E thankfully went straight back to sleep after her 3 am feed, then fed at 6:30 & up for the day afterwards. We're just feeding then I'm going to have to leg it to my baby massage class.

Your night sounds bad V&B. Hope you can have a snooze with The Libster. Why is she waking all the time? Is it this 4 month sleep regression?

Thanks knopk I know it won't last forever and really don't mind her waking for feeds if she wants/needs them it's the hourly wake ups to resettle that are killing me, the annoying part is she can settle herself sometimes.

Libster had 30 mins in the buggy this afternoon I walked for an hr and 1/2 she should have a little snooze on our way to his mums in a bit.

You are right V&B it's the hourly wakes ups. They are a killer. We had a much better night last night but she's developed a cold! Going to get my cal pol plug in and Vicks rub today. Poor angel xx

Ps our normal wake up is 11:30om so don't worry you are not alone xx

Don't know a lot about it knopk?

Yep it's the 4 month sleep regression that seems to have developed into a new routine :( new she'd get me back for being an angel early on.

She's knackered now and won't go to sleep.

I won't get a nap as she won't have one long enough for me to :(

Leaving her on the bed and heading for the shower.

Have you tried massage, V&B? I've just been to my baby massage class and she's conked out! There are certain oils that promote sleep and we did a bit of reflexology too.
Maybe worth a try?

It's a beautiful day today. Am back to wearing my sandals - it's such a treat!

Hello, I haven't been on for a few days as the tapatalk app doesn't seem to be working! and i just cant seem to find the time to log on. ava is having a nap so i thought i would sneak a peak!

Evan only woke up twice last night, and I was in bed just after him at 8.40. Still knackered though. Think his cold has got worse, he sounds really hoarse with his crying. Took me 45 mins to settle him and gave him some calpol.

DH is back to work tomorrow after a week and a half off. Think it was a bit of an eye opener spending all day with Evan. He definitely appreciates me more now...

I might try the cranial osteopathy again with Evan xxx

Ladies do we know what other teething granules are out there to use instead of the gels? I bought the Nelson's teething granules but they contain lactose so are no good for H.

I think his teething is really taking it out of him, he's been so quiet today not his happy bubbly self. His poops are a really dark green?! So has a touch if bellyache according to the HV.

I also told her about H fussing with his bottles, last week he only took 20oz all day and since has only been taking 4oz out of 6oz bottles. She's told he to keep a diary of amounts and sleeps to see if there is a pattern and if he falls below 20oz I am to take him to the doctors as this is the bare minimum for a baby his size/age.

I'm not overly concerned as he's still a gaining weight, and isn't waking in the night anymore than normal. It's just it is a bit odd that he's gone from such a good eater to a fussy begger! Lol

Xxx

Evan has been napping for nearly 2 hours, poor sausage must have been exhausted. Wish I had done something constructive though. I always assume he'll be down for 45 mins max so end up waiting for him to wake

Well woke madam up after an hour thus morning went to play group, went to pub for lunch she fell asleep for 30 mins! Walked home thinking she'd drop back off but nope she's still going she's knackered but gotta give it up to the kid she doesn't give up! Unfortunately gig her mums a stubborn git too!

Will have a look into cranial osteopathy and see.

It's bloody warm today I'm melting!

Gonna have a little play then operation sleep will recomence :)

They are persistent! You are right. Playing might tire her out the little tinker. Rubes is napping. The putting her down awake is working. She went off herself. She's all snotty so husband is going to boots for the plug in.bad night ahead me thinks.

It's not nice up here today. Gorgeous yesterday. Think that's the end of summer now :( roll on Xmas xx

I put Evan down to sleep last night on his front. His new trick is trying to drag himself up the cot. I really hope it won't be long for him to crawl as he is so frustrated by not being able to move around. He loves the door bouncer though, even though he only gets 20 minutes a day and his little legs are always kicking away.

We bought him a little plastic frog toy today which makes sounds when you press and pull bits. He seemed to enjoy but DH and my dad seemed more interested lol!

Hey ladies

It's funny you should mention crawling Amy, I H on his tummy yesterday for tummy time and he kept pulling him leg up and trying to push! Litte tinker isn't even rolling yet he's trying to crawl! Crazy!

On an non baby related matter, has any of you ladies got a washer dryer? At the min a have a separate washer and dryer, but my dryer is sat in the space where a dishwasher would go! I want a shiny dishwasher but don't want to sacrifice the dryer! Lol

Xxx

Afternoon Ladies & Babies!

Had a busy one today - shopping, another nursery tour, cooking and lots of housework...lovely! /the sun has been shining all day though, which helps :-)

What have everyones periods been like since having LO? I had JJ on 29/04, no period in May, one in June, nothing in July, one in August, now "late" for my Sept...?? Slightly worried, but thinking that they are all out of sync anyway...?!?! Hmmmm......xxxx

I thought I had my AF last month but it was just some spotting so nothing resembling it yet. I think it takes quite a while for normality to resume though but maybe...

Tried Evan on baby rice tonight after 10 days off and he actually ate it. We've had more sick today so hoping this will help things.
