Gypsy - To be honest I am not sure about the digitial OV tests - I would assume it would show a each day your test line matched its control line - I sometimes will get a couple of + OPK's if my surge is sort of midday and I test in the afternoon and then again in the morning. I am sure one of the girls who uses this type will know the real answer for you.

Having said that FF seems pretty sure you have ovulated and you do have a nice rise in your temperature but be careful as my temps were definately higher for a couple of days while I had this head cold.

I hope your friend has a very quick and painless labour in the end

Well I am really p***ed off now...... AF is still not here - less spotting yesterday - I am going back to the consultant on Wednesday and her office rang to ask me to get more bloods done on Tuesday so perhaps they will be able to shead some light on it..... Never in my life have I so much wanted to BLEED...... and my temps are slowly going back up too..... I wonder if I should stop charting until its all sorted out as it is making me really stressed......

Good luck to the rest of you - I'm off to stalk big time now and see whose temps have risen this morning.... and Claire kick your DH out of bed and get him down Sainsbury's now......

i just woke up.....

Look at my chart........a big dip at 8dpo!!! Could it be an implantation dip???

Only time will tell....if it's up higher tomorrow i could have a triphasic!

I want tomorrow to hurry up now so I can do my temp!

Am I right in saying that it doesnt matter how late you take your temp, as long as its when you first wake up? I usually wake at 7.30ish for work and take my temp immediately. Today I woke at 9am took my temp and went back to sleep. If I hadnt woken until 12noon, would my temp still be a true reading?

Loola I find the longer I sleep the higher the temperature. I think that is why they say to test at the same time each day and then you get a true comparision. Lets be honest lie in or consistant temps I know which I would choose

Yeah.... I'm woth you ROM. My weekday waking time is 6:30 so that's what time I take my temp. If FF thinks I'm waking up at 6:30 on a weekend then FF has another thing coming

What I tend to find though is that even though it's weekend my body clock wakes me up in between 7 and 7:30 so I taken my temp at that time and then just go back to sleep.

I also find the later I temp the higher the temp.

If you temp more than 30 minutes outside your normal temping time FF puts it in with an open circle to show that it could be a false reading.

Oh yes! lie in every time!, haha! Sad thing is, thats probably not true as I am now a fully fledged Chart Stalker and I mean business!!
I think ill be setting my alarm for 7.30am tomorrow then!

Oddly my temp dipped and I woke up later. Im sure its nothing though, not too close to ovulation yet never mind testing.

Hi all,

Gypsy, I use the CB digital ov tests too to confirm the lh surge when I get a strong line on the cheapies. I got a smiley face on 2 consecutive days this month, so yes it should detect the surge over a couple of days if that applies to you.

It usually does affect your temps one way or another if you take it at different times. I still set my alarm for 6 am even at the weekends but I usually go back to sleep OK.

YES!! I did POAS earlier! I think I had a rogue batch last time as every time I have tested Ive had a + I cant be fertile all the time! If I was I should be pregnant by now ffs!! I have a new batch of OPKs though, think Ill start using them tomorrow.

I think I am approaching ovulation, CM is getting creamier and Im getting my mid cycle horniness! Unfortunately OH has man flu so Im getting none He better be better soon or thats another month out the window!

Also, how can you tell the difference between EWCM or at least watery CM and well the wetness you get when you are in the mood for lovin?

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
I have another question about ovulation sticks!
I've been testing for the last few days, and there hasn't been any line at all. Today there is a line, it's fainter than the control line so I know it's negative, but does that mean the hormone it tests for is starting to build up? Do I assume ovulation is on it's way sometime soon?

Loola - I normally know when mines EGWM because it's a bit more solid than what I produce when I'm in the mood! My EWCM is almost like clear jelly that is very stretch whereas the other stuff is a bit more liquid and doesn't have as much solidity.....hope that makes sense! I can also tell the difference because I produce EWCM while I'm at work and I definately don't produce any of the other while I'm there!!!

KMAC - the faimt line probably means your LH is building up. When I do OPK's my lines get stronger over a few days until I finally get a + so keep with it and it means that your probably really fertile now it's a good chance to get lots of BDing in.

well i couldnt get dh out of bed untill mid day
first we had to take the car to the garage, then walk down to the shops, the girls were cold and starving so we went to pizza hut, then went to asda so we are just back, anyway i had saved some fmu, not sure if it can be kept that long it was a bfp with asda test, so i will test again tomorrow to make sure it gets stronger. I dont really want to celebrate yet until i get it confirmed with a digital, af isnt due for another 4 days so anything could happen

Evening girls!!

Just a quick question (im not temping yet...), my cycles are averaging 26 days now, would you say that ov is probably around day 10-13 as I havent had a positive opk yet, well there was a faint line yesterday and that isnt supposed to count is it? its supposed to be as dark as the control line I thought.
