***April & May Mummy & Baby***

Today I will be a zombie mummy...up every 30 mins since 2am :-( And I have to go into work for a meeting at 10am...thanks Joshie :-(

Oh no Chezza. Poor you. What's wrong with JJ?

I've just got up with a crying baby. Bundled her out quickly but she still woke OH. In my haste, I made her do a massive burped, which seems to have. been her problem ha ha! Am now feeding her & I'm off on a run. Really don't feel like it at the mo as I'm knackered & it's still dark. It's so depressing!

Oh chezza that's not like jj? Has he still not pooped? Hope u r not to tired for your meeting today xxx

Well my little jack is still fast asleep and didn't wake earlier than I predicted. I'm awake because my oh woke me up as he was getting ready for work! Grrr. Hope jacks teeth aren't bothering him as much today. It's so much harder when I'm on my own. Need to go for a long walk if he is as he always has a good sleep in his pram. Xxx

Ah chezza that's not good!!!

BN- glass to hear lo is still asleep

I feel like a new woman after sleeping most of yesterday and then 8 hrs last night - definitely seem to have slept that very nasty tummy bug off and now I'm starving!!!! Thankfully Freddie was so tired from no naps yesterday he's still asleep and I'm going to try and keep it that way until 9!!!!

These poor little babies- they must be going through a spurt for all of them to be struggling to sleep as well as normal?? X

Nope...still no poop since Friday night... And Friday was the first day of having no comfort milk - I've been weaning him off it for about 6 weeks now. Last night was awful, he wouldn't settle properly to begin with and then he was pretty much awake every 30 mins from 2am...I hate to think of him in pain with constipation!! He's still drinking his milk without any problems though. I've tried tummy massage, cooled boiled water etc , neither if which is working??? Any further tips ladies?? xxx

Poor JJ. Havent done this but i know doctors advise tiny bit of OJ with water if its really bad. Hope he goes soon.
Mark only goes once a week but its normal for him.

Tapatalking so cant see signatures

Morning all,

Oh poor JJ a nice warm bath might help ?
Had a bad time getting her to bed last night first she couldn't breath with this damn cold so squirted her nose then she was screaming and screaming then she did a massive burp and fell asleep on my shoulder in minutes. Woke again at then went till 2 then 5.30 and up now she's been awake since about 7.15 could hear her farting and laughing at OH whilst he was getting ready

I had a bad night. Fed at 10:30, 4:30, then she woke up crying at 6 so i fed her again. She cried afterwards too. I wanted to go for a run before OH went to work so had to go then. I woke him to ask if he wanted me to stay & look after the baby or if i was ok to go. He said it was fine to go & just leave E in bed with him. When i came back he said how annoying it was that I'd woken him up & should have just put her in bed with him. Um no, that's so dangerous! He then burnt his mouth on tea & left the house in a mood without even saying goodbye. That's put me in a bad mood for the day now.

Chezza: I sometimes use a homeopathic suppository for E if she's really bad. Laying her on the changing mat and bringing her knees right up to her stomach in circular movements also works, as does a bot of reflexology on her feet where the stomach is. Circular clockwise movements on the ball of the foot below the big toe.

She's dropped off on our bed.

Got to wait in for stuff being delivered from bt, so will be doing jobs today.

Off to get ready whilst madam is down.

Whoop whoop....we have poop!!!! I never thought I'd b so glad to see a big messy nappy!! :-)

Thanks for all the tips ladies...I'll keep them in mind for next time! I got so used to him going 4 or 5 times a day whilst on comfort milk, that those 3 days seemed like an eternity lol!! Hopefully he will now settle into a better pooping routine :-)

Still feeling like a zombie...just feeding LO, then I need to smarten myself up a bit and head into work...bleurgh...looking forward to hitting the sofa when I get back! Although, 8 weeks today it will be my first day back in the office and that is terrifying :-( xxx

Hope today goes well Chezza and yay for the poop! Evan took out a babygro yesterday after 48 hours with no poop!

Well he went down easily last night but woke up after an hour and needed cuddles, then up at 1.20, 3.30 and 6.10. DH got up with him at 7.20 so I got a lie in. He's now snoozing after boob on our bed.

I had a crap night also but H isn't to blame. I had/have a flipping migraine. For some reason my body has decided I deserve to have a migraine alongside my periods each month, mother nature is a bitch!

Luckily though my MIL has come and swept H away for the day so I'm heading up to bed to sleep it off.

Considering H drank very little thought out yesterday, 20oz in total, he still slept 8pm til 5am! Clever little man :)

Chezza when H was constipated the doctors gave me lactulose to use, if he struggles again you could ask the doctor about using that? Good luck at work chezza, I don't envy you having to go back. I've decided to take the full year off, and that seems to still be coming round way to fast!

Hope everyone has a better day than me today, hopefully I'll catch up with you all later xxx

She stirred about 10 mins ago left her just gone up to check and she's gone back to sleep! Result.

Fx we are turning a corner.

Sorry MrsH I have no tips at all what works one day has zero effect the next day.
I've not changed anything at all that we've done since day one and now nothing works lol managed to boob her to sleep yesterday afternoon for the first time in ages (has only fell asleep on boob at bedtime and through the night)

Got my Christmas skipper socks on today as my ankles got cold in my slippers

Vin I love the socks!! C'mon Christmas. Well jack slept from 10.15pm - 9.15am!! And he missed two whole bottles yesterday so only drank about 14oz all day. But his teeth were causing him so much pain. But today he had a bottle at 9.45 and is currently asleep again!! Wonder when he'll wake up? Xx

Well I think madam has woken she's got her eyes open done stretches but is stilled laid quietly so I'm going to leave her 10 minutes, 2hrs 20 that nap stands at so far!

Off into her room to do some clothes sorting.

V&B - rubes is waking now out of habit so I'm encouraging her to settle herself during the night (she does it for her naps). She doesn't wake up crying, it's just a tiny whinge so now we leave her longer and don't get her out of the cot. In the end she does
go back to sleep. So we just pop the dummy in to encourage her. Now going to persevere with it xx
