Scones - Hi. Yep, I would you're probably right with that estimate of ov'ing around days 10-13 on a 26 day cycle. That's right, a faint line on an opk is a negative. However, it may indicate that you are building up to the LH surge or that you've just missed it. What day of your cycle are you?

Me, I'm feeling pre-menstrual. My temp has dropped a bit, I hope it's not on it's way early

I haven't had time to go through all the charts - who's where in their cycles at the moment? Who else is in the 2ww?


The funeral on Friday was really emotional, and a long, draining day, but I'm glad we went. We drove my mother home yesterday, so a 6-hour round trip, and today I'm shattered and really stiff.



Well, I had the weirdest AF ever (if you can even call it that). Just spotting, on and off for ten days. And yep, ROM, it was brown and stringy with stretchy mucus (NICE! ) - towards the end, occasionally dark brown clots when I wiped, but nothing on the liner, but no flow, no bright red at all.

To make it even weirder, I felt the urge to POAS last night, so I did an OPK - and within seconds the strongest-ever second line came up. My CBEFM won't start requesting till CD9 or 10 (I wasn't expecting to ov till around CD20!) but I peed on a stick anyway, and sure enough, it showed that oestrogen had surged and LH was surging - definitely a Peak, on CD6. So after last month's 35-day cycle, it looks like I'm oving today, CD7, and can expect a 21-day cycle this month. As you can imagine, I dragged DH to bed immediately! Only problem was I forgot to set my alarm, and didn't wake up till 2 hours after normal testing time this morning, so I have no idea whether the high temp is due to temping late, or showing I've already ov'ed. Guess I'll have to see tomorrow.

Chrissy thank you for the CM explanation. I do know exactly what you mean. Thinking back I can only remember a couple of occassions where I have had real EWCM, hopefully thats just because I wasnt looking for it before. I got to pray now that no fit Policemen come to see me at work this week as I might get my CM's mixed up!

I am eagerly waiting to see what your temp is tomorrow too! Looking so good

Good morning everyone - welcome back Kitty, I'm glad to hear that you got home safely

Kitty dont really know what to say to you about AF except we seem to be in the same boat!! I have marked today as light and FF has started a new cycle for me - I am at last getting some redish bleeding with black slimey clots that look like black ewcm!! Anyway I am back to see my consultant on Wednesday and am going to go alone so I can ask loads of questions - pad and paper to the ready...... + opk this early is unheard of for you isnt it Kitty? Well at least your DH should have a smile on his face.....

OK now where has Chrissy got to????? Come on lady I cant wait to see what happens to that temp......

Bagpuss AF is far too early for you - hopefully those PMS signs are good news for you too....

Gosh we may loose half our number in one month at this rate........

Yay claire another BFP for stalkers..... how good is that. That line will keep getting stronger and stronger. You'll be able to keep mildly company in frist tri and all through the next 9 months. So happy for you, hope it all goes well and you are welcome to stay and stalk the rest of us for a bit

i know it's ace isn't it! I did my temp in the dark when I first woke up this morning and then went back to sleep. when I woke up properly and looked at it I thought there must be something wrong with the thermometer!!!!

I'm not going to get over excited just yet because I had a temp dip at 7dpo followed by higher temps in my Oct cycle which didn't lead to anything.

I know I shouldn't but I've got a few unusual symptoms that I don't normally get too. My bbs are killing me, particularly the last couple of days. I was struggling to do my class this morning becasue they hurt so much. They normally get a bit painful in the run up to AF but they seem worse than normal. I've also had back pain for the last few days too, right at the bottom of my back and I don't normally get that. And I'm just soooo tired all the time. DH is getting actually worried that there's something wrong with me because I was so sleepy last week. I spent most of yesterday afternoon asleep on the sofa!!!

But I am not going to symptom spot......honest!!

chrissy you need to test, your chart looks great i have had lower back pain almost accross the top of my buttocks and accross my pelvis, oh this is a really good sign remember i got my bfp at 9dpo, when are you testing?

Didn't manage to BD last night. We had friends round for dinner, they didn't leave until quite late then we couldn't find one of our cats. We hadn't seen her all evening - turned out we had accidentally shut her in the towel cupboard. Tried to wake DH up this morning for some BDing but he barely moved. I don't think I can have missed ov as the line was faint yesterday, so will jump on him later methinks!

ROM - er, yes, it is early! If I am in fact oving on CD7, it would be a 19-23 day cycle. FF has pinpointed CDs 19-23 as possibly fertile. Can you imagine if I hadn't done the OPK last night? I'd have had another month of 'Low' on the CBEFM and neg OPKs, and then I'd suddenly have got my period just when I was expecting to ov! I'd have been so peed off. Anyway, I'm not going to hold my breath - this may be a false alert. I think you can get LH surges and not actually ov, can't you? I'm not taking anything for granted with my cycles any more!


Well, once a chartstalker, always a chartstalker... and all those stalkers who get their BFPs will just have to stalk other people's charts to get their fixes... Anyway, we need all the independent advisers we can get on here! So babydust, you and Mildly aren't going anywhere

I know what you mean Kitty about the confusion - FF has put my fertile days from cd6 - cd32 this cycle!!! Even Dave would be exhausted if that was the case!! I have asked the VIP guide to tell me how to disregard a cycle - only problem is not sure how many cycles to disregard!!!!

I think Af is due on friday so I won't be testing until Saturday at the very earliest. Testing seems to be the kiss of death for me......no matter when I test AF always arrives the very next day.

based on that.....if I don't do a test for another 9 months or so I should be fine!!

Kitty & Rom, I often get AFs like that but they are short (3 days). The first day is brown spotting as you described, 2nd day red flow and 3rd day more spotting. then I spot for more days. But it is definitely AF for me, whereas yours sounds different. What a pain for you both!

Well I am very depressed with my chart. It's a mess. I really thought that I did ovulate on CD26 but my temp is not rising. Based on my past experiences I could still Ov.

Oh!!!!!!!!!! Just checked the ferning micro and there is partial ferning!!! So maybe I will still Ov. I really hope so! I thought I must have been having an anovulatory cycle but I guess there is still hope for me.

Unfortunately DH has a bug and was throwing up last night with a fever. I hope he's feeling better...

Hi Lynsey, welcome to the Chart Stalkers. Nice to see somebody new join us again. We're on a good run at the moment so lets hope it brings us all BFPs very soon.

Chrissy - Fab temp rise. Symptoms sound encouraging too. Fingers crossed for you.

I'm still very irritable as if AF is on her way. My temp went up today though thank goodness. It's a mirror of my last cycle, dip on DPO6 and a rise on DPO7. Hope the rest of it doesn't follow suit though.

Claire - if the pre-seed is still going I would be interested in that

Sookie - Must be so hard for you with these long cycles. 6 week cycles is tough enough.

Kitty - Blimey, thank goodness you tested yesterday. How nice will it be to have a short cycle. You'll be timing it exactly right!

Kmac - phew, glad you found your cat. We thought we'd lost one of ours a few weeks back. We always keep them in overnight, we couldn't find the youngest. Search the house high and low and LO nursery. Couldn't see him. Then we heard faint miaows coming over the baby monitior! He was hiding some where in the nursery. It's such a worry when they go and hide or go missing.

Good luck with the BD'ing. Have you done an opk test today?
