Chart Stalkers January 2008

Morning all

Claire that is amazing, I hope it comes true for you! I have always said I would love four (I am one of 3) and OH has said no to that (he is one of 4).

Kitty so sorry about your friend :( I hope things are better for you today, calmer and that you're getting over your cold.

How is everyone else? Recovering from ov and bding I hope

No news here, woke up with an evil headache and a temp drop although still considerably above coverline.

MOrning all,

Kitty - so sorry to hear your news. I hope that it is not too stressful. Although that seems unlikely. Hope DH is ok to.

ROM - It's nice that you had a good appointment :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Glad that you now have some closure.

Everyone else

Well FF is saying maybe I Oed between CD25 and 27. I am thinking possibly 26. I stuffed up the ferning micro though so if I did fern I missed the full ferning.    ANd the OPKs were like last month. There was one almost as strong as control but no true +. So in FF I marked the almost + as a +. Since I have had nothing. And no EWCM. I was getting that 3 or 4 months ago but now no, so dunno what's going on there...

And my temps are really low??? It's all quite confusing and I am sick of it really.

Afternoon ladies - Bit of a late post for me today....been too damn busy at work all day!!!

Sookie - Know what you mean about charts....somethimes it's more confusing that if you weren't but I think on the whole you generally have a clearer picture of what's going on so it's worth it in the end. Looking at your chart I would be inclined to say that day 26 is the most probably day but it will probably get clearer as you put more temps in.

Kitty - So sorry to hear your having a rough time  thanks for the offer about sorting my charts out. I had another go last night and it's set it up right for me this time so I just need to go through putting all my temps back in again. Thanks anyway

CB23 - still looking good for you... Are you going to be our 2nd chart stalkers BFP in less than a month. Lets hope so

Babydust - I got my Cheri prediction a few weeks back and she said she saw January as being my month for either conception, BFP or birth. I OV'd on 4th of this month and will be testing around 20th time so fx she's right  On the other hand if it's birth month then I've got a few more months before I even conceive!!! :( It's good fun when you get one though.

KayKav -  hello and welcome to charting central. Hope you enjoy charting as much as we do. If you need any advice or help just give us a shout.

   to anyone else I've missed. Better get back to work now my boss is due out of her meeting in 5 minutes....

Sookie I'd agree with 26 as ov day but it is always difficult when there are only a couple of post ov temps.

Chrissy fingers crossed that its a January BFP!

Well no BFP for me as spotting now, bang on time for AF due tomorrow, and I normally get spotting the day before. The only good news is that since mc I will have had one 11 day LP (the first cycle) and then two 14 days LP's since so I guess I can exclude cycle 1 from my stats!

Thanks everyone

  CB23. Well, you've served your three months' time now - so hopefully everything's back to normal, and you'll conceive this coming cycle  And it's good news about the 14-day luteal phase, at least you won't be worrying about that.

Sookie - what did you do on Friday night to get that temp spike? or is that an unexplainable? I think that might be causing FF to hesitate, too. Hopefully tomorrow's temp should give you CH, I'd go with CD26 too - it's just that Friday temp that confuses matters

Chrissy1 - Yay! Glad you sorted it.

babydust - maybe the next one will turn out to be the next two - TWINS!

Everyone else  And tell me if your chart needs looking at!

things are a bit better here - my cold is on the way out, just coughing lots today. I seem to get 3-day colds - really bad whilst they last, but of a lot shorter duration than everyone else. Several friends have said that this cold has lasted a couple of weeks for them. Oh well, I'd rather get it all over and done with quickly. Maybe my colds are like me - impatient to move on!

AF, on the other hand, is not at all keen to move on. It's the weirdest period ever. After I posted that it had arrived and entering it as Light in FF, I switched from liners to a towel on Monday, and then - nothing. Yesterday and today I've been using liners again, and on the liners there's been very little, just occasional spotting - but when I wipe there's quite a lot of really old dry black/brown stuff with occasional brown water. Anyone ever had anything like this? I don't know if it's because the cycle was so long (I'm now on CD 3/38), and therefore it's a few days older than normal for me - or whether the hormone jiggling the doctor said was going on last cycle meant that the lining didn't build/disintegrate as usual. Or whether the cycle was indeed anovulatory, and this is not a period but anovulatory bleeding - but I don't think that's likely, and my doctor thought the chart showed I'd ovulated at some point, just it wasn't clear when.

In the meantime, my temps have obviously been affected by the cold - I've got post-O temps, finally! In fact, if I merge these three days into last month's chart, it would look like I ov'ed on the day of light bleeding

Oh, and my mother is now coming to Paris with me for the funeral tomorrow, so I won't have to spend 5 hours by myself in the Gare du Nord afterwards waiting for the train home, TG. She's staying with us tomorrow night and Friday night, and we're driving her home on Saturday, so I'm going to be off-forum from tomorrow morning through to Sunday. Don't panic, I'll be back

Firstly can I be a bit self indulgent here I just want to tell you all what a wonderful friend Kitty has been to me over the past 24 hours - when we got my blood results back from last thursday's tests my hcg had risen to 5!! Sent us all into complete panic - they were worried that I had ovulated on 24th December and managed with just 2 beddings to catch the egg!! I was nearly out of my mind with worry but Kitty true to form stayed really patient and calm and pm'd me several times with informative and much needed information........ My second test results today shows that the level has dropped to under 1 (there is still a thought we may have managed to fertilise an egg but with the truama my uterus has been going through it was not able to implant properly) and I have started to spot with the likelihood of my first proper AF starting tomorrow since July!! The consultant is happy for us to ttc when ever we want if indeed AF starts tomorrow but the jury is out on that one at the moment...... :D

Anyway I just want to say without all of you and definately Kitty I would have lost my marbles some time ago so thank you all so much for your support and I'm looking forward now to seeing lots of BFP's for you ladies soon I really think we all deserve it......

aaaaaaw

And I thought I'd got past the point of being embarrassed by anything I read on this forum!

