***April & May Mummy & Baby***

Yay it's Friday and I'm off on holiday! :)

Chezza I love Thai food but it doesn't agree with H :( I miss exciting meals.

V&b H fights his sleeps. More often or not I have to resort to pushing him up and down the hall in his pram.

He's still full of a cold but in hoping it's not going to get any worse.

Have a fab weekend ladies and babies xx

Have a fantastic holiday stargirl....looking forward to seeing photos and hearing all about it! xxx

Have a fab holiday stargirl!

Chezza first lesson the instructor dunked her. I did it last week 3 times she never batted an eyelid I was bricking it before I did it but when it came to doing it I was fine :) might be a different story today with the snot but we'll see. I love Thai :)

I can't believe how bad our nights are compared to what she used to be :( I will fix it just don't know how first step is to sort naps out, if needs be she'll go in buggy and I'll walk round the village for an hour. It's the timing she needs a little snooze about 4/5 pm to keep her going till bed time so she's not overtired going to bed.

Well she's asleep in the middle of my bed covered in a blanket her taggies book, mr giraffe, teddy and rabbit might have to try that at bed time lol

V&B - have you tried Libby on a big comfy cushion for nap time...? Even though my LO is a good sleeper over night, he would raise the dead with the amount of protesting he does, if I try and put him in his cot during the day.

My "naptime secret" is a big comfy memory foam cushion (formerly bought to use as a dog bed that my westie turned his nose up at!) - he has 3 naps a day on it - without fail.

It's like a toddle pod really...?? Worth a go maybe...?? JJ sleeps better at night if he has napped a lot during the day xxx

Well I e also had a busy morning. We have a viewing on our house later on this afternoon so been cleaning to get it up to 'viewing' standard. Hope this person wants to buy at as we r seriously running out of room! Jack has so much stuff! Hope everyone is ok today. Jack did a mammoth sleep for him lay night. He had his last bottle at 10pm as always and then slept till 7am! I fed him a 5oz bottle and he fell asleep half way through , I popped him back in his Moses basket and he then slept till 10.15. As did I!!! Lazy bones we are. Xxx

Feeeeeccccccccckkkkkkkk!

Nipped to get me a cheeky McDonald's on my way back from swimming and the radiator has exploded on my car!
So currently sat in the car park waiting for mr recovery man.

I'll have a look at something like that Chezza I'm at my wits end with her, she's asleep in the back of the car at the minute and is going to wake up starving. She's been asleep for an hour though so every cloud lol

A bit of a depressing post. Me and OH had a bit of a spat last night and i spent most of the night either crying silently into my pillow or sobbing whilst feeding H. All while OH slept blissfully next to me. We had words this morning and kinda sorted it he apologised and didn't realise i taken what he said so personally, which is great. But i still feel emotionally and physically drained and can't stop thinking and over processing things.

Also to top it off Harrison is teething and its causing ear ache so he's grumpy most if the time. He's also going through his 17 week growth spurt a week early I think...he's drinking loads. In the space of 6-7 hours he's drank about 15oz!! That's not including the 5oz bottle he had in the early hours, the 6oz bottle he had at 6.30am. He's due to have at least another 2 bottles before bed! He's currently laid on the sofa really fighting his nap, he's getting himself so worked up :/

Oh hugs Emma xx

Hope the nursery search had gone ok Chezza

Libby's just had 30 min snooze in the car and we're sat outside chippy waiting for OH.

Evan is in bed at 6.15! I feel this could be another long night, it seems 4 times a night is now the norm. Back home on Sun and seriously considering co-sleeping if this continues.

Hugs Emma

Hugs V&B, not having much luck are you

Hope the house viewing went well BN...? Not impressed with Masterchef so far - I have tonights to catch up on, but I think they did a Master Class too early..?? Hmmm.

V&B - goodness me!!! Hope you weren't waiting around too long...? Poor car :-( How's Libby getting on...? I hope that if you do use a big cushiony type thing, that it does work!! Have everything crossed for you.

Emma - sorry to hear that. Can totally empathise with your situation at the moment. There must be something in the air :-( How are things this evening...? Hugs x

Hey Amy - missed you this week - hope you are having a nice time?? Jeez, 4 times a night...we really need to order in a bulk order of sleepy dust for these babies!!

You may have seen another thread re: Nursery's...have a read if you have a mo. Shocking re: charges etc...!! I needed a rather large glass of red wine to get over it ;-) xxx

We have nothing but bad luck with cars used to it, scared the bejesus out of me went with a right bang, recovery guys were fab with me in about 30 mins gave Libster long enough to finish her nap.

She's in bed for how long is anyone's guess.

I just don't know what to do with the nap situation she used to drop of after feed and have about 20 - 30 mins every 2 ish hours. She doesn't fall asleep on me after a feed anymore just looks at me as if to say what's next mum. Unless its bed time then she zonks out on boobie.

Was wondering about a bean bag type thing, lol at JJ getting the dogs cast offs :D
Will head off to look at the nursery threads

He he...I know. Lucky little man getting my dogs rejected cushion!!! Bad mummy....!!! xx

Oh yes...and my "little" man now weighs 20lbs 12oz and no longer fits on his changing table...he's just too long!

