A entertaining M this morningView attachment 39101View attachment 39102

Tapatalking so cant see signatures

i have this playmat, when did your lo become interested in it? Joey cries when I put him on it atm xx

He is 9 weeks today actually, i.have been putting him on it for a while but probably couple of weeks ago he started trying to touch stuff. I.put other high.contrast toys on as babies recognise black/white patters first.

Go you pandabear I'm desperate to get my weight back under control! Went to an hour long spin class tonight & it nearly killed me haha! My ass is so sore from that bloody seat lol! Trying to stick with it, it's so hard though lol!

I'll need to try aldi nappies iv heard good things! Asdas little angels have been good for me, really don't like pampers though they always leak!

xxxx

I have found pampers terrible for leaking poo! but i dont rate little angels either. let me know how you get on with aldi please xx

I have a possibly stupid question but ah well lol...

You know when people ask "how many oz's she have now?" well...we fill the bottles to 6oz but when we add the formula it goes to 8oz...so is she on 6 or 8? *blush*

She's on 6oz hun. If there are 6oz of water and 6 scoops of feed then it's 6oz, your milk probably does what mine does when you shake it, it builds up a load of froth on the top making it hard to see the milk level!

Awwww hun, I bet it was a shock for you because he has been so good and I was very jel of you getting so much sleep. It could just be a phase! Ruby is on 3hr feeds still. The odd time she will go shorter or longer. She has just screamed for a bottle, hubby has made one and she is asleep in my arms! Little minx. They r so naughty! You could try upping his feed but he might not want it all. It's trial and error is suppose xxx

Shock isnt the word lol my happy content baby has gone replaced by this right grumpy monster lol

We have upped his milk to 6oz and hes drinking it all but hes only going 3hrs between feeds. x

I am so glad im not the only one with a big eater! i am considering upping J's to 7oz as he is always mouthing for more xx[/QUOTE]

JJ clears 6oz in 20 mins now!! I've been told off by the HV for overfeeding...but if your baby is hungry, you feed him/her don't you!! xx

In the box that you type a message in, there is a button underneath called "Go Advanced" - click it.

Type your message in the main box and then scroll down to a button called "Manage Attachments" - you can browse and upload piccies there. :)

thank you :) xx

exactly i am not starving him! to be fair my hv just laughed at how much he takes and said he is growing well xx

Evan had his jabs today; it was the most horrible cry ever :(.He then slept in the car seat for a bit, had an epic feed, slept on my lap for over 3 hours and then another epic feed. He's now back to sleep on my lap. Poor sausage.

In other news I have had to trim his mullet - bit of a botch job lol

Brilliant!! I wish I could get JJ to wee in my HV's handbag...failing that, if she turns her back, I'll do it instead!! :good:

Would serve her right for making me feel like a bad mum!! I really do not like HV's!! xx

Am i the only one who likes my HV?! lol

She's an old fashioned kinda midwife...one of those 'i have to tell you the guidlines, but we did it differently with our kids and they turned out ok!' She's a great believer in a mother intuition apparently. But we shall see!

My health visitor told me that H was too young to know the difference between his cot and my bed and that he was just a very unsettled baby! I then asked her if she was qualified to work with parents and children, don't think she likes me anymore lol x

I like mine. The one that gave me the red book was awful but luckily my own hv was on hol that week and she's really nice :-)

The do talk a lot of crap sometimes though!!!!

I really don't like mine at all. She told me my house wasn't ideal for a baby because there are too many stairs (I have 3 floors) - yes well, I can purchase stair gates cant I - and she told me I was overfeeding JJ and that his weight had to be monitored weekly.

In our first meeting I had to describe how I made a bottle up, step by step and also had to describe how I changed a nappy and cleaned JJ!

I always feel like a naughty school child in her company - I feel like she is judging me.

I'm dreading my appt with her next Tues. :oooo:
