Evan had tears this morning. First time - I'm oddly excited about it!
Also received his 2 Grobags this morning, he is such a wriggler and he's over the recommended weight for them. I don't think the chunky monkey will last long in his carrycot though!
Seems to be feeding around 2/3 and 6 which is ok. Trying to head to bed for about half 8, but invariably it's more like half 10/11 by the time he and I are settled. Starting to feel like I'm coping better now, and feel less bad about handing him over to my mum or dad to have half an hour to myself.
DH is struggling though, with being back at work (he hates his job) and then Evan crying and him not being able to soothe him. Think he's struggling with the fact that his life can't go back to normal and he will have to make some sacrifices.
Hey Amy

Glad you are feeling a little better today! Glad to hear Evan is doing well too

My hubby went back to work today too...and despite him loving his job, he hates being there and wants to come home! Bless...cant imagine being separated from Joshua this early on - I really do feel sorry for the daddies.
I think it's great that you have a little bit of extra support from your parents - if you are able to take an hour or two to sleep / shower / chill out - then you should - a sane happy mum = a happy baby at the end of the day! If I lived with my parents, I would be doing the same thing.
Did you try Evan on Infacol or anything yet to see if it helps? Joshua has been an angel baby (god, hope I'm not jinxing it now!) since we started giving him a dose before every feed - he is doing really well on it. I am also using a dummy to settle him (something I wasn't keen on doing) - but I am willing to try anything during these first few weeks / months!
