Evan slept through last night - 10-7.30 then til half 9. Didn't stop him crying for a nap for the last half an hour. He's just gone down now. I don't know what to do. I didn't get the best sleep last night and he screamed for 20 mins before he went down.

Amy, how often does he nap during the day? Mark can get really ratty if he is overtired. Sometimes i have to sort Anton first so then have to deal with an overtired baby

Sometimes we're lucky if we get an hours worth of naps through the day, others he will sometimes do a 2 hour nap but that is rare at the moment. He's just woken from his nap now.

I can't imagine what it would be like with 2

You see, i know a lot more now, its hard, i wont lie but i know he cant be up more than 1,5 hours or he will put up a fight going to sleep.
Soetimes they are short naps too but he is much happier after. Try noting down his pattern and see what emerges x

This is the battle me and madam are having this week, I know she needs to sleep she thinks otherwise gets overtired and starts shouting and kicking off, took me an hr and a half to get her to sleep yesterday she slept for nearly 2 hrs but was still a cranky pants all night as she'd missed a nap due to the battle.

I'd been working on awake for 2hrs up to this week but going to go for hr and a half awake before nap now, as she's doing more whilst she's awake so is tiring herself out.

Just driven round for 20 mins to get her to sleep lol now sat in car park as I'm 45 mins early to meet up with my mum. Things we do for these babies

I think 1,5 hours at their age is plenty, after that they start getting cranky. Sometimes swing is a.saviour and sometimes i feed him to sleep(no dummy here)

Evan refuses a dummy, boob is now less effective at knocking him out and even the pram over a bumpy path failed yesterday. It's exhausting dancing him off to sleep for every nap. Bouncy chair is failing and he's back on the grumps.

25 mins of bouncing has knocked him out. Really wishing I paid out for a swinging or vibrating one - my leg aches now lol!

I've just ordered a swing for Ella. Can't wait for it to arrive! At the moment I have to bounce her on an exercise ball to get her off to sleep!

H loves his swing and bouncy chair, he often fights his first sleep of the day and the only way I can get him off is in his chair with the vibration on.

Brand new, I've started giving grace puréed banana and she loves it.. But then I have given peach and banana puréed and this is the reaction I got

Oh bless her. Yeah I will try purée of banana, see how he likes it. Can't believe our tiny little babies r growing up so so quickly!! She is so beautiful tho. U must be a very proud mummy!!

Had jack weighed yesterday and he was 12lb 11oz!! He's four and a half months on Friday! Can't believe where the time has gone. Xxx

I do the same! Thighs of steel now! Ada has a swing which she naps in, but I bounce her to sleep before putting her in it! I really need to phase the gym ball out...! x