Am now looking for some nice storage boxes to put on the lower level, to store things away...I was hoping to get more than 5 months use out of it lol! xx

Theres deffo something in the air with our OH at the moment :shakehead:

Well today has been just awfull. I had a wedding party in this morning for nails so hubby had Rian and he screamed none stop nothing would soothe him its horrible. His teeth are giving him so much pain its unreal I feel so helpless just now

Thanks ladies :)

Me and OH had another talk this evening and all is good now, he's realised he was an insensitive twat and apologised. I think I may have took what he said a little more to heart than I normally would have as I'm over tired and due on my period, but I'm not about to admit that to him lol

Well H has been in bed since 8 and he wasn't a happy chappy. He refused his 6oclock bottle and he usually has a top up at 7.30 and refused that also I managed to get down him 3oz in total and that's since 3pm :( I also relented and gave the poor mite a dose of calpol but even when he started to perk up he still refused his milk, so it's anyone's guess and and how many times he's gong to be up tonight. It's OH turn with him but I have a feeling I'll still be loitering in the door way lol

Also i think H may be getting interested more in food, he was really stirring at me eating my ham salad earlier. So I naughtily rubbed cucumber along his lips he gave it a lick and frowned so not sure what he made of it lol. Still going to hold off for a while yet I think. I know he ate more today in the day but I want to be sure he's ready for weaning and it's not just a growth spurt, if that makes sense?! I'm not even sure how I'll know, I guess he'll tell me?!

Lol chezza over 20lb he really isn't so little anymore?! And I'm sure JJ loves his dog bed ;) I hope you have lots of pictures to show him, you know if a HV saw it they'd probably have a fit! Lol haha

Wow V&B what a evening, glad everyone was ok. We not having much look with our car sized paper weight at the moment. Still I suppose the good thing for you was Libby got a decent nap! Now you know the trick to getting her to sleep, have your car break down! Lol

Amy other than the lack of sleep i hope your enjoying your holiday?

Anyhow I hope everyone has a good night, and I pray our little ones let us sleep. I'm going to bed now, after last night I feel like I could sleep for a week! Lol

Night night sleep dust to all x x x x

Just quickly.

Shell Hun your not alone :( my lo has started to teeth and its affecting his ears. He has fits of crying and literally pulls his ear. And if he's not pulling it hes wittering and holding it. I've bought some teething bonjela but that doesn't ease his ear ache so I'm having to give him calpol too. Nothing else will sooth him. I spoke to the nurse about it as I was worried about giving him to much but as I'm only giving one dose a day and as and when he needs it, it's ok.

I still feel bad for giving him it, so I've reduced the amount to half, so 1.25ml, and if it works great if not i can give him the other half.

I really wish it didn't affect his ears. Also I bought some nelsons teething granules as I've heard loads of good things about them. Got the, home and read the back....they contain lactose! I can't use them as H is possibly lactose intolerant! I say possibly as its yet to be confirm but he's on lactose Milk. Typical lol

Xxx

Chezza, I'm really not happy with Aussie masterchef this year. And as for having the public in the masterclass. Wtf!!
Anyway yeah the house viewing went really good. And the reason I know this , well.......... I leave my iPad on voice record and leave it on the side. That way when we get home we jus listen to everything the estate agent and client has said!! And tha way the estate agent can't give us any bullshit. And if we hear them not really 'selling' the house I casually mention it in our weekly phone calls! Sneaky huh. But very effective! But fingers crossed for this one. Xx we have funds at the ready to buy a bigger house but no one wants our house? It's abouts 5 min walk from our town. 2 min walk to the train Station. And within five mins u can be on the M4 motorway? But still no one wants it and it's getting very annoying!

Anyway jack has been a little angel today and tonight. He was in a really good mood. He has also learnt to squeal! The cat was led in from of him earlier And he just did this really high pitched weird sound. And i said to my OH, what's he doing? And he said squealing! Then jack wouldn't shut up. But it was so sweet and cute to watch him learn to make this sound! He is growing up too quick. He is 25 weeks old today!! Omg where does the time go. Xxx

Don't know what is wrong with E. I've heard of the 4 month sleep regression bit what about the feeding regression? She now seems incapable of going any longer than 3 hours in between night feeds. Suppose I should be happy she now seems to have stopped waking up crying at 4 so I have to get up with her & take her away from OH.

@ Brandnew: E is coming out with loads of new sounds too. She does this sort of yowly one that sounds like The Cat from Red Dwarf!

@ Chezza: over 20 lbs! Wow! I know JJ is older than E but she was just over 12 lbs at her 15 week checkup!

We are defo not getting any sleep Sophie. Ruby won't go more than three hours at night with out feeding. Our longest stint is 8-11 then up every hour after. She will not settle. We are dye to go to centre parcs in a week with friends and their one year old and no doubt Ruby is going to keep them up too x

2 weeks this problem with sleep has been going on. Does it ever get better? X

Oh dear, Mrs Hope. That sounds worse than me. Ruby has never been. a great sleeper, has she? Hourly wake ups is just awful though.