Really pleased everything's turned out ok for you

Awwww, that's lovely ROM. Kitty you are a star!

So glad that you will be able to get back to TTC straight away ROM. I hope you get your BFP very soon.

Isn't it fab seeing all the BFPs rolling in...sending positive vibes out to the rest of us still TTC.

Sorry you started spotting today CB23, until AF gets here, lets hope she doesn't. You're still in with a shout.

I took my user override off my chart today and lo and behold it now has me as having ov'd on Sunday which sounds much more like it to me. Frustrating when you do all you can to get a BFP in terms of timing but it just doesn't happen for us :wall:

It's my birthday on Monday, hope I get a belated pressie :D

I really hope so Bagpuss, happy birthday for then and good luck

It is amazing seeing all these BFP's, especially for all of those who had been TTC for some time. It does give me so much hope.

Morning all

Loola how you getting on with your first month charting?

Bagpuss when is your birthday? This Monday or the following (is that 14th or 21st?). Looks like you timed everything well, hope your 2ww speeds by.

Kitty how are you feeling? I just realised no-one replied to you asking re your AF being unusual. I don't really know - it does seems a very short and light AF, plus am I right in thinking your temps are still fairly high for you? Hmm I really don't know what to make of it.

Chrissy fingers crossed for you this month, hope your temps keep going up its looking like a nice pattern.

ROM is AF here today? I really hope so!

Sookie what are your temps doing today? Hopefully they are making the ov date a bit clearer.

Claire/Babydust ooh your temps are climbing nicely too - fingers crossed that you and Chrissy will get your BFP's together.

Morning to everyone else!

Restocking the cupboards. Whats the best type of pregnancy tests to order from access diagnostics?

CB23 when I spoke with my doctor yesterday he said he had very little faith in the cheap internet type strips - in fact he recommended that I only use a recognised make like First Response or Clearblue - especially if you test early!! He obviously has no comprehension of how many hpt's I can go through in a month - nearly bankrupted myself over the past 4 months I can tell you!! Having said that I think Kitty has mentioned somewhere on this thread a product called clear something ....... thats the one her doctor uses.

There are sellers on ebay selling 10 First Response tests for under a £5, even with shipping it works out at less than £15. I've ordered some I will let you know what they are like when they come...... :-)

ooh thanks - I will go have a look on ebay. Then again if I have 10 I will use 10

I do think the internet cheapy opk's work OK though as I have no trouble spotting a positive.

Claire :rotfl: I know what you mean - 10 tests in the house am - just 10 empty packets by tea time!!!

I think the thing with the internet tests is that they often show evaps - you are right, you only have to look at Sharne's siggie to see a really + test but they can be very misleading early on. I know now when a test is positive - definately a FR one anyway - when you have a line you have a line!!! You dont need to do that holding it to the window and tilting it every angle..... :D

Morning ladies, how are we all on this dull grey dreary day??? Can't you tell i've got winter blues!!

Is everyones chart ok or does anyone need stalking?? Mine's looking pretty good. I had some really low temps in the couple of days after OV but they've started to rise to more like my normal post OV temps now. I'm now 6 DPO and even though I'm trying to find as many as I can I can't find ANY symptoms!! I know it's way too early but you all know you do it too....... :rotfl: :rotfl: In fact it's only a few more days until I can start POAS again.....whoo hoo :cheer: :cheer:

I've had PG tests from access diagnostics before but for the life of me I can't remember which ones. Even if I did i couldn't tell you if there were any good or not beause I've never had a + on anything! They were good at telling me I wasn't PG if that's any help.

I'm feeling in a really sarcastic mood today.......think I need to get more sleep

  to everyone

:rotfl:

When I was doing that holding it to the window and tilting it every angle thing this month I showed OH and he said 'yes, you can see where the line would be if there was one'. Men just don't get it :rotfl:

Why do we do it??? I have to keep running from room to room with mine just to see if the place where the line should be looks like there could be something there when the light is differnt..... :rotfl: :rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I am convinced that the light from the window in my study is the one with magic poas powers!! and how many of you put it in a drawer and then walk around the kitchen just looking at the drawer out of the corner of your eye for about 3 minutes and then open the drawer pull it out and start again!!! :rotfl: When Dave is in the lounge and he hears the drawers opening and shutting he just shouts "There's no BLOODY LINE" :rotfl:

:rotfl: same here Chrissy

I know everyone says get a digital but I tried that and they're not nearly as much fun. I think I may get a stock of internet cheapies in as well as some first response because then I have something to pee on that isn't wasting too much money.
