***April & May Mummy & Baby***

Hello ladies

I haven't been around for a few days. Haven't been up to much just not had chance to get on. Boy do you miss loads when you don't check in for a while.

Amy - Hun don't beat yourself up, Evan isn't old enough to understand anything you've said. Your not alone, I've said some horrible things and shouted when it's been really rough. Motherhood is not easy, especially when sleep deprivation and a mardy baby is involved! I really hope he wakes up one morning a different baby. Hugs to you x x x

Well I've had a good weekend. I went shopping for a nice evening dress on Friday, mum picked the kids up on Saturday, Saturday evening my OH took me for a meal at San pietro (was lush), Sunday my dad came round and put in the post to separate my garden. The dogs have one side and baby has the other. Pick the boys up at 5.30 Sunday, feed, bathed and put them to bed and watched a film. Our perfect weekend was then shattered by a fidgeting baby...

...he went down at 7.30 (attempting a new bedtime) didn't settle properly til 9pm woke at 1am had a bottle resettled by 3 then woke at 5.30 took OH to settle him was finally asleep by 6.30 and awake for the day at 8am!

Can I ask you ladies a question. Have any of LOs been fussing with there bottles? H is mid leap so I'm hoping it's just this leap bothering him. But he's not drinking nearly as much any more. He use to drink 1x6oz bottle and 4-5x5oz bottles in a day. Now I'm lucky if I get 1x5oz bottle the the rest are between 3-4oz! I don't get why?

Also were at doctors today for his dreaded jabs :( on the plus side OH has managed to get half a day off work. So he's going to be on hand if H is overly grumpy, plus he's gonna finish my fencing in the garden! Lol

Hope you all have a good day x x x

Lol knopk...our boys sure know what they want! Enjoy buggyfit today :-)

Hey Emma - sounds like you had a fab weekend! My DH was working all day yesterday, so mine was a bit of a wash out unfortunately. Anyway...yes, JJ gets a little fussy in LEAP times and took less milk...in fact since the last LEAP he dropped a bottle, so only has 4 x 7oz bottles a day now xx

Evan had some veg last night, most of it went in and out again but he had a chomp on a baby sweetcorn and I found some tiny bits in his nappy this morning. Tried him on a fruity cereal this morning but he wasnt really interested. It's difficult trying to feed him when he's grumpy. I've started up on the Gaviscon again just in case. He had stopped being sick, but a couple of ladies have mentioned that the acid may still be coming up - every so often I hear him swallowing something back down.

He seems to have settled back into a 4-5 hour waking at night. Although I'm knackered I love nighttime feeding. He cries, I pick him up, snuggle him into bed with me, feed him, he goes to sleep and I pop him back in the cot. Its just daytime that's the problem...

Well last night was not good up every 90 mins :( knew it would be a bad one with us missing the nap. Managed a bit of a lie in this morning though, she dozed back off in her crib after oh went to work so I closed my eyes!
I'm sure it will screw up the rest of the day sleep wise.

H is almost rolling! He's getting onto his side, he's not got enough umph to push himself all the way over bless him :)

I've just got a letter regarding H 4 month home check, what is this and what will they be looking for? I'm assuming its in regards to his development?

V&B after the night you've had Hun I'm not surprised your still in your pjs! I think I would be too :)

H had a 40 min nap, which is about the norm for him. Gave me enough time to wash, dress, coffee and toast! I've also stuck in a joint of gammon of tea tonight, figured I'd get it done whilst I have a happy baby! It smells amazing! Lol

Xxx

Hi girls. Had a busy weekend so not been on much. Jack has suddenly found his voice and is now doing this funny squealing sound at everything. It gets very tiresome!! But other people think it's funny. It's funny for 10 mins but after him doing it on and off ALL day I start to get a tiny bit annoyed with him. Anyway me and the OH came to a big decision last night, we r gonna start trying for another baby December time. Bit sCary to think about but we always wanted them close. Hope everyone is ok today xx

Well we've just had lunch she was having carrot sticks gummed a much to big a piece of got it stuck gagged and threw up all over  she was doing fab until then.
Try again tomorrow think I'll cook them slightly less.

We're having playtime on our mat then we're going to walk the dogs.

And I've made the decision I'm not driving tonight so it's got to be a massive emergency for me to cone hone.

Finally my Mothercare order of toys came today; a guitar, wobbly cow and spinning musical pop up thing (yep I'm great with the descriptions!) and also got a free Lamaze robot. I could phone Mothercare and tell them they sent me something extra (worth £10.99!) but...

