***April & May Mummy & Baby***

Aww tambo hugs Hun.

I can't imagine how frustrating it must be, but if he's growing at a steady pace then he must be getting enough for his little body?

Would a trip to the doctors be worth it? Even if it's just to be noted that he has a small appetite and is naturally a small baby? That way the HV have no reason to frown, not that you should care a shit what they think :)

Xxx

Well H slept through the night again :) 8.30- just now, he's waking up as we speak. Clever little boy, just wish he'd do it every night! Lol

Xxxx

Blimey H is a superstar sleeper! Scott is still kinda all over the place, I really need to start making a routine lol.

I was thinking about taking him to the doctors but feel a bit daft taking him when I'm genuinely not concerned, he shows no signs at all of any illness and he is very alert so I know it's just a small appetite problem. I've been through all this crap before with Connor and it really is just bloody annoying. If it carries on though I might have to take him to be checked, eyebrows might be raised if I only take him to be weighed twice a year and he remains a scrawny little thing :( x

Rian is dinky too Tambo 17wks and not 13lbs yet although he feeds for england. XX

Aww tambo my nephew was like this as a baby and even now at nearly 4 he eats like a bird. He's tall, healthy and has bags of energy so my sil doesn't worry.

I don't think I'll ever get a full nights sleep now! And I'm kinda use to getting up 2-3 times a night.

I was just gonna post this!! Harrison is only 14 weeks at his last weigh in he was 14lb 15oz! So well over that now and already out browning some of his 3-6 month clothes.

In fact I have just realised most of his outfits are little shorts/dungarees bought just because I knew I'd get more wear out of them. Does really matter how short shorts are as long as he's not flashing bum cheek haha

Shopping trip is in order today, need to pick him up some trouser and long sleeve tops, winter coat and a dressing gown. Now the weather has turned it's very chilly :(

Xxx

I buy lots of Dungarees too, I just think they hold a nappy better than trousers. I also definitely need to buy some warmer clothes for Scott, he's not out growing them, he's out seasoning them instead lol. Out of my 4 kids it now seems I have 2 that eat me out of house and home and 2 that eat bugger all lol

I've bought and been given a few pairs of jeans for JJ...but they just aren't baby friendly are they?? Dungarees do work quite well...what I really want to find are cute onesies (not sleep suits) for when it's really cold, so I can make sure he is really toasty and snug! May pop out later to go on the hunt! xx

I saw some beautiful fleece onesie's in tk maxx last week and should have bought them, that place is so hit and miss! They never stock the same thing twice and once it's gone its gone x

Currently sat having a coffee mid shopping spree. I've got him 4 outfits and a dressing gown so far. Chezza they had some lovely oneies in mothercare I was going to get H some but they didn't have his size, so I'll be ordering online :)

Tambo I forgot about tkmax lol I'll be heading there next!! Xx

jack is jus 14lb 5oz at nearly 24 weeks old. but he eats for england. but the doctor is pleased with his growth now and he can come off his medicated milk and go on to normal sma! feels like a major milestone after everything we went through when he was first born. xxxx

That's brilliant news brand new, you must be over the moon and so proud of little jack :) xxx

Tambo as you know I go thru the same with Trey! I'll always feed him every 3 hours - apart from at night when he sleeps thru - but out of the 6oz he usually drinks 3 comfortably then I have to force the other 3 lol!

He's still in 0-3 clothes and sometimes even those are too big lol I bought lots of summer stuff in 3-6 months that are just too big and now he'll never wear them, must keep for baby no. 2 lol

I'm actually looking forward to winter - I love cosy sleep suits and thick blankets, I'm always bloody sweating in this heat lol

I want to get him a dressing gown but I've never seen any, where do you get urs?

Xxxxx

Managed to get her back down and get another 45 mins.

Her tummy is doing some right gurgles I think she might have a bit of tummy ache. Cuddles I think.

See you later x

I picked up some more clothing for JJ this morning...and I really want to start picking up a few bits for winter, but I have no idea what size to buy...my boy is just growing far too fast! I've mentioned before he is in 6 - 9 month clothing and some 9 - 12 month sleepsuits. I'm just going to have to wait and see and then have a couple of emergency shopping sprees end of next month I think!! Lord knows how big he will be by then...

We bought him a lovely big memory foam cushion to nap on - and he loves it. But he's only had it about 5 or 6 weeks and is already too long for it! I need to find a bigger one.

He is feeling very poorly today - and has some sort of gunky liquid coming from every orifice...we have given him some tixylix and some snufflebabe and he is currently napping very noisily on his cushion. Poor little sausage...I'd take the cold for him if I could :-(

We have his last round of jabs tmrw morning too...so that should be fun! My mum seems to think they wont do them if he is poorly already. I tried to call the surgery, but as usual, no one is picking up. Anyone have any idea if they will do them or turn us away...? xxx

Hi Chezza, I don't think they do do their injections if they are poorly.

Can't believe JJ is almost in 9-12 and Libby's just in 3-6 :) complete opposites :)

She's on the floor watching in the night garden now.

She's got slip slips on :)

Not sure what to get for winter?? I need to get a 0-6 month gro bag in 2.5 tog as she won't be big enough for the 6-18 month ones. We've got vests, gro's snow suit, water proof outfit, need a wooly hat and some mittens of some sort. Not sure what else?

I bloody hate teething. Evan is so grumpy and chomping on his hands and mine all the time. Teething granules are doing nothing, neither is any of the teething gels i've tried (Calgel, Bonjela, Nelsons) and HV suggested Ambesol. Nothing is easing it for him. I only want to use Calpol as a last resort or at bedtime.

Managed to get him to nap though but that was an epic...

Will be trying him with a little bit of baby rice tonight as his reflux is coming back a little and he is feeding a lot more. Wanted to wait but he seems to be ready so i'll give it a go
