***April & May Mummy & Baby***

Thanks Chezza, I am pi**ed off too! Really not sure where our relationship stands TBH, sticking with it for now for Joey's sake but OH speaks to me like cr*p too and he shouts a lot, even when I am feeding Joey (and I tell him repeatedly it is supposed to be calm time for him). xx

Loads of places sell the gliding rockers...try ebay, mothercare, kiddiecare. I got mine from very because i have an account with them and it was next day delivery! I'm a very impatient lady lol

It has literally just arrived! I'm so tempted to try and drag the box upstairs and put it together...but it's fairly heavy and i'll end up at the bottom of the stairs with said box on top of me! Lol

Plus H is napping in his cot and i don't want to wake him. So i'm gonna have to wait for OH to get home. It's going to be a long day....i wanna play!!

You literally just made my day telling me they have them in Very! WOOP *runs off to order* XX

Hahaha your welcome :)

I have to agree! You have enough to deal with at the moment with being a new mummy - he needs to see things from your point of view.

Well my smilie happy boy from this morning has gone and been replaced by a sad, crying little man. His needles have really affected him and I feel so guilty. I've given in and gave him some calpol, he was hot, refusing to feed and so so unsettled. I also feel so guilty about that :( needles suck! X

The twins have their jabs in the morning, that will be fun! Luckily my sister and neice fly in tomorrow for a few days, so more hands to soothe upset babies, yay! I am so excited, my mum is the only family member to meet them so far, and they are 9 weeks tomorrow :)

Good luck with the twins jabs Nikki! They'll be fine...it's always us mummies that take it hardest :-( xx

Hi ladies! Just thought I'd mention, remember to give eBay a thought! I got my glider chair and matching footstool off there for £30 in mint condition! I think it must have been sat in no more that 5 times before I had it lol x

Hun you have so much going on right now and dont deserve this dont stick with him just for Joeys sake. Babys are so sensitive and he will pick up on your stress. Hope you dont mind me saying xx

Hey tinkerbates,

I had a partner just like this. My eldest boys dad was to put it bluntly an arse! Like you i felt i was a single parent and did everything myself. If he gave him one feed a week he banged on like he was father of the year

I stayed with him for a year and a half after having J and i can tell you it was a struggle and i wish i had walked away sooner!

Things were so much easier after he had gone, which is crazyas you'd think some help is better than no help, but it really wasn't. I was so much calmer and the atmosphere was so much lighter at home, me and J soon settled into a routine :) I'm not saying it has always been easy mind.

Hopefully either something will give your OH a kick up the arse or you'll decide to leave him, which is nothing less than he deserves. If you wanna chat you can aways PM me on here.

Well it's that time of night again, time for H to fight his sleep and refuse to go to bed! Lol

I don't get why?! He's had a lovely bath, a massage 5 and half ounces of milk, winded, another belly massage and he's still grumbling in his cot! He pretty obvious he just wants to sleep on me, which is lovely but i'm shattered and i'm teriffied i'm gonna fall asleep with him on me. Or that we'll get into a bad habit of him not settling unless he's on me.

So advise ladies, how do i settle him? I've spent an 45 mins up there so far, i've resorted to laying him on his side so i can pat his bum with out picking him up. He's not upset or crying, just arms and legs everywhere and squalking! lol

Thanks Chezza and Brand new!

I'm taking him to the docs tomorrow

Xxxx

Let us know how it goes BB! Big hugs for Trey xxx

U welcome, I know what it feels like to not know what to do. And I found out about reflux on this forum myself so I know how valuable a little advise can help. Jack literally changed per night once we started on the gaviscon! As chezza said let us know how u get on at the docs xxxx

Hiladies,

Hope all mummies and babies are good!

Trey keeps on bringing up his feeds, it feels like well over an hour after he's eaten he's still doing little burps and bringing up milk. I always burp him halfway thru a bottle feed and some time it seems like he's bought up everything he has taken but then he cries for more food?

He's otherwise a content and happy boy :)

Anyone have any advice or experienced this?

Thanks

Xxxx

Only just spotted this, hope Trey's ok hun. Did you go to the doctor? Xxx

Hey Emma, have you tried walking away and letting him try to self settle?? xxx

Soooo much I've missed here!

Hope Trey is ok!

Emma - as Chezza said, maybe try leaving him alone to self settle? Daisy does the same thing, arms waving, kicking about, for about 5 mins when we put her down, but in the dark and quiet she drops off to sleep no problem! Sleeps beautifully :)

Tinkerbates - sorry you're going through a hard time with OH. Have you tried having a talk with him about how you're feeling? Maybe he needs to hear what a bell end he's being before he'll get his ass in gear? I don't know what to suggest really, but definitely don't stay with him just for Joey's sake - you'll only end up miserable in the long run. :hugs: hope you're ok xx

Tapatalking!
