Hi all,

Hope gtt test results are ok Jojo. I think I'll go overdue too, put forward by 5 days at scan. Went 9 days over with Freddie.

Had mw appt today, got MatB1 form, bump measured bang on 26.5cm and I'm 26.5 weeks and listened to hb which was lovely. Got a private scan booked for this Sunday. Next appt is 28 weeks where ill get bloods and anti-D injection, followed by the whooping cough vaccine the next day. I'm gonna feel like a pin cushion!

After thinking I might be fine next week week for my bloods my mate drops a bomb she'll saying the cough jab hurts!! I'm petrified of needles and so far I've been really brave. But now I'm really scared.

Not guna lie the whopping cough jab hurt lol!
I had a weord reaction to it aswell and most of my upper arm was red and swollen. Only lasted a few days.
Im having it again this time as id rather the pain then baby catching it! Xxxx

This may sound really stupid but what is whooping cough? I'm having mine on the 18th Feb. Got my gtt tomorrow really rather nervous about it. Xx

I've heard it hurts more than other jabs. I'm usually ok with them, just cant watch, but glad I know to expect this one to smart a bit more. But again id rather a bit of pain now than days struggling to look after a sick baby.

Aw its awful hun!

Its a cough, but you literally chock for air! And the sound it like a whopping noise.
Youtube have videos of it.

Its very common in babies but my OH had it when i was preg with my 1st and i shit myself, actually thought it was going to die he was purple and couldnt catch his breath. Its horrible!!! Xx

It didnt hurt having it done, just a quick sting like the flu one really. Its afterward that it got really really sore! Ill try and find a photo for u with my arm! I remmeber posting on here about it lol! X

Oh that looks so painful!!! :( i haven't had the flu jab (not bothering now either) so I dunno if that would have hurt!! Dreading bloods as last time my blood stopped draining halfway down the tube and it took another 6 attempts to get any I was traumatised coz the needle slipped out after the 4th time and my hand was covered in blood as nurse didn't notice!!xx

Ergh god!!! Im alright with bloods if i dnt look st works out okB
I have SHIT veins though and have had them taken from my blood foot before!!!

My veins don't like being stabbed either, they always run away and hide. Plus they don't really like to bleed, always takes me 3 times longer than anyone else to finish when I go to give blood.

Those pics are intense babyslog, thankfully it cleared up ok, and as you say, 2-3 days discomfort worth it for peace of mind.

I hope mine isn't too bad- . I've ::) it work that night... although do n done xxx asked me yt? O, swop so I might.

I feel , so horrible tonight... awful indigestion they Judy won't go.

Ive got serious acid reflux/heartburn but its my fault for scoffing honey roasted peanuts haha!

I've just had onion and baked potato (don't,ask lol) so prog make it worse

My arm went exactly like yours after my whooping cough jab babyslog, I ended up on antibiotics for it! It was so sore and uncomfortable but definitely worth it knowing that baby is covered against getting it.
Baby has been very quiet last night and this morning :-/ I had the usual morning kicks yesterday, then I don't usually feel much throughout the day until the evening when I sit down but I didn't feel anything last night. Had a few wiggles this morning when OH cuddled us before going off to work and a few little movements since which have reassured me, but still not as active as she has been the last few weeks. I'm hoping she's just moved positions and is hiding behind the placenta, but will keep an eye on it throughout the day. I never know when to start worrying and call the mw about reduced movements? I went in around this sort of time with Oscar after a (very minor!) car crash and they pretty much looked at me like I was nuts for even worrying about reduced movement so early, but it terrifies me after reading so many stories of stillbirth etc on other groups that I'm in :-/
Sorry, that turned into a bit of a ramble lol
Xxx

I think they have knuckled down on RMs over thr last year or so hun.i went in from about this time with Noah.

Some hosps won't till 26+ weeks, some from even 28 though. But I know now its more if you think baby has changed from their normal pattern then to call.
They may ask u to lay down for an hour 1st and if u dnt feel 10 kicks within the hr then to go up to be checked

I hated calling, always felt dramatic, spesh when Noah used to show me up the 2nd i'd get on the bloody trace lol! X

That's what always happened with Oscar, I'd feel nothing for hours even after trying everything to get him moving so I'd get myself all worked up. Then as soon as I was put on the monitor, he wouldn't stop! At one point though, they were close to sending me to the bigger hospital to see a consultant because there wasn't enough variation in the trace, he picked up just in time luckily.
I've felt a few movements this morning, but not much since. I don't tend to feel much between breakfast and tea time ish anyway really so not tooooo worried about that. If I still don't feel much this evening tho, I'll definitely give them a call. These babies know how to worry us don't they! Xx

Bet soon as u call she starts lol! Its always the same.

Keep us updates hun xx
