New Year, New You! [The Big Weightloss Thread]

See a 10 wouldn't even remotely look at my bottom half but on top I could easily get into a 10 :yay:

I need some leg exercises Nic :D

Will the treadmill get rid of the beef that has accumulated on them?

I've had a good water/food day

How did everyone else get on?

Which part of your legs Mamafy? Thighs or calves? Do you want some bum exercises too?

Thighs Nic :puke: Will the treadmill thin them?

Go on throw in some bum ones too

Yes, the treadmill will definitely help!

Also try and do:

Squats
Leg Raises
Lunges
Steps

Let me know if you need pics/explanations

I would start by doing 8, then rest for 30 secs, then 10, then rest, then 8 then rest. See how you feel. If it's too much, take it down to 6,8,6 or if it's easy go up to 10,12,10 :)

I'll never get to size 10. I'm almost 5'10, and I'd look way too thin. Size 12 suits me fine, and that's my goal.

I'm sure you will get there tezzy, you seem very detemined and that is most o the battle

I designed a couple of tshirts today for the gym. Sort of motivational I guess  I'll uploads the pic later for you guys and hopefully they'll arrive this week!

I also got my course materials today for the PT and nutrition course :yay: First exam is in 3 weeks!

:yay: Thanks Nic, I'm guessing the Wii fit plus would be great as it has loads of stepping and lunges etc?

Plus I will get back to the treadmill

Yep, that sounds good. Never used a Wii fit, but if they have them then that would work fine :) Just remember to up the repetitions if you are finding it too easy.

That may take a while

I done Charlie Brooks dvd after I had Joe and it had loads of lunges, squats and star jumps, I thought I would die

Only if I chase you around a gym first

I need to think of a good name for a PT/Fitness business. Even if I don't go into it, reserving the name would be a good idea! Anyone got any ideas?

I've heard Wii Fit is quite expensive, are they? I have a Wii sitting in my cupboard gathering dust!

My mum/brother got it for the kids (ahem me  ) at Xmas, think it was £80 for the Wii fit plus and balance board. Loads of fitness programmes and yoga, cycling, jogging :D
