Hello to all the newcomers!

Got Daisy weighed yesterday, she's now 8lb 8.5oz so just over half a pound this past week!

My fluey symptoms have mostly gone now so I think the antibiotics are kicking in. Blister is drying up now too so hopefully get her back on that boob ASAP. Although she has been fussing at the breast a bit - don't think the milk comes out fast enough for her, little greedy guts likes the speed of a bottle!

Re: sizes - Daisy has grown out of her first size/up to 1 month stuff now, but only in the legs!! Her feet are right at the bottom of all her gros! Need to get a few in 0-3 but the problem is they're so big on her round the middle lol

Hi ladies, Miles has colic his little screams are sooo sad. Health visitor said today she thinks he's being a bit greedy with his feed as he will have a two hour bf and then still be hungry so I have to give him formula. She said give him less and less formula each time or go cold turkey.........think mastitis is coming back though in my dodgy boob, feeding becoming super painful again. Making me a bit fed up and dunno what to do for the best now, just want him to be all full and happy! Hope everyone is ok xxxxx

Got my lil man weighed today and he is now 7lbs 6 oz at 8 weeks old. he was 3lbs 14oz at birth so he us piling it on! he is as handsome as eva. still in no routine what so eva! xx

Evan has been screaming most of the evening. I think his wee is a little strong as he has being weeing like mad and only stops when his nappy is off. Unfortunately he also likes weeing at mummy and daddy a lot!

Don't think the antibiotics are helping things either, still got another week on them

Lexi is still wearing some newborn but is starting to fill them. Put her in a couple newborn outfits i forgot i had and she will prob never wear them again as already small! Like these dungarees for example...

Daisy & Lexi have soooo much hair!! My Grace is a little baldy compared lol I assumed she'd have lots too cause me & her dad have thick hair!

Those dungarees are gorgeous pudds it's a shame when you find things they've already grown out of I have some early baby trousers and they're like little shorts on Grace LOL.

Grace is grunting and crying a lot when she's trying to poo. I thought it was constipation but she's having regular BMs & they're soft x

Just a little tip...

After changing your babies pooey nappy be sure to wash your hands immediately before licking your fingers to open up a nappy sack.

I sadly found out the hard way...

Brandnew, Ceecee, great to hear your babies are gaining weight, its such a relief, isnt it?
Tambo you poor thing.

I have a question - how did you make your babies take a dummy? Mark just spits them out. Exactly like his brother did. I keep trying but he gets upset cause he doesnt want it.

Lexi uses a dummy when she won't settle. She didn't like it at first but Im an expert. Lol

What shape are you using hun? We use cherry shape (for cam too). Try tapping it for a min or so, helps baby latch it.

I have been using mam ones, i do the tapping as well but he doesnt budge. The thing is that in the beginning he would take it for a bit but now he just pushes it out.
A was the same, i tried everything, you name it. Argh

Well got my chunky little monkey weighed and he's now 10lb 4oz (up from 9lb a week last Monday!).

Anyone else finding they are having to change 2-3 nappies in an hour? Evan is not happy with a dirty nappy on. I'm having to change it straight after he's done his business, but then 10 mins later he has done another wee... I'm getting through nappies like DH is getting through chocolate at the minute (and thats's a lot lol).

Haven't been able to get Evan to take a dummy. He keeps pushing it out with his hands. Although based on his weight gain I think he loves boob too much to put anything else in his gob!

Poor little man in nearly bald on top now - he still has quite a mullet at the back though.
