I'm the same knopk which is daft cos I'm so full of milk all the time.

Evan is so grumpy in this heat, I don't want to hold him too much cos it's so hot but struggling to find the energy to entertain him. He's a demanding baby most of the time. Good job grandma and grandad help out!
Mark doesnt want to be cuddled when its hot, i feed, put in the swing and he goes off to sleep. Bliss!

He is being a monkey today, sometimes music will send him off, if I'm lucky the bouncy chair will but not today. When he's not fighting it boob is normally the best way. He is conked out in the middle of my bed at the moment

Jack has been a grumpy bum all day. Crying for no reason and just moody bum! It's the heat I think. I'm tired from it tbh . Can't wait for tonight, hopefully he will sleep xxx

Libby took some getting down tonight.

It's cooled right off outside and feels like rain, still red hot inside though.

Had a massive Chinese and a glass of wine :D buttons to myself as OH is fishing. im knackered now and might head off to bed.

Here's madam enjoying some tummy time the other day

Morning Ladies & Babies, hope everyone is well today.

Been up since 5.45am, baby fed and sorted...housework started and washing on...very exciting!

JJ is 12 weeks on Monday...somehow! Unfortunately DH and I arent getting on well at the moment :-( We appear to be fighting over just about everything and its really getting us both down. Even when we give each other a big and tell each other that we wont let it happen again, a couple of hours later we are off again...

We have had an ongoing saga with this family, which has brought alot of stress on...but I dont think thats the only reason...just cant put my finger on it...?

Feel so sad at the moment and I know he does too, but we cant seem to get past it :-(

I've been a happy proud mummy the last 2 nights. Thursday night jack slept from 10pm to 6am. Had a nappy change and feed and went back to sleep from 6.30-10.00 am! Then last night he slept from 10.00-7.15!! It was his 4 month 'birthday' yesterday so maybe we have now turned a corner. Especially as his adjusted age is 2months 3weeks! But I still, for the life of me, get him into any routine during the day! He can be a little bugger. But to be fair I think the heat has completely thrown him off during the day. For example yesterday he was taking 4oz every 2 hours! I'm sure we will get there in the day time too, once it goes back to a normal temperature. On a sadder note I'm still feeling rotten after my mmc on Sunday. I have passed everything now I just need to look after myself and not let myself slip into that dark place. Anyway I Hope all the other babies are ok today. And u all have a lovely day enjoying the weather.

What's everyone up to today?? X

Oh Hun I feel for u I really do. Me and my bf seem to be like this too at the minute. But in our case I know it's me. The poor bloke works 12 hour days with an oven, so in this heat his factory is like 45 degrees . So when he gets home he's tired. But I then get grumpy with him for being lazy . He has one job and that's to loa the dishwasher after tea so I can sort jack. Can't remember the last time he did it. I hope u can work through ur troubles Hun and we r all always here to lend an ear . Big hugs xxxx

Libby's 3 months now brand new.

She is seriously jealous of Daisy's hair PP :)

Cheza I was going to say is it the pressure of the inlaw situation getting to both of you?

There's a chill in the air today so we get to wear something new

Thanks BN and Vinandbella.

I think the inlaw thing might be getting to us - MIL is still acting up...however, I'm not sure if this is the sole reason - we just dont seem to be able to stop bickering and getting on each others nerves...? We have never been like this and have always had a really wonderful relationship...its heartbreaking :-( Hopefully its just a really horrible phase xx

Having a baby is a strain.on the relationship, try talking to each other and dont hold it for too long. Maybe sit down and try to work out how both of you can adapt? Whats your MIL up to?

It's tough Chezza. DH and I have our good and bad days. Unfortunately the days which I need the most support tend to be the days he is tired, stressed and less helpful. All I can suggest is talking as much as you can and remembering this is still a massive adjustment. It will (I bloody hope!) get better with time and as LO grows and gets more interactive.

Well I made a rookie mistake last night. Evan went down for a nap about 7pm. Nothing new but he woke for boob about half 8 and fell back asleep. At half 9 I changed his nappy and he was still conked so I put him to bed. Cue wake up call at half 2 for a feed, then half 5. Unfortunately at half 5 he was wide awake. Gave him boob and put him back down hoping hie'd self-settle. After 10 mins of giggling he started to cry so managed to give him other boob and he fell asleep. By this point I was wide awake and starving. Fortunately he let me sleep until 10.

When should you start imposing a rountine? I am currently leaving Evan in charge, but last night was not good. Should I have woken him from his nap or would that have just ended in a grumpy baby for a few hours? xx

Yeah, I'm interested about when to try & introduce a routine. Also, where do everyone's babies sleep during the day & how do you get them to sleep?
Ella sleeps in our room in a crib next to the bed. During the day she sleeps on the sofa after I have rocked her to sleep or in her pram if she has fallen asleep on a walk.
Our room is on the 2nd floor & I don't yet have a baby monitor so don't really want to leave her up there to nap.

I'm starting to put her in her crib in our room during the day.

I think it's a massive adjustment and its natural to snap and bicker.

I wouldnt try anything before 3 months really. Last time my son fell into routine himself and i followed his lead. They have a big growth spurt around 3 months so it can throw a spanner in the works.
I think its time to look for a breastfeeding necklace, his hands are constantly in the way now!
