I'm going out to buy Sophie for Freddie today, he has the nuby teething thingy but it's too fiddly for him to keep it in his mouth.

I've always felt blessed that I have such a calm and lovely mannered son, but yesterday he was DEVIL BABY!!!!!

Aw ww I don't mean that but omg it was so tough, he woke up screaming at 7.30 and never really calmed down. Had last lot of jabs and that made things worse!!! No idea if he was hungry from the day before (only had four feeds), or teething, or a night terror, or his jabs, or just a combination of all the above! He just wasn't happy unless he was climbing all over me.

He seems much much happier this morning and after staying in for the last three days (I had a TWO day hangover from wedding) I think he'll be happy to get out of the house!!!

Any other tips for teething? Anyone use bonjela? How do I get it on his gums without his licking it all off my fingers?

Hey jolly

I got these teether things from Asda. They resemble a gum shield only in a dummy style. The bit that goes in the mouth is very hard I have been thinking when the time comes i might use the bonjela on this and just pop it in his mouth to bit on?! In theory it should work lol I'm not sure what there called but I'll take a picture if it when I get back and post it on here

Well looks can be deceiving that first poo was big went in the shower went in her room to get ready so I could chat to her whilst she was in her cot and thought what's that smell my god it was a huuugggggeeeeeee poo that smelled well like poo it was vile how can my gorgeous wee girlie do something like that!

In jumperoo now whilst I quickly wash up before heading out for the day.

Got our little outfit on from next it's well cute.

Evan woke 4 times the last 2 nights, that's not including the 2 times he woke within 2 hours of going to bed. I feel rubbish.

Weather is miserable up here although might drive down to Inverary Castle and jail.

Is it bedtime yet?! xxx

Hey Emma - yes, I've seen that activity tray...wanted to see how he gets on with the snug first though. It arrived this morning...I've cleaned it and it's ready to be tested...WAKE UP JJ!!! Lol

Jolly - I found Nelsons teething granules to be good for what seemed like mild pain - at the mo I'm using calgel - put a splodge on your finger and rub it into LO's gums - top and bottom. It's a little messy, but does the job.

Bless you Amy!! I hoped the Scottish air would knock Evan out. Are you having a nice time...?

Well, it was week 2 of Sing and Sign...this week Joshie screamed through the first 10 mins, did a big poop, then fell asleep. I think he's really enjoying the classes... xxx

Chezza, he is clearly enjoying it lol.
Tbh i didnt do classes early on because of this. Having said that, was planning to go to one at local childrens centre but hospital phoned me re physio slot cancellation so took that instead(my ankles).
Sorry not really on much, been quite hard with both children this week - my toddler has truly hit terrible 2s. All i can say is try and enjoy the baby stage.
Have a cold too which doesnt help, thankfully Mark is ok (for once a benefit of BFing, not just mastitis and fighting the boob).

I think i will be trying to express next week and let DH try and feed Mark, he loves playing with daddy but falling asleep he only wants me!

Lol haha chezza I spat my drink out reading that! Seems JJ is settling in well at his classes hahaha kinda sounds like my battle with H this afternoon. Took him to baby massage, which was cancelled but they held a stay and play group instead so not completely wasted. H smiled for the first 5 mins, screamed the next 10 mins drank his bottle then fell asleep! On the plus side it was nice to have adult conversation

H is still not right I think it's his teeth but not 100% sure. He keeps grabbing his ear too so I'm taking him to the doctors drop in clinic at 4pm hate seeing him in pain. I caved and gave the little guy some calpol, he's now conked out asleep. Hopefully he'll have a good nap now as he's not sleeping much.

My friend bought the bumbo seat and tray round cleaned it up and it's ready to go. But can't see us using it today I'm gonna buy some hairchair toys to stick to it, hopefully he'll like it, unlike the jumperoo which is currently collecting dust! Lol haha

That outfit is well cute V&B. I'm in town shopping at the moment & have got E some cute Superman slipper socks from H&M. Also got myself some pjs & a dressing gown. I have a bot of an obsession with pjs, I'm always buying them!

Well done with your class, Chezza! Better than last week Next week you might actually be able to participate! Were the muns nicer this week?

I had my baby massage class on Tues. Was really good fun & E loved it. I had down a plastic changing mat that she weed on. Thank goodness there were no bottom explosions!

Well Harry is full of a cold. Went the chemist this morning and stocked up on nasal drops and calpol. Can't believe he is poorly the day before we go away. He had a bad night last night but today he's not been too bad. A few grumpy moments and some "feel sorry for me" tears. But he's also played and given me some lovely giggles and smiles. It's horrible seeing him poorly though.

Sorry to hear there is loads of sniffles going about...hoping to avoid it here!! Rhys is snoozing away...wee drool monster just now with his teeth coming in...the two bottom ones have came through together lol sore now that he bites!!

Chezza - No major plans for my sis being home plenty of nights out, dinners, lunching, catching up with fam & friends and of course seeing her little nephew! Tracking her flight just now it's like Christmas eve lol me & the fam off to the airport early in the morning to welcome her

Jolly I've got bonjela gel and its good we get it all over as Libs doesn't open her mouth for it.

Don't think tonight's going to be a good one a 30 min nap in the car this morning 40 mins in the buggy been trying to get to sleep for an hour 45 mins rocking/boob had to give in and put her I swing as my legs back and arms had given up!

Well I knew it every 90 mins she woke from going to bed to 7.30 this morning! I think it's a lot to do with naps so today we are going swimming but not doing anything else we ARE going to have a good nap day!!

So it's swimming today can't wait need to jump in the bath and shave my legs but first it's cuddles in bed and feeding time.

The sun looks like its out ATM looks chilly though.

Enjoy swimming V&B and Libby! We start water babies lessons next week, terrified about "dunking" him, but apparently they take to it quite easily..? Eeeeek!

Well, tis Friday and we have a very busy day ahead of us! A nursery show round this morning (sob!), then getting Joshie weighed at midday...another nursery tour at 14.00pm, then shopping being delivery a little after that.

I am determined to have a nice evening in with DH tonight!!!! So once Joshie has gone to bed, I am cooking a nice thai dinner, opening a bottle of red and hopefully getting an early night...

Yay it's Friday and I'm off on holiday!

Chezza I love Thai food but it doesn't agree with H I miss exciting meals.

V&b H fights his sleeps. More often or not I have to resort to pushing him up and down the hall in his pram.

He's still full of a cold but in hoping it's not going to get any worse.
