I have got some weight to shift before the new year as i have to buy a new wardrobe when i go back to work so wanna lose weight in time for that :?

Right now on the list i can see black tea no sugar but how many points do you give for having tea with milk and a sugar?
Another one is that i generally have weetabix for breakfast but cant see how many points for that either, anybody know?

Oh ok i just had a thought, i am breastfeeding so does that mean i have to add 10 points to my points allowed total :think:
 
I'm going to update the first post!! I've lost 2lb this week, which means in total (since 27th Sept) I've lost 13lb! Nearly a stone! :cheer:

Charlie, yeah you can have 28 points and I allocate 0.5 for milk in my tea because I have semi skimmed and only have a few cups. I use candarel tablets instead of sugar which are free :D Not sure about weetabix though :( I know rice krispies with milk are 3 points a bowl...

Well done Danni on your weight loss, your doing really well.

Ok i will allocate half a point to milk for tea. I will be swapping to canderal when i go shopping later in the week so that should help me.
I have worked out my weetabix points on the calculator, forgot that i could work it out myself :lol:

I'm a bit fed up really, my start weight when i was pregnant was around 11 stone, then i got terrible morning sickness and went down to 10 stone, then after 3 months i got my appetite back and went up to 14 stone 7 !! then at my six week check I was down to 12 stone 7. Now nearly 6 months on ive shot back up to 13 stone 13!!! :? So my weights floated up and down for the past year and i just want to get back to my pre- preg weight of 10-11 stone!

Just to update I started on Monday this week the 27th have lost 3lb already but weigh in isnt until Monday, and my point allowence is 29 points.

Right, I joined WW online last week as I finaly got so fed up of being fat-I was horrified when I got on the scales-I was 2lb hevaier than when I was 9 months PG with Ruby :oops:

I am disgusted with myself, but very determined to trim down and be a yummy mummy...

Lost 7lb in my first week-I am delighted :cheer: Going to be a hard slog as still have a LONG way to go....

how to work your points allowance out.
The points you get depends on a number of things:


Are you:
Female = Score 3
Male = Score 9

Are you a breastfeeding mother?
No = Score 0
Yes, breastfeeding exclusively = Score 10
Yes, supplementing breastfeeding with solid foods = Score 5

How old are you?
16 - 20 = Score 5
21 - 35 = Score 4
36 - 50 = Score 3
51 - 65 = Score 2
Over 65 = Score 1

How many stones do you weigh?
Ignore the lb, the number of stones is your score for this question. Someone who weights 12st 4lb will score 12

How tall are you?
Under 5ft 4ins = Score 1
5ft 4ins or above = Score 2

In your day to day life are you:
Sitting down most of the time = Score 0
Occasionally sitting, but mainly standing = Score 2
Walking most of the time = Score 4
Doing physically hard work most of the time = Score 6


Add all the sections together and thats your daily allowance.
