov now or maybe tomorrow? dh has been off the booze all week and i have managed to get him to have some wine tonight to try and get him in the mood
sorry this is so long i guess i just needed a rant

what terrible timing! Any chance your mum can pick up the girls now (if she hasn't) and then you join them all at 10 to 9? Nothing like a bit of pressure!

Very interesting info Kitty. Time will tell eh. I've never had ovulation spotting/bleeding before. It's a 1st for me.

I'm sure I ovulated a day earlier than FF says, I had my ov pains on Monday afternoon/evening and that was my last day of EWCM. Which makes me 4DPO.

Sounds like you are ov'ing now Claire. BD tonight if you can or in the morning. Good luck!

 just had an argument with dh he told me to stop putting pressure on him, and i was like wtf

i really hate what ttc is doing to me  i feel like a mad woman and hate being desparate dh found lumps under his arms a few weeks ago he got blood tests done which showed he had a high white cell count so he was given ab's but the lumps are back tonight bigger and he is terrified incase its cancer or something so i can understand him not being in the mood but somehow ttc has turned me into a selfish bitch and its all i can think about

Ahh Claire, I know where you're coming from. Once you have your mind set on having a baby, it's all you can think about.

Also understandable why your DH is not in the mood as such, he's got a lot of worry going on at the moment.

oh Claire   I'm so sorry to hear of your DH's health problems :( fingers crossed its nothing too serious.

What a shame your quiet night in plans have been spoiled :( sounds like it would have done you both good. The pressure to bd when its the right time is very stressful.

I'm the same, OH said yesterday that sex at the beginning of the week was a 'bit mechanical' and he's right and its only our second month. I'll have to make it up to him at the weekend.

Hi all

ROM I love that site :rotfl: It has made me feel all Christmassy :D Glad to hear that the bleeding is tailing off. Maybe, like you say, it is clearing everything out ready to start a fresh next month

Claire, fingers crossed your DH's lumps are nothing serious  TTC is damn stressful. I've found it much more so since starting charting as you are so much more aware of where you are in your cycle and what you should be doing. As soon as all of our BFPs arrive we can go back to BDing for fun :cheer:

Bagpuss, your spotting sounds promising. From what I've read (it backs up what Kitty has said) it does seem as though ov spotting is considered lucky :D

Kitty hope you have a fun and festive night with your carols and mince pies :) Yay for triphasic charts too :D

Sookie did I read you were off for a months road trip? You have a great time and remember babies are often conceived during a holiday ;)

Hi to everyone else, I am hoping to stalk some charts tomorrow when I've a bit more time, just been to dinner at my parents so feel a bit tired now! Thanks for the replies about the baby clothes. I have now put the wrap in the airing cupboard waiting for a suitable occasion or present ;)

To answer the question about TTC and who else knows, we haven't told anyone that we are trying. It took my sister 4/5 years to conceive and she told everyone from the beginning that they were trying. I just don't want to put us under that kind of pressure especially if it takes us that long  Hopefully it won't though  :D

claire -    i guess my comment didn't really help either
How old are your girls again? Maybe you need to take a break from actually trying until the New Year, this is always a stressful time of year anyway, and I bet the kids don't make things easier right now. Your poor DH - think perhaps he needs a couple of months that are about him? Your turn will come!

Well, I hope everyone has a lovely, relaxing, restorative weekend. Sookie - if you read this over the weekend, have a great holiday and we look forward to updates!

Claire -          and a whole pageful of  . This TTC business turns us all into selfish eveil   witches. My DH said that I was putting him under pressure last night too but I told him to just shut up moaning.......most husbands would be thankful if their wives were demanding sex every night so just get on with it!!! And he did... good boy he is :rotfl: :rotfl:
I have made a deal though that if we don't get PG this month we're having next month off so we can just enjoy christmas and new year without the pressre of TTC. Perhaps you should think about a month off too. It's good and helps you remember all the things you've forgotten because TTC is taking up too much time!!

For me.... I think it's OV day today.. :cheer: :cheer: I did two OPK's yesterday and got lines on both of them one was quite faint and the 2nd one was darker but still not as dark as the control line so I think I'll get a positive today. I've also had a temp drop today which I got last month on OV day too and it's the same CD as last month OV date too. Poor hubby is feeling the strain but I'll keep him going for two more nights if it's the last thing I do :rotfl:

Off to do some christmas shopping now :x so I'll probably be calming myself down for the rest of the weekend

Hope everything is OK with you Claire. Agree with others, perhaps take some time out from TTC so that you and your DH can relax a bit more. Your DH needs your support right now.

My temp was really high this morning, I had to check it a zillion times.

I also think I have cystitis which I've never had before. I keep needing to pee and it makes me flinch when I've finished. So lots of water to drink today to try and clear it. I feel OK otherwise.

Hope everyone else is OK.

Good luck with the BD'ing Chrissy!!
