Oh dear, I have a very grumpy baby today who is on his third nap.

His high chair arrived this morning and he seemed quite happy in it, still a bit too small for the tray but it might make my dinnertime easier if he can sit at my level

I just had the biggest disaster morning that ever was! Met a friend for Brunch at a local bakery. Firstly they were mean and wouldn't let me substitute my OJ that came with the breakfast for anything, not even a bread roll! I can't drink OJ as it turns E's bum bright red!
Anyway, was half way through eating my brekkie & E wakes up, so I fed her. Was just winding between sides & she did the most almighty poo! It squirted all out the top of her nappy, all over her white clothes & all over my white top & skirt! What a disaster! I bring spare clothes out for E but not for me! Luckily we weren't far from home, so I didn't have too far to walk covered in poo!

How was swimming V&B? Our classes start at the end of the month. Can't wait to take her. What does Libby wear?

@ Emma: Well done Harrison! Let's hope he always like it!

@Amy: hope H enjoys sitting with you at dinner time. E loves watching us eat!

Swimming was fab! She was a little star no crying at all not even when she was dunked :) :) proud mummy

She wore a normal swimming nappy and they give you a neoprene over nappy to use with our course. The water is 32 degrees so nothing else needed, I did take her a little costume but none of the other babies had one on so I didn't bother.

We are having cuddles and play for an hour then I need to start getting ready for wedding tomorrow.

Eeeeek poor you Sophie! I've not had a poo explosion like that thank god, I might chuck a spare pair of leggings and a hoodie in the car just in case though lol

This is what we got

Check with the people you are doing the course with say, with swim babes it has to be double nappy so normal nappy then one of these over.

Oh my god Sophie that sounds impressive for such a little thing! Lol I always have spare for H but never for myself, I think I'll start popping a spare pair of leggings and top in the bag when I go out just in case lol

V&B your swimming classes sound great, I'm not sure if our pool is heated, I don't think it is but I might look in to baby swimming classes.

So I got H a jumperoo, the lady delivered it for me and its in perfect condition. I've given it a wipe over with detol tho and he's been in it, lasted about 15 mins then wanted out, but I didn't think that was bad for his first time :) I'm am slowing running out of space though, I have his bouncer chair, baby gym a box of toys and now his jumperoo in the front room!

OH doesn't even know I have it yet lol that'll be a nice shock for him haha

I know what you mean, Emma! I always mocked people who had loads of baby clutter, but I have the exercise ball for bouncing her on, her swing, her activity mat her high chair and a door bouncer!! Anything to keep her entertained though!

thanks V&B. I'll just phone and ask what I should bring for E to swim in. I was just going to get some of those disposable swimming nappies as I don't really understand how the bought ones work. Do they actually keep poo in or do you have to immediately leave the pool? You can tell from my experience above that I am a little cautious now!! Ha ha!

It's just an added security they have normal disposable swim nappie on underneath (Huggies little swimmer type)

The grumps ate neverending today. He's had 4 naps too. Please god do not be like this overnight. Teething granules and gel are not touching it, he only chews his hands and teething rings etc are pushed away. Don't want to do Calpol as he always ends up being sick after it.

Feeling like a proper proud mummy today, she was fab at swimming ate more porridge than what ended up in her face, not a lot of sleep and went to bed like a dream early, asleep for 7.30 one resettle at 8.30 fx for a nice long first stint.

Wedding tomorrow so hairs been washed tonight ready for straightening in the morning.

Had a glass of red and Chinese and now ready for bed :) rock and roll!!

Well H had a rubbish night sleep. He woke at 3am then 6am with belly ache :( he ended up in my bed with me. He fell back to sleep in the crook of my arm then woke at 9am....needless to say I am shattered today. Plus OH no help due to his whiplash :( so were I usually get a little help over the weekend, this weekend I'm going it alone :(

Xxx

Poor you, Emma. Hope H is a good boy for you today.
Have a nice wedding, V&B. What dress have you gone for? I've got a wedding at the end of October & have nothing suitable for breastfeeding that's fancy enough.

I've had a nice start to the day. Went swimming this morning while OH took E food shopping!

Sounds nicer than my start to the day sophie! OH watched babies whilst i spent 3 hours giving the house a good clean, how fun!
He is starting to appreciate how tough it is now though, he is starting to look after them more and more as i get back in the gym and spa, and he didnt really realise how difficult they can be. Now he can see why it has taken me this long to entrust them to anyone, even him! Plus i find it really hard to be away from them, even just for an hour, bit sad really, lol.

Anyway, weather finally cooling down here now, i am so pleased! And the mother and baby groups start back up soon after the summer, so looking forward to that.
Weighed Catalina this week, and she is 5.7kg and Santiago is nearly 7kg, porky boy! But they have definately stopped feeding so much in the day, and go 3-4 hours between feeds easily. I keep offering them breast thinking they must be hungry and they just push me away! Fine by me, lol ;)
Santiago is getting really strong sitting up, i really dont think it will be long before he sits on his own which is crazy! Catalina is stronger in the legs and just wants to stand all the time, she will def be the first to walk. Neither do much rolling over yet though, and they both hate tummy time.
Linas hair is growingthrough blonde! Santiago has lost most of his and has more of a fuzz with some bald patches :/

Hope everyone has a great weekend :) xxx

Aww Emma, I feel for you. My H had a bit of a bad night too and has been a grump this morning.

Enjoy you wedding v&b. sophie hope you enjoyed your swim. Vertbaudet have a few breastfeeding dresses, might be worth a look.

Nikki the twins sound like they are coming on leaps and bounds. H loves being on his feet. He loves it when his dad bounces him up and down. We have a Jumperoo I'm just waiting for oh to put it together.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. X

Thanks ladies

OH is really suffering and I feel awful for being miffed with him for having to do everything myself but its annoying, him just sitting there lol

However tonight I don't have H tonight he's at his nans, so were having pizza and film night with the eldest child :) and I'm hoping for a good nights sleep so I feel refreshed and ready to go tomorrow :D xx

Will maybe look on ebay to see if I can find any bargains.

I've had a successful day today. Went for a 12k this morning & have just been on a 20k ride on the racing bike. Have got friends coming round for dinner tonight too!
