Not hourly last night thank god slept till 12 then 3,5 6.30 then 7.30 however she's fallen asleep on boob again.

Like the look of the toddle pods only problem is the dogs would think it's a dog bed. Think I might see where I can pick one up cheaply

Forgot she seems snottier this morning attacked her with nasal aspirator and sucked out huge snotty goo! I thought it was good fun she hated it and screamed like I was torturing her lol

We had a snotty morning too. He is well otherwise just annoyed with the snot. We have a birthday party to attend today, will take him in the carrier so no snotty toddlers come and kiss him(thats how he got his cold, i was quite annoyed with my friend because of this).
I survived this week, not sure how the next will go. Had physio yesterday and got stretching exercises to do.

Jack again slept from 10-7! But he is still not interested in eating. I try something different everyday. But he just gags and spits it out. So he is obviously not ready. He is still just taking 5oz every 3 hours but is vey happy and content so I'm not worried. I'll give him a few more weeks then I may take him to the doctors Just to check that all is ok. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. I'm going to a carnival this evening. I went last year and it was amazing so going this year. Will have to wrap jack up warm. But he loves being out in his pushchair in he evening. Think its all the bright lights! He will love tonight. I'm so excited. Xx

Ah, sounds great, i dont remember the last time i went out in the evening lol.
Mark is very interested in food, grabbing stuff if i am eating and managed to lick my banana but his hand-eye coordination isnt there yet so i am holding off - he is 5 months now. I am in no rush to wean, i know what its like.
I dont really want to bother with purees either, by 6 months they can hsndle textures so a lot easier. Mark is still following his birth centile so i am not worried

I'm getting quite excited about weaning Ella. Maybe it's just naive optimism bit ay the moment I'm looking forward to it!

Left E with OH this morning & went to my swimming training. Is nice to get away for a few hours. Love the first smile when you come back! I had glasses on that I need for driving & she didn't smile until I took them off! Probably wondered who this strange woman was staring at her!

Well we had a good night which really surprised me!!

Rian is so not himself today all hes doing is sleeping bless him think hes still catching up from yesterday bless him.

Hate seeing him under the weather wish I could do more xx

Afternoon Ladies!

Had a great day so far even though I've been up since 04.50am lol...JJ fancied giving us an early morning wake up call.

Had a great shopping trip out this morning to Kiddicare, picked up a bumper load of nappies, a couple of toys, some more cassettes for the nappy bin and also picked up a Halloween outfit for my LO> It's a black sleepsuit with a white skeleton body print...glow in the dark lol!! Cant wait to try it out on him!! xxx

Been out to a 1st birthday this afternoon the sun shone Libby made friends mummy had a glass of wine
Just ordered Chinese madams kicking about on her mat having a play.

Nothing planned for tomorrow nice lazy family day I think

I'm at a friend's house warming party but am having a nightmare. E was really screaming so took her for a walk until she fell asleep. She lasted half an hour then woke up screaming again. Am just feeding her to see if that settles her, if not we're off home. It was an hour's drive here too

Had a gorgeous dinner tonight - bratwurst with curried ketchup and an onion and chilli salsa...yum!! Couple of glasses of red wine and now settled watching Iron Man (Robert DJ...SWOON!) - perfect

Last night in Scotland and DHs family are having a party. Evan got overtired and screamed. Finally down now but I just bawled my eyes out and am hiding in our room now cos I can't face anyone

Oh no hun. I always have Mark in the carrier at parties now otherwise people want to hold him/he gets overtired and becomes a monster. Cold water on your face and a glass of vino wont hurt x

He is asleep but there are about 10 kids running around screaming so he's woke once already. I'm beyond knackered myself and the party clearly won't end for hours. We have a 7 hour drive tomorrow and if Evan is in a crap mood then I think I will just cry the whole way. I'm tempted to take Evan to the car if he wakes again for some quiet.

Do whatever you have to do to keep both yourself and Evan calm and happy...if that means both going out to the car for a bit, then take a couple of big blankets and go for snuggles in the car.
