Still nothing here! My abdomen feels quite tight, like Im constipated! I do go and sit and hum on the loo, but no result! **TMI**
I had loads of wind last night, and really really sharp stabbing pains in my foof, but nothing else! I just know this baby is waiting to be forced out!!

went uptown and had to come home again - walking round for a couple of hours and my tummy feels rotten... like bad period pains... still bleeding from the sweep too.. is that normal - well i say bleeding it's like a watery dark reddish colour... any ideas??

Treeze, I had a slimy browny/dark red discharge after my first sweep. Is it ur show? If ur concerned ring ur MW. I was told to ring if any concerns at all r.e bleeding or babies movements.

How much loss did you have after your sweep.. i've been to the loo about 3 times since the sweep at 1pm and each time there is enough to change my pantyliner... it does look a bit watery and speckly with bits in it so i 'm sure its from her disturbing the mucus plug or something?

Baby still moving as normal....

Oooo I wonder who will deliver first? Even tho ur a day behind me I reckon this baby is so chilled it could take a while!

I had quite a bit of stuff after my sweep, but it was more when I wiped than on my pad. It had specks of gunk in it to. It does sound like its ur show, but if it continues to be a lot I would buzz the MW and just get some reassurance.

Haha I know. I've got the bloody hairdressers in the morning though haha typical. I don't think I'm lucky enough to go tonight x

I don't even get braxton hicks. Just crampy stomachs and a few pains here and there lol. I bought clary sage oil today, it doesn't smell as bad as people make out. Just smells like aromatherapy stuff. I'm going to have a bath in it later, if it doesn't bring labour at least it will relax me. I've read lots of people having a good nights sleep after having a bath in it. X

Hi ladies, is much happening? Not a lot of time to get on now although Emily sleeps most of the time. Need to do my birth story soon! Emily had her first bath at home tonight (she had one in hospital) she screamed the place down lol.

Ella cries unless we keep putting warm water on her tummy - then she's happy! Plus the water generally has to be warm for her x

morning all...

hope you are all feeling ok today. I'm still suffering a bit from that sweep yesterday. Just really bad peiod pains (and i'd forgotten how rotten period pains are too!)..even my groin muscles are aching every time i stand up too.

The mucus/bloody loss has seemed to ease a bit overnight so hopefully that's the end of it now.

So the sweep has definately caused these pains and loss etc but it doesn't appear to be doing much else. Just hope the pain doesn't stick around until Tuesday when i go in for induction. I wasn't feeling too bad up until this!!!!

Has kind of changed my mind about sweeps a bit now... If this one does nothing either i don't think i'd be as quick to get another one next time! Not if all it's going to do is give you grotty pains!

Oh well i guess it was worth a go and some people say that the period type pains hang around and then gradually change into contractions so i suppose there's hope yet!

Well, today Josie's got nursery.. then a bowling party, then pizza hut for her friends birthday.. then tomorrow another birthday party and last day of term.. then my hubby is off for 10 days!!! Induction on Tuesday!!!!

I know what you mean about the afterpains after a sweep Treeze, last week i was in agony! Hopefully it will turn into something else for you though - pain is good at this point

Its looking pretty crappy outside today but i think i might shove a jumper and stuff on in a bit and go for a long walk to encourage him.

My phone is annoying me now - MIL wont leave me alone shes texting every 5 minutes asking for updates!! x

oh how annoying cherelle! my dad and sister are the same... and now they even try to make out they're phoning for something completely different.. but before the end of the call they ALWAYS slip in a "any twinges?" and they even say it really quickly as though they haven't really said it at all! Me and hubby put it on loudspeaker sometimes and sit there smirking and waiting for the "where's the baby comment!"...

have you seen that page on facebook called "i check my facebook like is the morning newspaper"... that's what we're like on here hey?! But at least on here there's always something going on!!!