We have had a better day today. One screaming fit before 1st nap and the rest of the day has been good. Not sure whether it's cos I've started the Gaviscon. He had a nap in the car about 12 and went to bed at 7pm with no fight cos he fell asleep on the boob. Maybe he just doesn't want/need naps.

He had a good suck on a stick of apple earlier. Definitely an early favourite

Had a better day with H today feeding wise, we managed 4x5oz bottles a 1x1oz bottle and just before bed as a top up a 2oz bottle. So 23oz I'm total, I'm a bit worried that when it comes time for weaning he'll drop even more of his milk which surely can't be good for him?

He's been in bed since 7pm, fast off too not had to go up at all! It's a whole hour early so I'm fully expecting and early wake up call. But it's his doing, he wouldn't nap it got to 6pm and he decided he was tired so thought I'd take advantage and see how he coped with going to bed early. I may regret the decision later hahaha

Got Harrison's appointment with the pediatrics tomorrow, hopefully be allowed to start with the attempts to get him back onto regular formula, fingers crossed.

Going to watch a film then bed time for me, starting to feel a little tired all ready.

Night night ladies and babies, hope you all sleep well. Xxx

Hi all hope you and your babies are behaving!!!

Well we tried apple today and it went down a treat everytime I put some on the spoon Rian opened his mouth for more still feel very clueless on this weaning don't really know what im doing!! xx

Well last night was a fail, she refused to sleep or take a bottle and just cried :( she was still up with daddy when I got home at 10 her little eyes were all red from crying.

Off to a friend's for a coffee this morning just trying to get Libby to have a snooze now she's laid quietly but not closing her eyes yet.

Morning Ladies,

Early wake up call for us this morning of just before 5am...yawn. It's only 9am and LO is on his second nap after some porridge :-) I wish I could nap during the day...

Its my 8th wedding anniversary today, not really celebrating til the weekend though...getting dressed up and going to a very, very nice place for lunch on Saturday...also taking my parents for a treat as its my mums bday on Thursday :-)

I think Joshie might be entering his next LEAP a few days early. He has become very fussy / clingy over the last few days and DH cant seem to settle him at bedtimes. He also sobs whenever I leave the room...even if DH is there...?? Hmmm...4 weeks of this could be fun!!

xxxxx

Well last night was interesting :/

He was fast of for 7pm he woke twice last night. And demolished 9 and a half ounces! He's also devoured another 5oz this morning so he's had 14 and half ounces already! Considering I've only been getting 20 - 21 oz down him most days he's not doing too bad today.

It's either this leap messing his feeds up or he's going through the 17 week growth spurt bang on date! Lol

He's 4months today, can't believe it! It's going way to fast. And to celebrate his third of a year birthday he's visiting the pediatric doctor at the hospital lol

Hope you all have a good day, we're not doing anything today. Had a shocking nights sleep and my energy has left me :(

Xxx

Chezza - happy anniversary

Emma b - happy 4 months Harrison

I was all ready to take Evan to baby group this morning, but 5 mins before we were going to leave he decided he wanted a nap. Oh well, try again next time! More time to play with our new toys when he wakes though :)

Thanks Amy!

Hope Evan had a nice long nap for you...?

My baby group on a Thursday morning clashes badly with JJ's nap time and although I persevere with going and risk him getting grumpy, I wonder if I am doing the right thing! So far, a week hasn't gone by without him crying...in fact the leader last week told me she is starting to get a bit of a complex about how he is in class lol! Oh well...

I booked private swimming lessons for JJ yesterday - term starts a week on Saturday for 10 weeks. I went with a local recommended instructor instead of Water Babies (national school) and paid £60 less for the term, which I was really pleased with. Cant wait to get my little man under water!! :-)

It's a grey, miserable day down South today...not looking forward to going out shortly...luckily it wont be for long.

Getting a big spicy noodle take out later on, to save cooking...if you cant have a treat on your wedding anniversary, when can you have one!! Yum, cant wait! xx

Happy anniversary Chezza and DH

Hope Evan had a lovely nap.

We've been for a coffee at a friend's this morning, came home tried to feed her she had a bit but was messing either leap or teeth or both grrrrrrr had a cuddle and took her up popped her in her gro bag and in her cot and left her to it. She's fast on :)

Just had jacket spud for lunch and now having a brew then wash the pots and then hopefully another brew :)

Off to a sling meet on Thursday to have a try of some carrier's and see what I fancy

Chezza I get you with baby group nap dilemma ours starts at 9.45 and Libby is asleep but luckily it's only a 5 minute walk so I stroll round when she's woken up.

Fail!! 30 mins and woke. I've cuddled her Fed her and popped her back in her cot but can't see it working.
