Omg! Just had a horrible experience . Harry was sat in his bouncy chair in the kitchen whilst my mum and I tidied up. He was tired so falling asleep when he rubbed his face, I think he scratched his eye or poked himself in the eye as he screamed and I mean screamed! He then cried a horrible cry that I havent heard before - it was so much worse then when he had his needles and the only way I could calm him down was to put him on my boob (something that normally never works at calming him down) . It was so horrible that even my mum and I had a little cry. Ive checked his eye and other then being a little watery I cant see anything .

Well I can't get over how long H slept for! He woke for a bottle had a chat with the duvet then nodded back off til 9.30 he's just had another bottle, only 3oz tho, and is playing with his big brother. I hope this is the start of him dropping his night feed, although it will take me a while to get us to it when it does happen lol

In regards to the cot bumpers I don't have any on my cot, H is a wriggler but has only stuck his legs through the bars once. It's a difficult thing to decided because you hear so many different stories and I was all for using them until I hear a story about a lo who got himself caught up in the bumper and suffocated, his mum found him in the morning, he was 4 months old. Just heart breaking. So that made me decided not to use them. Personally I could deal with the guilt of a broken limb, I don't think I could deal with the other possibility However I've only heard good reviews about the Airwraps.

Knopk I have to agree coffee has been my best friend these last few months, I even went out and stocked up on different types lol

Stargirl aww Hun hope H is alright. My H is a face rubber when tired, and he's had a few near misses with poking himself in the eye! He'll have forgotten all about it when he wakes up and be wondering why his mummy keeps checking his eye! Lol

Well H woke up. His eye looks fine and he is now having a massive feed. He normally only has 8-10 mins but we're 15 mins in and showing no signs of pulling off yet!

Stargirl - bless you I've lost count of the number of times JJ has gouged himself somewhere on his face /eye I try and keep his nails as short as possible, but sometimes he just manages to get himself in the wrong place! Glad he is ok xxx

Evan has been comfort sucking on my boobs loads for the last few days. Perhaps he's trying to tell me to relax more and watch more tv. He's using the dummy much more as well so obviously needs to suck a lot.

Ordered a big playmat which I'm collecting later. Very excited lol!

I think its growth spurt, they do "order" more milk this way, Mark has been.the same. Plus my eldest is ravenous too. They will eat me out of this house.

Makes sense. He's conked out on the floormat at the moment, only tends to do long daytime naps around growth spurt time.

Looked at little shoe things earlier. We are off to Scotland in a few weeks and will be using the carrier so need something to keep his feet warm if it's cold.

Nooo, no tandem feeding here. I would not have time to do anything! Haha. He has eaten 3 weetabix and a banana for breakfasy then another weetabix for snack at 10 am!

Wow that's a huge appetite your little boy has knopk!

Well I've had a good day, H has had 3 bottles 3 naps and lots of play time and smiles, I love days like this

I think it may all be about to change tho, just before going to sleep he strained for a poop but couldn't manage it and had a little cry. I've given him some cooled water and a bit of gripe water hopefully that'll help him, im gonna give him a tummy massage when he wakes up.

Oh and I've walked to morrisons today and bought bits to make a chilli, it's currently simmering away in the slow cooker, yummy

Hair done! My pamper week is now complete.
Not holding out much hope for tonight as madam has missed 2 naps. Trying to get her to have a little snooze now but daddy is due back any time.

Mine was around 8wks then got another 2wks later which was the worst i ever had i was due sat just gone but still no sign i have dtd unprotected but pg test was neg xx

My poor baby has apparently learnt to scream
OH got back from work & I went swimming. When I came back E was asleep in his arms all boiling hot & red from crying. She'd been screaming uncontrollably for 30 mins, poor baby.
OH said he'd wanted to have dinner ready on the table to show me it could be done, cheeky sod!

Hi ladies had another busy day. Trying to get everything ready for holiday. Just washing and ironing as well as all my usual stuff!! Anyway thank for ur views on the bumpers and I am going into town on Friday so will go to John Lewis and look at those bumpers. They sound like a really good idea. Would never of known about them without u ladies!!
Well jack had a mammoth sleep last night. 10.30-8.30. An he still managed to have 3x2 hr naps today. And he went back to bed at 10.00 pm so we will see how long he goes for. For his dinner tonight he had potato and carrot purée and loved It. My OH can't shovel it in fast enough. Jack starts getting arsey with him for not feeding him quick enough!! And jacks also trying to grab and hold his bottle! No sure whether its a fluke or not but hey ho. Went to get jack weighed today and the clinic wasn't open for some reason?! So it'll have to wait till we are back from holiday. Hope everyone is ok today. Xxxxxx

Morning ladies!
Very tired here this morning, babies slept great until the early hours and then they both cluster fed from about 3:30am til now! Urgh!
Wouldnt mind, but we have to go to the hospital today, Santiago has a scan appointment to see if his hole in the heart has improved. And they are both a bit cranky. Fingers crossed they behave. And more finger crossing that we see some improvement

Well H didn't sleep through last night he woke at 3.40 for a feed back in bed for 4.22 and slept til 8am. So he's not doing to bad at all, but would have liked a repeat of the other night! Lol

Don't have anything planned for today, might take a walk later on but other than that its a lazy day for us, might even squeeze in a nap when H goes for his
